    Keep in mind that you had more than 1 billions of turnover for selling CODBO.
    I don't think the money was used to make this game. Poor graphic, NO RANKED DEDICATED SERVER, no evolution for the gameplay, short solo, corridors maps only.     Fun game, the developers know their audience. After the departure of so many employees from Infinity Ward including the heads of the studio, I am sure I wasn't alone in wondering if this game would be able to reach the bar set by its predecessors. It may be fashionable to hate on this game, but if you enjoy the genre, if you finished MW2 wanting more, here it is. Multiplayer is moreFun game, the developers know their audience. Multiplayer is more balanced, single player has been ramped up in the ridiculousness, I like it much, much, more than I wanted to after the less than amicable split between the Activison and West/Zampella. After having played every COD game developed by IW since the original, I was certainly upset that the final chapter of the MW series wouldn't have many of the original guys working on it, but as much as I dislike Activision, they gave this game enough resources to do it justice. It was almost an "all hands on deck" situation it seems. As much as I detest the pace of the release schedule, they have earned a bit of respect from me for not dropping the ball on this game.… Expand

    Guys I Love Call of duty... U guys have been always the best( i always buy both Battlefield and COD, and stick with call) but u guys messed up. nothing new in this game. Good luck in a future ;)

    As a long time PFS and video game fanatic- the negative reviews on here are inscrutable and fishy to me personally. MW3 is an amazing game in all aspects .     This is the purest form of Modern Warfare. The one we've been waiting for. Here's why. First off it's smooth. Super smooth, a 60 frames per second makes this game look crystal clear. A little sharper graphics, that are tough to spot at first, but once you see the first car explode you will know exactly what I mean. Buildings collapse when you hit them with a missile from the chopper,This is the purest form of Modern Warfare. The one we've been waiting for. Here's why. First off it's smooth. Super smooth, a 60 frames per second makes this game look crystal clear. Buildings collapse when you hit them with a missile from the chopper, balconies collapse when you man the mini-gun. The water looks real, trees and grass blow as a storm approaches, and I actually stopped more than once to look around at the sky and the sunset. It was that beautiful. Bigger scale. MW was about a few guys in Russia, MW2 was about defending the eastern states in the U.S. MW3 is about the entire world under attack. And you feel it. Cool set pieces for firefights that are multi-level transitional. Not just where you've got guys on the second story (and stay there) and guys down low (and stay there) you've got people running up and down stairs using the environment. One time i saw an enemy running towards me, and I was thinking "what an idiot this dude's gonna get shot in the face, stupid A.I.," only to see him actually running up to a car, he opens the car door, and hides behind it! I was blown away. A beef i had with Black Ops was that sometimes it felt like a shooting gallery. You would walk forward it would "trigger" the enemy spawn, they line up in a row, and you kill 'em, and move on. But here i felt like there are people everywhere and all the time! And there's always this rushed feeling of progression, where if you try to camp and kill everybody someone yells, "C'mon we gotta keep moving!" So you didn't feel like you had to kill everyone, but that the mission was more important. A major improvement is the feel and sounds of the guns. They feel great, and I can't tell if it's extra vibration in the controller or what, but it's different. It's crisp. I love breach scenes. i swear I'd buy a game where all you do it breach every room. Now before you declare me a CoD fanboy, remember, this is all just the campaign I've been talking about! I haven't even touched the multiplayer or the special ops missions/survival. Those are what will ensure that you will never need to ditch the game just because the campaign is over. This game is loaded and if you can put aside the "it's cool to hate on modern warfare" fad that seems to be all the rage, you'll be blown away at this masterpiece. I love Modern Warfare 3 and I don't care who knows it. P.S. Airplane level FTW!… Expand

