    I thought this game was going to be my new Destiny. It is nothing like Destiny, the graphics are ok, but I really wish they'd pony up for the real characters. I also wish the combat was more satisfying. It's a little dull and gets stale remarkably fast.

    The game is great and have a lot of room to improve. Frame rate drops in PS4 version when your fighting a lot of enemies. Other than that the story mode was better than I expected and the characters play just how you would want them to play. Thier is a lot to do in the game before and after the campaign.

    Great story mode, well written and full of heart. Great actings and beautiful soundtrack.

    Also, co-op missions are entartaining and well constructed.

    One of the best Marvel Games ever made!

    This game DOES NOT deserve the hate it gets. It has the best campaign I’ve played in recent years and each character is so unique that I keep going back to each one for more! I would highly recommend this game.

    Great campaign. Probably the best superhero videogame ever (with Batman: Arkham series). I love it. Co-op is very fun if you play it with friends. Gameplay feels good too with every character. I'm so happy with this game. And I can't wait to play with the upcoming new heroes. Many of the negative reviews from the users are from people that they didn't even play the full game, just theGreat campaign. Probably the best superhero videogame ever (with Batman: Arkham series).     Gameplay is not bad but i think it could be better , but storyline is good and this game can be one of the best Marvel Games On this decade beside Marvel's Spiderman.

    There really is not much to keep your attentions after a few hours. The story ties in a multiplayer experience that is repetitive and dull. The story isn’t isn’t very entertaining either so this may the most “meh” game I’ve played since the PS2 generation.

    This is an awful cash grab. Full price base game with $10 battle passes for each character , exclusive outfits to random brands and Spider-Man being cut off from 2/3 of players. This wouldn’t be so bad if the game was good unfortunately it’s a bland games as a service game. Don’t buy this game it’s just a cash grab save your money and just rewatch the MCU films you will have a better time.

    Does it have flaws, sure. But it has a good story, the graphics are great, the voice acting is wonderful, and I think this game was made for next Generation Hardware. There a lot of annoying little things will get fixed in the next few months. I think over all, as far as games as service go it has the best platform for growth and its the most complete launch to date.

    Overall a fun time for any Avengers fan. Well worth the 8 year wait. Sure there is flaws but again, a very enjoyable time.

    This is my review of the demo so I don't know if it has any weight but I think you should just take my thoughts on this anyways.

    The first 10 minutes of the game is already blocked by a sign up wall where you are bombarded with advertisements and links leading to their shops, from then on I knew that the game was going to lack heart and style. After finishing the beta it was obvious to me that this is just a money grab game and a horrible adaptation to the comic books. The gameplay feels very generic, and I'm a huge fan of button smash games in which you can see where I've put around a thousand hours into Diablo 3; but this game just felt so bland. In the end I never felt like I could create my own unique play style. There is nothing unique about the control scheme in this game. Maybe the final released version will have some things to uncover gameplay style .

    This was my after thought after the beta...

    I'm having alot of fun with the campaign much more epic than I expected and the graphics are very detailed. I can feel there is alot to do and the grind leaves alot to be explored in terms of unlocking skills, gear and factions lvling. This game is for the Marvel and comic fans as there so much fan service to the campaign especially the intro level of the game with Kamala.     Let me start off by saying the campaign was much better than I expected, as a Marvel fan it had everything. A good story and villain, a unique protagonist and awesome scenes. There were moments where I could really relate with Ms. Marvel, who is a big fan of the Avengers.

    One of the core strengths of this game are the heroes. They are so well designed and unique. There were moments where I could really relate with Ms. Marvel, who is a big fan of the Avengers.

    One of the core strengths of this game are the heroes. They are so well designed and unique. The skill trees are expansive and offer the possibility to customize the hero to you play style. There are also a lot of enemy types, and every one of them attacks with a different timing and range. So it will take time to master your hero and know when to block, vault or dodge.

    This is a looter shooter, so gear is kinda important. But I cannot comment yet on gear as the game is only in early access since tuesday, but I can see it has a lot of potential.

