    Let me start off by saying the campaign was much better than I expected, as a Marvel fan it had everything. A good story and villain, a unique protagonist and awesome scenes. There were moments where I could really relate with Ms. Marvel, who is a big fan of the Avengers.

    One of the core strengths of this game are the heroes. They are so well designed and unique. The skill trees are    Let me start off by saying the campaign was much better than I expected, as a Marvel fan it had everything. A good story and villain, a unique protagonist and awesome scenes. There were moments where I could really relate with Ms. Marvel, who is a big fan of the Avengers.

    One of the core strengths of this game are the heroes. They are so well designed and unique. The skill trees are expansive and offer the possibility to customize the hero to you play style. There are also a lot of enemy types, and every one of them attacks with a different timing and range. So it will take time to master your hero and know when to block, vault or dodge.

    This is a looter shooter, so gear is kinda important. But I cannot comment yet on gear as the game is only in early access since tuesday, but I can see it has a lot of potential.

    I absolutely love this game, but there were some cons. I experienced some minor graphical bugs and sound bugs, but nothing game breaking. The vaulting system to jump over an enemy has improved a lot since the beta. Which indicates to me that CD really is listening to the community and adjusting where needed. The dodging and blocking mechanics could use some more love too.

    I play on a base PS4 and had an overall good performance, there were some missions where I had frame drops, so I do hope they will keep optimizing the game on all platforms.

    With the announced operations and updates and much more heroes and content to be added in the future, I will definitely keep returning to this game and look forward to play it on my PS5 at the end of the year. If I could describe this game in one word, it would be FUN. Im really having loads of fun with it, and that is the most important thing, therefore I assemble a user score of 9/10!    … Expand

    Extremely great. Loved the campaign from the start to end . Bugs have been fixed and game now runs really smooth .Square Enix with Marvel have done a great job.

IT IS A GAME...There's is lots of repetitive gameplay in lots of different games like Destiny or the division or borderlands and many others. Some you just dont notice or others you see but dont care. People crying about the repetitive gameplay obviously don't play many other games. The story is pretty good I got hooked into it right away. With all the updates that they plan to be coming, for free by the way, I can see a good future for this game. I have played this game from, each beta and also got the 3 day early pass. I have not completed it yet but still doesn't mean I can't say how I feel because sheeple will cry and a good game can fail, so you should ignore the review bombs and actually try it out yourself. Wait and see what the Critics say from IGN, Metacritic and where ever else you trust. It is a great game. Its fun. Who does not want to smash as the Hulk or fly through the air as Iron-man or even the new character who I really like aka Ms Marvel. Lots of great things with this game and that's what you should be focusing on. I am sick of the negativity with the games and how these people create their games, Yes there is microtransactions at your discretion to do it or not. I believe them to be all cosmetical, so different suits or emotes. I haven't really checked out the microtransactions yet because I'm still learning the game and playing it. I believe there is also a way to earn to buy cosmetical items. I mean they are going to keep this game fresh and put up a lot of updates, so microtransactions just gives them a little bit of money to keep that going, help out the workers and artests who work hard on this game, which I'm fine with. I don't mind buying a cool outfit every now and then if they keep it fresh and updated.

    So I'll leave you with this, it is a great game. Obviously there's going to be bugs and issues but they are listening to the people and I believe they will fix them. Instead of listening to negativity about it listen to the positive. Search or watch it for yourself and decide yourself if you want to buy the game or not. Don't listen to what people say, your opinion can be different than the next guys. I'm enjoying the game and I can't wait to dive deeper into Marvel's Avengers.    … Expand

    Great campaign. Probably the best superhero videogame ever (with Batman: Arkham series). I love it. Co-op is very fun if you play it with friends. Gameplay feels good too with every character. I'm so happy with this game. And I can't wait to play with the upcoming new heroes.     The campaign story is excellent and really well written, the characters have unique set of skill that make each of them fun to play
    The only downside is that the campaign locks some characters until almost the end of the story and that the price for skins is WAY overpriced

    Super fun everything is good fighting has a very good depth and feelings but fps drops sometimes and some audio and texture glitches it needed more polish but its still a great game dont believe haters if u want to be fair in this genere (looter shooter/brawler) its best and there are lot of content in it and 90% is on the way. Its fighting is so much fun ironman cap and thor are mySuper fun everything is good fighting has a very good depth and feelings but fps drops sometimes and some audio and texture glitches it needed more polish but its still a great game dont believe haters if u want to be fair in this genere (looter shooter/brawler) its best and there are lot of content in it and 90% is on the way.     Great fun but the campaign is a little short. Obviously will improve once DLC stories are added. I think it should of had at least one dlc on release. I’ve experienced a few bugs and glitches but nothing major and will definitely get patched soon.