    All of you haters can gtfo. This is a solid game. Sure it doesn't revolutionize the genre the same way CoD 4 did, but it's still fantastic. The campaign mode is excellent, keeps you on your toes, and fun to watch the cinematic experience. The multiplayer is more accessible than EVER for noobs and vets alike (of which I have been BOTH), and Spec Ops is a lot of fun as well. The only co-opAll of you haters can gtfo.     I was waiting for BF3 and MW3 and bought both as they are 2 different beasts....MW3 delivers on the high octane action, great frame rate and superb multiplayer while BF3 is all about team work and warfare in large arenas with vehicle combat thrown in. DONT COMPARE THEM. MW3 excels with its levelling system for both Player and Weapons levelling and the community is the biggest on any otherI was waiting for BF3 and MW3 and bought both as they are 2 different beasts....MW3 delivers on the high octane action, great frame rate and superb multiplayer while BF3 is all about team work and warfare in large arenas with vehicle combat thrown in. Yes....the graphics aren't as good as BF3 but with multiplayer and epic single player set pieces, MW3's graphics are soon forgotten. MW3 seems to of past expectation in terms of game quality, but it is still the same recipe of fast paced shooting and a great multiplayer and single player experience. You know what they say.....if it aint broke......don't try fix it. I love BF3 but i don't review a game based on another, i review a game based on its experience and MW3 makes me sit down and lose hours in front of the TV which is why you buy a game, if it does this then it has succeeded in what the developers set out to do. Throw in the new elite service, which when its up and running (eventually) will be a spot on service wether or not you subscribe or use it as a free service. ill give MW3 a 9.5 out of 10 which i round off to 10. its exceptional and should not be missed.… Expand

GREAT mw2 was great this is a revised version , it had you all hooked and this one will as well. if you all moan its an expansion take a look at the fifa series , you all go and buy because you don't want old stuff you want new and this is the new MODERN WARFARE so go get it go play it and go and enjoy it !

    Great game. Anyone complaining about hit detection or lagging servers should upgrade their dial up internet. I'm not sure what people hope to achieve with a direct sequal, it's still modern warfare how much do people actually think guns have changed in the past two years. highly recommend to anyone who isn't using ancient internet.

    This is basically mw2.5 wait wait, but that is exactly what I wanted from mw3
    After black ops I was burnt and was wary about cod but the chance of more cod based on mw2 I'm in.
    The only issues I had was matchmaking at first but they have patched on the fly which I love. Cod elite is my problem and everyone else's but all been given 30 extra free subscription so I'm happy too wait.     This is the Call of Duty everyone loves to hate. Just because it is similar doesn't mean it is a bad game. There have been many, many improvements and it will keep many happy users busy for months upon months.

    I love it ! Its exactly what you expect after MW2. I only buy the IW Titles, and this one never let me down. My friends and i playing the MP for hours and its even more fun than the campaign. The only complain is, there is no Hans Zimmer music... Hope that MW4 will have Hans back!

    Best overall call of duty yet, online is great as well as the offline. Only complaint is that online maps are a bit small even in comapirson to others in the series.

    This game is awesomeness made flesh!!! The devs dont go back and tear the whole apart instead they build on what was a badass foundation and thats just the campaign mode. Multiplayer obviously is where this game truly shines! I think 9.3million SOLD DAY 1 speaks for it self. You can say fanboys,BF3, blah blah but in the words of ya boy Yo Gotti....NUMBERS DONT LIE!!!

    All Around great game. Solid Multiplayer, Campaign and Spec Ops Mode. Worth Your Money. The maps in multiplayer are great! There are a limited amount of "camp" spots and barely any head glitching spots. Definitely better than Black Ops.

    Multiplayer has been tweaked since the last game and is just as good as ever. It is not a complete reinvention of the series, but to be honest that isn't at all necessary when it plays this well. The perk system will have its fans and detractors; personally I like it however sometimes I do wonder if it rewards people that have invested time into the game slightly too much over someone who has just started playing. This is due to everything leveling up over time including weapons, weapon modifiers, perks, equipment ect. On the flip side it keeps you playing and it is not a requirement to prestiege once everything has been unlocked.

    Spec Ops is back once again and the new wave mode in the form of Spec ops survival, alongside missions that can be played both Co-Op and solo make this an awesome part of the game. I found that some of the missions were changed when I played them solo which was good as there are now leader-boards that allow you to track just how well you are doing vs the rest of the world.