    I absolutely love this game, but there were some cons. I experienced some minor graphical bugs and sound bugs, but nothing game breaking. The vaulting system to jump over an enemy has improved a lot since the beta. Which indicates to me that CD really is listening to the community and adjusting where needed. The dodging and blocking mechanics could use some more love too.

    I play on a base PS4 and had an overall good performance, there were some missions where I had frame drops, so I do hope they will keep optimizing the game on all platforms.

    With the announced operations and updates and much more heroes and content to be added in the future, I will definitely keep returning to this game and look forward to play it on my PS5 at the end of the year. If I could describe this game in one word, it would be FUN. Im really having loads of fun with it, and that is the most important thing, therefore I assemble a user score of 9/10!    … Expand

    Really enjoyed the story mode of the game. Ms. Marvel was a great choice to focus the game on. So far the combat has been pretty satisfying and love how each character is different. Voice acting is top notch but a few characters seemed a bit off. Honestly can't wait for the next content drop to see what's next. The game is getting a lot of hate that really isn't deserved.

    If your looking for a fun game this is a great purchase. Yes there is a couple of bugs hear and there but will ironed out over time. nothing major in my play through. You can play as any avenger level them up and yes there is a diffrence in your power when you level up. There are microtransactions but you can unlock it all through the challange card abyway.     Make yourself a favour, stop listening to the negative reviews by people that didn't even played the game! It's a great game, great story, overall a must play if you are a marvel fan, and an awsome experience for every gamer out there!

    A boring slog that plays like something straight out of a PS2 era game.

    I really wish they went with a 'Arkham Knight' approach rather than a 'Destiny' approach.

    I genuinely waited for this game and was very excited for it . I played the beta and was kind of disappointed but when the full game released I really enjoyed the campaign & had a blast using all the characters. In the beta some characters felt boring or not fun but in the full game they all feel fun , I have no idea if they changed something or I wasn’t playing right . But all in all II genuinely waited for this game and was very excited for it . It’s a lacklustre Avengers game with surprisingly only 3 boss fights and we’ve already seen two of them in the games marketing /beta. The only moments that were interesting where the scenes which literally copied the MCU. It gets repetitive due to constantly fighting robots that are damage sponges. May as well give theNo one asked for this game. It’s lazy, uninspired, soulless and greedy. It’s a lacklustre Avengers game with surprisingly only 3 boss fights and we’ve already seen two of them in the games marketing /beta.     I had my doupts regarding this game after I tried the beta, but damn was I wrong. The storry is a strong 8/10 in my opinion and the multiplayer is like diablo only with awesome combat. Been playing non-stop since release and still looking forward to get better gear and more skills

    Great fun but the campaign is a little short. Obviously will improve once DLC stories are added. I think it should of had at least one dlc on release. I’ve experienced a few bugs and glitches but nothing major and will definitely get patched soon.

    Who asked for a Destiny kind of game with the Avengers? I wanted something similar to Spider-man or the Batman Arkham saga, not this Frankenstein of a game conceived in a meeting room full of greedy.executives. Also, technically the frame rate is choppy.

    It's quite amazing to see someone be given the gold mine that is the rights to the Avenger's and still turn out garbage. It is honestly an embarrassing experience, the live service is joke to steal player's money. There is no creativity, no interesting story or characters, but there is about 10 minutes of fun buried deep in there somewhere beneath the microtransactions. The worst partIt's quite amazing to see someone be given the gold mine that is the rights to the Avenger's and still turn out garbage. It is honestly an embarrassing experience, the live service is joke to steal player's money. The worst part however, are the level designs. 90% of the levels are the size of a closet with the creativity of a two year old blind monkey. The levels are disgustingly small and unimaginative, almost to the point of sadness. I cana't believe that someone could take the Avengers and make them worse, that's incredible. Playing as Iron Man is the simplest thing to make fun, but not here, and not from Square Enix. This game is worse than Anthem, and I can't wait to watch it die. SAVE YOUR MONEY… Expand

    It's kinda fun, the VAs are nice, and the suits look cool... but that's about it.