    This game DOES NOT deserve the hate it gets. It has the best campaign I’ve played in recent years and each character is so unique that I keep going back to each one for more! I would highly recommend this game.

    The game definitely doesn't deserve a 10, but the negative reviews are stupid enough to make me give it a 10 just to boost the score up. Do research about the game, the official website is right there, actually read about it. The amount of misinformation, be it about gameplay, performance, fighting mechanics, or monetization, going around this game is atrocious.

    I want to hate this game, because I aee exactly what everyone is complaining about, but after completing the single player campaign and dipping my toes into multiplayer, I have to say I'm still having a blast! Fingers crossed that square listens to the criticisms and builds on what makes this game fun!

    Great game. I'm having lots o fun and just finished de campaing mode. Read to go full coop now. I wont give a 10 because there are still a few bugs with voice dub and frame rate drops but i'm sure they will address it asap. I'm very happy with the game so far and I know i'll be spending lots of time on it.

    Honestly this game is almost perfect. The story is interesting and adds a very underrated character in Kamala Khan, who adds a fresh perspective on the story. The biggest drawback to me is the endgame. It's a grind for gear that does draw rather long as it goes on

    I recommend this for any marvel fan and its a fun time with friends. Story:its fun and very engaging surprisingly so there's tons of single player content here.

    Gameplay:its very flashy in your fave beat'em up style that I appreciate. With light and heavy combo and a deeper skill tree than would've expected (it rivals destiny skill tree easily). The most is how every hero is so good and    I recommend this for any marvel fan and its a fun time with friends. Story:its fun and very engaging surprisingly so there's tons of single player content here.

    Loving this game. I was not a fan of hav6this story led by Kamala but they handled her well, made her likeable, and her interactions constantly Avengers are great moments. The cut scenes are very well done and the story is engaging. There are some things that could be adjusted , like the mf health. Half the time I have no idea when my health is low unless I'm constantly looking at it. ButLoving this game. Campaign took me 10 hour on normal and that was a lot of fun the multiplayer is where bugs started to show up for me but nothing major happened and for the most part been a seemless 25 hour with way more to come for me… Expand

    The negative reviews are like reading any comment section of any social network app out there. People love to hate these days. Is this game super deep like Skyrim or something? Of course not. It's not supposed to be. It is a very fun game to play! Kids and Marvel fans of all ages will love it!

    So they delayed it to fix polish it, but I got the paid early access and got a game breaking bug, Asked for help on it nothing back, so I see they've taken 2 days from me, the only way to get around the bug was to delete my save and in this time they had patched 2 times, the game story is really good and there is some ace moments it is fun, but Crystal Dynamics CS is poor and even onSo they delayed it to fix polish it, but I got the paid early access and got a game breaking bug, Asked for help on it nothing back, so I see they've taken 2 days from me, the only way to get around the bug was to delete my save and in this time they had patched 2 times, the game story is really good and there is some ace moments it is fun, but Crystal Dynamics CS is poor and even on Twitter didn't want to know, there little touches missing all over like markers of other people to see where the team is, should have been delayed longer to fix the game… Expand

    It's not the most epic story of all time, but it's super fun. I think they did a great job of the characterisations of everyone and didn't copy paste from the MCU. The combat is fun, some characters way more than others. My only gripe is that the tutorial comes wah too late in the game.

    Destiny/Anthem/Ghost Recon/ Warframe again why is every game a loot shooter trying to make more money on people? This has so much potential, but has so many flaws. Wish Crystal Dynamics just stuck to Tomb Raider.

    I was very in the fence, but I am so pleasent surprised with this title that I decided to be very generous with my grade.

    Its for sure a 8! Just needs some polish and some FPS stability and we have a title to play super heroes and grind for gear and upgrades.

    Loving it!

    It felt like a pretty good Marvel story as far as things go. Kamala is awesome but I would go as far as saying that the game mostly focuses on Hulk, Iron Man and Kamala.

    The post story multiplayer stuff is pretty much your typical live service / mmo, repeatable missions to earn better gear. Some story beats there.

    El juego esta chulisimo, se ve muy bien y me gusta mucho, lo malo es que cada personaje tenga un pase de batalla que cueste 10 € ¡me parece abusivo!

    Here is the deal, there are only 3 supervillains in this game. That is it...just three. The rest are just generic looking robots. Square had the entire catalogue of Marvel characters at it's disposal and they thought it was a good idea to make 4 out of the 7 boss fights just be against generic robots that might as well have been regular enemies? That doesn't make any sense...it makes so little sense that I'm actually offended that they tried to pass it off as quality content.