    Campaign won't give any real surprises gameplay-wise if you have played a previous entry in the series, however as with the multiplayer mode why fix it if it ain't broke! The levels are quite engaging and I felt the characters had a little more to them this time around when compared with MW2. The inclusion of a few new weapons and some cool set pieces meant that I was happy to play through this to the end.

    Overall an amazing game that is easily worth your money!

    After buying BF3 a week ago I can see how the games are both very different, however I can't see why there is a need for BF3 fans to rant about how MW3 is a bad game. Both have areas where they excel over the other however in my personal opinion MW3's 60fps smooth gameplay, better visuals, inclusion of split screen co-op and online multiplayer, and survival mode are just some of the reasons I prefer it over BF3. I find the lack of vehicles to be a good thing and as someone that is not part of a large clan, the team based structure of BF3 can sometimes get annoying when I am matched with a bunch of Noobs against a clan of Vets. To everyone that has given this game a rating of 0..grow up, you may not like it but to deserve a 0 a game would have to be literally unplayable! rating a game out of 10 does not mean "Give 10 for good or 0 for not good"! In reality I would give this a 10 and BF3 an 8 (On PS3 as I believe BF3 performs slightly better on PC and could get more).    … Expand

This game was built and is superior to all other shooters of its kind. Embrace the love that is shown by everyone for this franchise and support MW3 and give it the ratings it deserves!

The single player's action experience is unrelenting you are thrown into one amazing action sequence after another.     Short and sweet.....Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is an AMAZING game. Both the single player and multiplayer are so much better than Battlefield 3 will ever be............ The game is very well done and is a BLAST to play.....LONG LIVE CALL OF DUTY!!!!!!!

    I honestly think it's the fanboy of Battlefield 3 that's writing the crappy reviews. First off I think the game is fun I just got done beating the campaign which i think is amazing. Multiplayer it's fun but challanging which if you love a good challange then i would recommend it.     It is dissapointed in MW3, I mean I dont feel the experience like when I play MW2 or Black Ops, Black Ops is my first choice tho..     Still as fun as ever. Campaign kept me up all night and it jumps right in from the end of modern warfare 2. Spec Ops a welcome addition back from modern warfare 2.

BLack Ops is like a walk in a park and with the change of a disc you will be thrown into a    Simply Great. This is the final product with all the tweaks the community has been asking for since CoD4.
    The tempo is very high, sometimes it is soo quiet and the next second the air is filled with enemy crafts which I this early in the game can´t take on (unless with a SAM Turret). BLack Ops is like a walk in a park and with the change of a disc you will be thrown into a marathon race, bullets coming from everywhere. There are a few places to hide -to few - u can´t really hide, maybe catch your breath and reload and if you are a camper shoot one or two enemies and that is if your lucky. The n00btube is a bit stronger than in BLOPS but far from annoying, rather perfect for this environment and tempo. The pointstreak system makes ppl finally go for objectives. The reasonable thing to buy for prestigetokens is Custom slots it seems, you have quite the arsenal to begin with and I have already gotten the Scar-L and Spas-12 thrown at me and gotten to choose from a vast amount of streaks once. And I am at lvl 10 now.

    Dunno what else to say, I am really happy I went with this one (cause I had my doubts about repeating the same old formula again). I hope I will still be at lvl 80. But so far this looks good - almost too good.    … Expand

    Lots of unfair reviews and ratings. MW3 is a great game with tons of new features. Great multiplayer experience, fun new game modes, point streaks, etc. survival mode is excellent and the single player is a nice wrap up to MW2.