    The story is meager, the graphics aren't impressive, the enemies didn't have any characters (just robots), I can't take MODO seriously,

    The game is horribly buggy (wtf facial animations), the multiplayer is a mess, and I doubt new heroes will make the game any better

    As missões da campanha são únicas e cinematográficas ,    Esse jogo tem vários extremos , algumas coisas são muito boas e outras muito ruins , o modo campanha do jogo é bom , ao meu ver ele tem apenas dois problemas , um , ele é muito curto (terminei em oito horas e meia) , dois , a khamala é irritante demais , que menina chata , ela não cala a boca e tá presente em quase todas as missões.

    As missões da campanha são únicas e cinematográficas , e as batalhas contra bosses são fantásticas.

    O enredo no geral é simples , porém eficaz , parece um arco que você veria em um desenho animado.

    Os personagens tão bem caracterizados , eu gostei bastante da química que os vingadores tem , o único personagem que eu não gostei é a khamala , pelos motivos escritos no primeiro parágrafo.

    A gameplay do jogo é boa , porém podia ser melhor , os personagens não são fluidos , e no final do dia você vai ficar masetando um botão só , você vai enjoar da gameplay lá pras doze horas de jogo , variar personagens vai fazer a gameplay manos repetitiva , mas não é uma diferença muito grande já que os personagens jogam da mesma forma , até os combos são iguais , as únicas diferenças são as animações , a velocidade do personagem e os golpes especiais , de resto os personagens jogam de forma igual.

    level , as skil trees dos personagens são bem legais , você tem bastante controle de como você quer que seu personagem seja , nada a reclamar nesse fronte.

    Agora vamos falar da parte ruim do jogo.

    As missões secundarias warzones missions e dropzones , essas são missões extremamente chatas e repetitivas , os objetivos são idiotas , essas missões são a definição de fetch quest , depois de fazer três ou quatro você já vai ficar enjoado é muito ruim.

    O loot é inútil , e completamente pulavel , eu nem sei porque colocaram isso no jogo é extremante simples e bosal , anthem tem loot mais elaborado que esse jogo.

    Bugs , eu jogue no pc e no xbox one base , e o jogo é bugado pra caralho , queda de frames é comum e constante , as telas de carregamento são muito grandes , bugs visuais são comuns , nas minhas 16 horas de jogo eu tive 9 crashes , e é extremamente comum os personagens não renderizarem imediatamente , dai acontece aquele bug do ac unity , aquele que só carrega o cabelo e o olho de personagem.

    Monetização , o jogo parece mobile , o grind pra conseguir desbloquear os cosméticos são insanos , em 16 horas eu cheguei no nível 20 de um dos battle passes , sim um , o jogo tem seis battle passes , cada um exclusivo de um personagem , é muito grind , ou você pode desbloquear tudo com dinheiro é extremamente ridículo , e não é um sistema justo.

    No geral o jogo é bem medíocre , pra cada coisa boa tem uma falha 6/10.    … Expand

    It's also pretty clear that they don't want you to play this game single player. Once the missions start, it turns in to a co-op game. When playing single player, the computer takes control of the other player and does so poorly. The game might be a little more fun if you play with friends, but the fairly broken combat system will still ruin your experience overall.

    Let's talk about the combat system for a minute. The game tells you to do specific things to use abilities and such. Half the time, you can't get the abilities to work. When they do, they may not trigger when you want them to. To top it off, there's a ridiculous amount of additional animation for most move, which just leaves you completely vulnerable with no way to cancel out. This makes fights much more difficult than they should be.

    On the positive side, the game does look pretty nice on the PS4 Pro. I'd image the PC version would look even better. I only got the PS4 version since I got it for stupid cheap with due to a pricing error on Amazon. Even for the price I paid, I don't think the game was worth it or the time I spent playing it.    … Expand

Characters are classless making the multiplayer pointless. total pass. annoying modern dialogue. we waited almost a decade for this, and this is the best they could do. down with games as a service.

    You can have fun playing the game but the expressions are nothing natural, the game is so repetitive, just missions that requires you to go from the point A to point B.