    On top of that, you only get to really play as 4 of the 6 members of The Avengers, as two of the team isn't unlocked until the campaign is almost completed. The foundation for a decent game is here, but at launch this is NOT worth the price. Marvel fans should wait a year until they pick this game up. As by then they'll hopefully be an actual game worth playing.

    Currently the game is bland, colorless, and boring - it is cinematic to a fault which means that realism was given priority over "fun."    … Expand

    Game is good. With it being the end of this gen and no new games really coming out. Except for cyberpunk which was has been pushed back a billion times. This games is pretty good. With the power customization. Any bad reviews are just small pee pee incels mad at the social justice stuff in the game.. which marvels comics is all about and has always neen about in it entire existenceGame is good.     Let's start of with the story, the story is a wonderful origin story for Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel. The banter between her and the characters are fantastic. This game made me fall in love with her character so much that I went and bought a couple of her TPB's. The story itself is really well told and has some great cinematic moments that you would want from a AAA title.     - Base/Standard costumes are locked away after the first story mission. How the developers dared to release this title under the condition it is in and represent Marvel like this is beyond me. Either they don’t care or they are deluded to the point they think that what they have produced is worthy enough to carry a powerhouse name such as The Avengers.    … Expand

    Really enjoyed the story mode of the game. Ms. Marvel was a great choice to focus the game on. So far the combat has been pretty satisfying and love how each character is different. Voice acting is top notch but a few characters seemed a bit off. Honestly can't wait for the next content drop to see what's next. The game is getting a lot of hate that really isn't deserved.

    This isn't even a game, it's a glorified casino. If you want to get the entire game, DLC, mictrotransactions, pre-order bonuses, etc. You'll be looking at well over 1000 dollars. Save your money for a real game that's not so greedy.

    The storyline has actually been pretty good so far. The voice acting and the characters have depth although the way that Tony stark is portrayed is not the best from a comedic stand point.     Extremely fun game, the campaign is well crafted and heartfelt, the graphics are visually impressive, the amount of content in store for anyone to play is a blast, and overall it's probably one of the better live service games out there, highly recommend it if you're a fan of marvel and/or games similar to destiny

    I had my doupts regarding this game after I tried the beta, but damn was I wrong. The storry is a strong 8/10 in my opinion and the multiplayer is like diablo only with awesome combat. Been playing non-stop since release and still looking forward to get better gear and more skills

I can see this game lasting for a long time depending on how much content they deliver for us. If you liked ultimate alliance, you will surely like this.

    The campaign was good, not a masterpiece but it was better than I expected, also the combat felt good but sometimes it was clunky, but for me, the game was very fun even if I played solo and it had a good amount of content apart from the campaign that kept me playing for hours, maybe with the future content I will raise my score, but for now it still a good game.

    This isn’t a review inasmuch as a thanks to the numerous people who own the game have rated it and made me make my decision in whether or not purchase. I won’t be buying it. I love the MCU, I love the movies, but simply put this isn’t good enough. Too many negatives and I won’t be investing so it’s a no from me. The fact the a lot of the main critic reviews aren’t out either.

    The game excels in what was proposed initially to be, a great brawler hero game, and it really is, the heroes are very good to play, they have unique gameplays. The History so far is also great, with great twists, and the modes are a blast.

    Im having so much fun with this game, and I really Recommend it.

    It could’ve been a great single player title. The publisher chose to go down the game as a service path though, and those who prefer to play solo need to tackle run-of-the-mill co-op missions. The multiplayer on the other hand is messy, chaotic and in the long run boring. When the developers manage to fix the most pressing bugs and find a way to bring more variety to co-op, this might become a solid game. Right now, I can only recommend it to the biggest fans of the Avengers. [11/2020, p.26]

    This is the perfect example of "Games as a Service" done right. Marvel's Avengers offers up a superb campaign story to play through that is promised to be expanded on in the future. The gameplay may be repetitive, but it includes just enough to keep players interested and invested in the endgame content that is available now to keep this game going until the next step in its roadmap. The possibilities and potential in the future here are hugely exciting.

    There have been plenty of moments during my time with Marvel's Avengers where I’ve genuinely had a great time. But this game keeps finding ways to drag itself down- at times it almost feels like it goes out of its way to do so. There’s just so much here that I can’t overlook, no matter how hard I may try. An unnecessary and broken loot system, a litany of horrible technical issues, uninspired and one-note mission design, and a story that fails just as much as it succeeds- it doesn’t matter how mindlessly fun the combat is, it isn't enough to overcome such a heavy list of problems.