    CoD Modern Warfare 3 is basically like Modern Warfare 2 but with a little bit better graphics and a the story continues. It's a great story and I really enjoyed it, so if you liked MW2 you should get MW3 too. It is much better than Black Ops! And what Ninja said is absolutely true. Never change a winning team! Anyway i bought this game & i have to say its the best game in a trilogy series. I enjoy playing it as it doesnt require me to buy another high-end PC. Although there's still some minor bugs that needs to fix which i know devs will do. AddingI cant believe some people here rate the game without buying / playing the game. First off I would like to state that I am not a COD Fan Boy and not a little kid, I'm a hardcore gamer that has been playing games since the early nineties. I play all manner of games on PC and PS3 and have also bought MW3's main competitor BF3. I have played about 30 hours on BF3's Multiplayer and have a 3.30 Kill/Death Ratio so am no noob when it comes to FPS. Even so I was disappointed with the overall products of both Battlefied 3 (which got boring faster than expected) and MW3. In the end I scored MW3 8 out of 10. It is very similar to MW2 but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The Singleplayer was OK, similar to the last two Modern Warfare's (overall uneventfull and boring with only some good bits) Spec Ops Missions are fun and exciting, especially if you have a friend to play them with and Spec Ops New Survival Mode is great addictive fun and a good addition to the series, I would say, and this is just my opinion that this is better than Zombies (playing with a mic is essential). Than you have Multiplayer which love it or hate it is pretty much the same as MW2 but with Strike Pakages, different killstreaks and different variations on old perks, some new guns and some new maps and game modes. Noob tubing, Nuke Killstreak and One Man Army Perk are gone but Quikscoping and Drop Shoting are still the order of the day. Also Spawn Deaths, Hit Detaction and Lag Issues can become a bit annoying. But with a half Decent Connection, a bit of skill and a touch of class you should be able to overcome these shotcomings to have one of the sweetest FPS Online Gaming experiences you can have at this time. I won't lie somtimes the multiplayer can have you screaming at the TV about the injustice of the last 5 Cheap deaths that made no sense whatsoever. But with a bit of patience even without the Elite Functions you get to know the layout of the maps, the spawn points, choke points, best class layouts for specific situations and maps. You will receive better weapons and figure out which strike package work best for you, and then your experience will start getting better. And to everyone saying COD is unbalanced that's BS, because there is a strategy and counter for everything your adversaries can throw at you. So after everything is said and done what it really comes down to is skill (and who has more of it). Overall, taken all the features packed into this one game and the weeks and possibly months of enjoyment that can be had, it's impossible for me to see how this game can receive a score below an 8 let alone a 5. If your a fan of FPS or games in general this a great addition to your game collection. Definately not MW2 DLC, and for only $50 to $100 are you that poor/cheap to complain about purchasing a great game and depriving yourself of fun just because a bunch of pathetic PC BF3 Fanboy Sheep/Followers decided to flood this site with negative reviews.     A lot of people love to hate successful things, call of duty games being one of them. This isn't a deviation from what made MW1 and 2 great - those looking for something different won't find it here. Those who enjoy call of duty will enjoy this, simple, those who don't enjoy call of duty will still purchase the game and write a bad review.

    This is **** fun y is everyone hating, people don't what massive change like look what happened to black ops! It was too different and people starting to play mw2 more than black ops and mw3 just brings back the great memories of mw2 but 10 times better.

    Great game. Very addictive and fun to play. There's no other game on market that is this action packed. I just love this game. If you have to choose between MW3 and BF3 I highly recommend you to choose MW3.

    Of course, the SP experience is the same as always, but what do you expect? Everyone wants Bigger, better, bad ass and that's what we get. The multiplayer is the best in the series and will keep me a long time handcuffed to my xbox.

    The history of the single player is very good and unfortunately as short as 2.
    The multiplayer is as good as the two with a lot of new additions that are pretty nice.
    The few new mode of play is very nice.

    So yes I will go on Metacritic, so I'm going to put a 20/20 to make it back, and yes I agree with activision because their game was really under rated by the players!
    Why?

    Today by criticizing something that millions of people admire became a fashion.

    First of all, THIS game is excellent! The aiming is spot-on and the gameplay is just as fast paced as it has always been. There's no problem with running around and having random objects pop in out of nowhere. Many improvements have been made to the gameplay as well, along with some new features that I haven't seen before.     MW3 is the best one yet, and is a fitting end to the Modern Warfare storyline. Nevermind the blatant negative reviews, this game is a step above Black Ops and is even slightly better than MW2. The funny thing is that the people here that are rating the title as zero are the one who are still playing the game and loving every min of it.