    This is Anthem all over again but with the Marvel IP. The screen-shake is unbearable, the camera at times is awful and the combat is akin to a mobile phone button masher. GaaS will be the death of this game because content will be dry within a month with the endgame challenge being "add more enemy health" which is an artificial difficulty

    História empolgante e surpreendente mostra muito como os herois também são humanos e imperfeitos , encontrei alguns bugs visuais mas nada que atrapalhe a experiência a gameplay faz vc se sentir como os proprios herois uma bela adaptação das hqs me diverti horas e vou continuar me divertindo com esse jogo maravilhoso no aguardo das atualizações gratuitas

The first 5 hours were some of the best gaming I've had in a long time. And then the next 7 were among the worst. I forced myself to finish it because I paid 80 bucks for it. Had I received it for any less than 60, I would've just given up.

    I loved the story, aside from a few plot points specifically designed to make characters do blatantly stupid things. I would've rather watched the campaign as a movie like Avengers Confidential. Mostly because the game play itself is either buggy or inherently flawed. I'm talking about dodging and evading. It seems to not do a damn thing.

    And then there's getting saddled with an underpowered hero for missions. Those were insanely frustrating. Getting hit 3 or 4 times and put down just became annoying. There WERE side quests to try to boost people but let's talk about those next. They're terrible.

    Waves of enemies, capture the point, whatever. The load times don't justify how short and ultimately pointless they are. Then let's toss in some Destiny style bounties that have no good point to them...and a gear system that doesn't add cosmetics (along with being so totally generic, they are meaningless) and you've got a lot of problems.

    I bought for the campaign. It was at least 13 hours long (would've been 10 I think if some of the systems in the game worked properly). I wish that the game play hadn't tainted the story for me because I was really loving it until I had to struggle bus through their bad systems (jumping and wall running was probably the worst).

    I would return this if I could. I'll likely never load it up again. Regardless of whatever 'plan' they have for keeping it going for years, it won't justify grinding with a game play system that's only a shuffle step above Anthem's horrible setup.

    All around, I say this is a straight do NOT buy. Save yourself from the frustration OR let them work out the bugs they should've been working on since the first closed beta but ignored.    … Expand

    A loot box game of the avengers lol. Even though it's a game based on popular characters, I don't see it going far. This is going to die fast. I went to twitch to see the popularity of this game and I was not surprised to see it just being the tenth most viewed game, it is boring and repetitive as hell.

    One of the best hero game I've ever played. The level of easter eggs we can find, the attention they put into details, and the amount of skills and history to come, just make me happy about buying this game. It was totally worth it!!!

And if their priority at deterring the community through micro transactions was a goal then I’d say they did pretty well. The graphics aren’t **** but nothing impressive for end of console generation game, and whilst graphics is a pretty weak scrutiny to make you would expect a Triple AAA developer with a PlayStation exclusive backing and the Avenger reputation to make something that could at least compare to Uncharted 3. Overall a ****e experience, the adrenaline induced hype I had when going into this game quickly died down when I realised this game could be finished in less than 10 hours flat, realistically this is just a **** quick grab cash scheme that has went poorly for PlayStation (who have dominated this generation and delivered some of the best exclusives that have ever been released). I do feel sympathy for PlayStation, but I think it just highlights the initiative to digress from multiplayer experiences, which are low in quality calibre and oversaturated, and instead focus on single player experiences only. The moment you bring multiplayer into the mix it begs the question of how good the overall game quality is going to be as it only causes studio resources to be diverted towards lucrative monetary aesthetic items whilst they could otherwise be supplemented to making the game a better more jubilant experience.… Expand

    I Knew this would happen. This game is so bad like why are there loot boxes in the game, and also the story is terrible, and the characters are terrible. Why not influence the Arkham games or Spiderman on PS4 and make a fun experience but no, they had to completely do it there own way and they gave us this garbage

Also, Kamala Khan is a completely lame character, just a knock off Mr. Fantastic with social justice thrown in.     Earth's Crappiest Heroes in a barebones game & to be honest you might as well call it The Avengers Division of Anthem’s Destiny & if you get triggered by my opinion i suggest you behave yourself because i would rather play 2018 Spider-Man then this disappointing rubbish so guys don't buy this one believe me it's not worth it for $60 & one more thing as well it's a buggy & broken mess