    Anywho, the game is great, the story mode has a satisfying finish (Won't spoil it) and multiplayer plays similar to Modern warfare but isnt exactly the same, its hard to explain. Survival mode is a blast, a friend and I played it for HOURS and playing on multiplayer maps does make it more fun while also giving a chance to learn them. SpecOps missions are a HUGE improvement over MW2, I can easily say that every single one of them has replayability.

    All in all, its a game you should try, if you dont like it, return it, dont listen to people who say its "the same game" or "omg no new content". Last time I check a brand new mode, a new campaign, a load of new specOps missions and a revamped multiplayer with new weapons, different types of killstreaks, new guns and 15+ new maps sounds more than just "DLC worthy"    … Expand

    OK, graphics are outdated. OK, the campaign is ultra short (but effective). But the multi is everything a MW fan is looking for: addictive, challenging and fun. Nothing new in this MW 2.5 but enough to be the game of the year in this category. It doesn't deserve a 10 but it doesn't deserve a score under 5...so it's a 10 to level up the score.

I am proud to say that I spend money on buying this game and it has been one of the most amazing experiences i've had while playing videogames. On the PC version you can simply edit your FOV, and do lots of other things. The game has an amazing campaign that literally takes you days to beat! Oh and the spawn system is definately something to behold. The spawns NEVER shift so you are always out of way from your enemy and therefor are not spawn killed on the instant you appear back into the map. Overall, this game is the best I have ever seen and I would rate it 10/10 anyday! Totally worth 60 bucks. Hell I would have even paid 200 for this bad boy.… Expand

Every year, we the consumers, address certain aspects of the game we don't like, and then the CoD developers tweak those things.

    But to say that this game is just a patched version of MW2 is ridiculous. The developers once again addressed many of the concerns we had with MW2. No game ending killstreak, no last stand, tweak the guns so not one individual gun stands out as overpowered. Which i think they did a great job with since I do not see an overwhelming amount of people running around with just one gun (even in Black Ops damn near everyone used a FAMAS or the AK-74u). Now to address the argument that nothing "innovative" or "new" has been offered.... First of all Sledgehammer and IW have offered us two new game types in multiplayer, something that hasn't been done since CoD 4. Now Kill Confirmed is my new favorite game to play. The strike package system is an awesome ADDITION, which helps reward those players who like to take objectives and shoot down air support (something that also has never been done in a Call of Duty game). Many argue that Call of Duty is just a run-and-gun lone wolf type of game, but then, if that were true, why wouldn't every game type just be Free for All? Sledgehammer really did their best to address this issue, and I for one love using all of the Pointstreak tiers. To me giving this game a score of "0" is nonsense. It seems to me that the average score of 2.7 is the product of a biased sample. While the majority of us are off enjoying and playing the game, some disgruntled individuals are on here complaining and it seems to get worse every year.

    PS3 scores for every CoD since CoD4:
    CoD4 Modern Warfare: 8.7
    CoD World at War: 7.1 CoD Modern Warfare 2: 5.8
    CoD Black Ops: 5.6 CoD Modern Warfare 3: 2.7

    Every year in my opinion, the games are getting gradually better, but the scores just seem to be getting worse... Modern Warfare 3 is the best in the series yet, and the majority of these metacritic reviews are reactionary and inflammatory. Give the game a shot and if you don't like it, give it an honest review, with a honest score and then trade the game back in or use it as a coffee coaster.    … Expand

Of course it is a little unrealistic how often you defy death, but that is what makes it so fun! The spec ops is phenomenal, particularly survival. 16 levels of chaos to play through - gotta love it.     Online matching seems to have improved the ping times in matched games, new perks, maps, same gameplay you have enjoyed with the series which is a good thing. Note that MP is faster paced than games like BF due to smaller maps, and lastly kill confirmed is a great new game mode.

    So! 3 days ago my copy of MW3 arrived, in 3 days I completed the campaign for first time on recruit so I could see how the story developed and then again on Veteran for the challenge. A fps where you shoot everything that moves in the campaign before going online to complain to your friends about how many drop shotters, quick scopers and campers there are (something that is not the fault of IF). The issue with all these negative reviews is the player - not the game! You cannot order a CoD game that follows the CoD format and then complain about it - what were you expecting??     I don't get all the negative user reviews. Is every employee at EA required to log in and trash this game before going home for the weekend?
    I am more interested in the Campaign's story with these games than with Multiplayer - so based on that, this game was worth the price.     Story-wise, MW3 finishes out the trilogy well enough. I didn't find the story as epic as MW2 (D.C. and White House), but MW3 did have improved graphics and some great level design (Paris). In MW3, the graphics are better and I don't know how else to explain it, but shooting felt heavier, or grittier.
    MW3 does feel like MW2, and it's supposed to. I think a lot of peoples problem with the game is actually that they have finished out the major story line. In MW1 & 2 they were setting up a great story with twists and WTF-moments, but in MW3 they chose to tie up loose ends and end the trilogy. So MW3 doesn't have the cliff hanger ending of MW1 & 2. So what. Just give me a new trilogy (MW 4,5,6) and a Black Ops 2 or spin off.    … Expand

    The multiplayer has been refined to the limit. All the people complaining about new features need to grow up. Just because this game doesn't feature new pro-pro-pro perks and is fair and that you are now forced to run around and leave your lonely corner. Just because you cant shoot people in 2 bullets and because your were amazing at a game that was unbalanced, and you suck now, means you need to adapt.

    Besides my rant on the ranters, I would like to point out that the new Survival mode is a TREAT. It needs refinement in the future, but it is a terrific start to an amazing mode. It definitely challenges Zombies mode, and in my opinion beats it in terms of fun.

    Lets face it. Waves are better than rounds.

    Modern Warfare 3 has an unbelievable multiplayer, Spec-Ops, and Survival mode. Campaign is weak, but is a great addition.

    In the past, we used to buy games for a decent multiplayer. Now, I buy Call of Duty for a great multiplayer and a decent campaign.

    Presentation: 9.5/10

    OR People who "loved" the Characters will never see them again. This is STUPIDITY. It is not a sequel to "Call of Duty" Generally, but to "Modern Warfare" series.. The graphics are GREAT.. But BattleFAILED's new Engine -Frostbite 2- made it a bad Graphically game?
    Robert Bowling said this "We have no time to create a new engine to fit the game.. so we have to work on the previous one" We will be insane people if we compared MW3's -or any Modern Warfare's"- campaign to BF3 -or any BF-... Self-evident MW win.. but we can stil compare the "Graphics" which make Battlefailed 3 "a good" game.
    We can compare their Multiplaye Mod as well.. they both have excellent multiplayer.. BUT.. there's no Spec OPS in BF3.. so Battlefailed "3" beats MW3 because of the Graphics.. That's **** !!!!

Prior to buying this game I did buy (and I do own) Battlefield 3. [You see when you are not a child dependent on your parents income to buy your entertainment, you can buy both games and actually "really" play them on day 1] So after buying into EA's deceptive great marketing ploy I was so convinced B3 would be a great game, even coming from a COD fan. I think competition is healthy and I am willing to play whatever is good, as simple as that. B3 looked so good to begin with, then the beta left a bad taste in my mouth and left me wondering was it all just hype? I changed my mind from instant buy to maybe. Then the reviews came out and declared it a good game, all the bugs had been fixed, the game had been balanced and polished. True it has, but really what I still discovered is that mostly the game is hype and the reviews seem to be generously giving it higher scores than deserved. In short I'll be honest and straight to the point. Although B3 is just an alright title, it is nothing to write home about. I find it to be a bit dull and boring, the controls are nice but not as tight as a Modern Warfare title, and the graphics (console versions) are actually ugly. A majority of the gaming community worldwide play games on consoles, this is how the majority experience their games, and sadly the majority will experience some suckage. I would even say on consoles (I'm playing on PS3) that it doesn't even look better than Modern Warfare 2. I'm having a hard time having fun with it and after the jet level where you take off from the aircraft carrier I haven't picked up and continued from there yet.