With all the updates that they plan to be coming, for free by the way, I can see a good future for this game. I have played this game from, each beta and also got the 3 day early pass. I have not completed it yet but still doesn't mean I can't say how I feel because sheeple will cry and a good game can fail, so you should ignore the review bombs and actually try it out yourself. Wait and see what the Critics say from IGN, Metacritic and where ever else you trust. It is a great game. Its fun. Who does not want to smash as the Hulk or fly through the air as Iron-man or even the new character who I really like aka Ms Marvel. Lots of great things with this game and that's what you should be focusing on. I am sick of the negativity with the games and how these people create their games, Yes there is microtransactions at your discretion to do it or not. I believe them to be all cosmetical, so different suits or emotes. I haven't really checked out the microtransactions yet because I'm still learning the game and playing it. I believe there is also a way to earn to buy cosmetical items. I mean they are going to keep this game fresh and put up a lot of updates, so microtransactions just gives them a little bit of money to keep that going, help out the workers and artests who work hard on this game, which I'm fine with. I don't mind buying a cool outfit every now and then if they keep it fresh and updated.

    So I'll leave you with this, it is a great game. Obviously there's going to be bugs and issues but they are listening to the people and I believe they will fix them. Instead of listening to negativity about it listen to the positive. Search or watch it for yourself and decide yourself if you want to buy the game or not. Don't listen to what people say, your opinion can be different than the next guys. I'm enjoying the game and I can't wait to dive deeper into Marvel's Avengers.    … Expand

    Honestly, it was pretty much what I was expecting except for the story which was way better than I expected. The game still have some issues with Frame Rate but comparing it to how it was on the beta it is a big improvement. Can’t wait to see where they will go with this game.

This was a gentle reminder not to ever pre-order something you haven't at least played in some form before. One of the most disappointing games I've played in a long-time and I wasn't even expecting anything super-amazing.....just average.     my god such an awesome story.. I loved every minute of it and can't wait to see what else they come up with later on down the line. I really can’t believe how good this game is and some of the things you can do. This game is going to get better and better

    The lore of the game is just incredible compared to the beta simply the final version is fantastic in both technical details and fun Kamala really locks in a positive energy for the team =)

    The game excels in what was proposed initially to be, a great brawler hero game, and it really is, the heroes are very good to play, they have unique gameplays. The History so far is also great, with great twists, and the modes are a blast.

    Im having so much fun with this game, and I really Recommend it.

    Love the fact that Square Enix released a Marvel game with such beautiful graphics. The story is immersive and the aesthetics of the AIM enemies are true to the ones in the comics. I was astonished by the fact that this game was dubbed and subbed in other languages. A must buy for any Marvel fan! Can't wait to see more characters added!

    It could’ve been a great single player title. The publisher chose to go down the game as a service path though, and those who prefer to play solo need to tackle run-of-the-mill co-op missions. The multiplayer on the other hand is messy, chaotic and in the long run boring. When the developers manage to fix the most pressing bugs and find a way to bring more variety to co-op, this might become a solid game. Right now, I can only recommend it to the biggest fans of the Avengers. [11/2020, p.26]

    This is the perfect example of "Games as a Service" done right. Marvel's Avengers offers up a superb campaign story to play through that is promised to be expanded on in the future. The gameplay may be repetitive, but it includes just enough to keep players interested and invested in the endgame content that is available now to keep this game going until the next step in its roadmap. The possibilities and potential in the future here are hugely exciting.

    There have been plenty of moments during my time with Marvel's Avengers where I’ve genuinely had a great time. But this game keeps finding ways to drag itself down- at times it almost feels like it goes out of its way to do so. There’s just so much here that I can’t overlook, no matter how hard I may try. An unnecessary and broken loot system, a litany of horrible technical issues, uninspired and one-note mission design, and a story that fails just as much as it succeeds- it doesn’t matter how mindlessly fun the combat is, it isn't enough to overcome such a heavy list of problems.