    Now I am on Modern Warfare 3 and this game is gorgeous, the controls are tight, it is fast paced, and the most important thing is that it is fun and entertaining. A step above B3 in every department. To say it is just recycled whatever from Modern Warfare 2 is an ignorant claim and statement to make, it is not. People are just trying to make a case to give reason to hate this game. No one complains about Halo, Gears of War, Uncharted, GTA, and a plethora of hundreds of other good games recycling engines, but when COD does it, it is bad. If it isn't broke why fix it? Just tweak it to make it better, which is exactly what was done. Right from the start being in the first (Manhattan) level and going through the city streets and into the NYSE it looked downright gorgeous. I never seen any of those buildings, set pieces, debris and furniture rendered in other COD games before, so how is it recycled? Just ignorant talk is all. Going right into the second level breaching a submarine and surfacing up on the NYC coastline again this game looks amazing.

    The honest reason why people have so much time to bash this game for is because their game B3 already came out, they played it and found it boring just as I did, but they don't want to say it or show it. So instead of spending time to play their game they substitute hitting review sites, and bringing the score way down and constitute that as having a good time instead. Well have fun doing that, this game will probably go on to be the number 1 selling video game of all-time with or without your 0's. I laugh at you and I laugh at your stupidity. So mind boggling how stupid people can be really, all I can hope for is God coming down to end the world sooner rather than later, because mankind needs help, fast!

    multiplayer is the best in series so you can finish the story mode in 5 hours and go for multiplayer ! but you have my word , you can't finish multiplayer even in 500 hours ! it's Call Of Duty ! there is no need to say every part is at it's best like maps , perks , modes , weapon customize ...
    at last i can say there are many games out there but there are a few perfect games so don't spend 60 $ for the first game you'll see in the markets !

    This is the best Cod to date.I've played all the cods and this one shines in both MP and campaign.MP has the best map design and is very balanced and thank god there is no more Nuke this time around there is a M.O.A.B which is pretty much a Nuke but does not end the game.The Campaign is awesome. Yes is is very Michele Bay but that were all the fun is 10/10

    This is the best call of duty of the series ! Buy IT ! They add alot of new stuff like Survival Mode and 2 new multiplayer mode like Kill Confirmed and Base Defender . This game is very similar to mw2 but we like it ! This is very very very much better than black ops . If you like MW&MW2 you will like the MW3 .

But for what it is meant to be, MW3 is bloody brilliant! And It is the familiarity that makes it so, you know what you are getting into, you are already good at it, and with all the new players coming over to the game you will have plenty of noobs to pick on in multiplayer and plenty of veterans to give you a tough time. You can complain all you want, and technically BF3 my even be the better game, but as far as instantly accessible, raucous, addictive, long lasting and uncomplicated joy goes, MW3 and in fact the entire MW series wins hands down. What makes it worth the 60 bucks entry fee is the fact that one year later you will still be playing it, prestiging the hell out of your avatar and getting your adrenaline rush as and when you need it. Add to that an epic story executed like a summer block buster that actually makes you give a damn about the character you are supposed to be even if its so short that it serves primarily as a training camp for your MP exploits is a recipe for success that Activision well know how to whip together. I got the hardened edition and all connectivity issues aside, and despite the fact that theres a boat load of great titles coming out alongside MW3, i know i got my money's worth because this will be the only game i will still be playing next november when another COD game comes out. No offense to anyone, this really is a matter of personal preference but instead of dissing the game try to see it as what it was meant to be.… Expand

    There are many deefrents beetwen call of duty and battlefield.In battlefield you have bigger maps and more people.In cod you have smaller maps.Cod multiplayer is faster than battlefield so this is the reason why i love cod.

    The BF3 fanboys are the one's fueling the war between the two games and dragging MW3 down. The best way to make your game look better is to throw off on the competition. This score is based on 3,000 people, what about the other million that's playing everyday, oh yeah they are too busy playing a good game, MW3, to come here and rate it.

    There's a tangible insistence from gamers that this series needs to evolve, but it seems unwarranted when it still leads the FPS class. The engine's definitely in need of an overhaul, but when it comes to thumping set-pieces and addictive multiplayer design, Modern Warfare 3 is still in a league of its own.
