    The updated visuals and cutscenes from the trailer made this look like a must buy since I never played the original. Turns out, the trailer cutscenes aren't what the game actually offers. What Ubisoft bs is this!? And then the original game is replaced by this one, which does not allow modded levels, player created levels? Really dumb. Can't recommend.

    False advertising, 100%. I got it for free and I feel ripped off. Beta was bad, launch is even worse. Riddled with bugs, a lack of those "upgraded cutscenes" from the pre-release trailer, and new lawyerspeak for "we own all your custom mapmaking". What a **** joke of one of my favorite teenage pastimes.

There are no ladders. There are no chat commands. There are rampant bugs. Custom campaigns are currently absent. Custom content is now the exclusive property of Blizzard. The list goes on. There is literally no reason to play this game over the original unless you like the new visual design which, for most, isn't even an objective improvement.

    This is the first hard pass of the year. Let the utter failure of this game serve as a lesson to those who still think pre-ordering is an okay practice. You are helping cases like this proliferate. Stop it. And stop supporting Blizzard.    … Expand

    I don't care about memes, I care that it's literally unplayable and it's been four days. I cannot believe how incomprehensibly bad this is and I've played the beta for six months. Shocking, shameful. I will never support blizzard again. I stuck through all the drama because of my love for Classic, but this is it for me. Done. 21 years of support gone.

    Lying about "reforged" cutscenes, the 2018 blizzcon trailer is NOTHING like the finished product. No new UI like promised, connectivity issues, removing custom games, REMOVING the old WC3 :(.

    Waiting for my refund. You better give me my money back. Will never pre-order again. Could never believe they would F-up this bad....

    This game is downright FRAUD. Most of the advertised features are not present, it barely works and they even made the classic version worse in retrospect.

    Blizzard has no respect for it's fans anymore and I will happily join any class-action lawsuit over this insult of a game.

    Remember all the challenge and enjoyment you got from the original Warcraft series? Yep, that's all gone. Play a game that looks like it barely runs on any computer with resolution greater than 800x600. With a GIANT UI that uses 20% of your screen real estate and the ability to zoom out maybe 4%, you'll regret buying a video card or a monitor bigger than 13".

False advertisement, unfinished product, the complete destruction of the old W3TFT client, a lot of the features that made this game great were discarded, buggy and sometimes unplayable even on a PC with great specifications. This is probably the worst revamp of any game ever made. A clear spit in the fact for a loyal fanbase that has stuck to this game for over 2 decades. The increasingly totalitarian manner, CCP-inspired way which Blizzard displays pretty much shows that these corpohoes have lost contact with reality and think they can get away with this. Refund this game. If they refuse, insist. If they still refuse and you are a citizen of a country with strong pro-consumer laws, don't hesitate to sue the hell out of them. It is high-time that Blizzard and Activision become accountable for their deeds and total disrespect for their customers. And if possible, stop buying products from them.… Expand

    Ok, esperei o lançamento desse jogo desde que foi anunciado, estou decepcionado com a Blizzard, uma empresa que era referência no mercado(como a CD Project Red) agora é um lixo completo! O jogo está com a performance pior que muito jogo pesado do mercado(tipo Deux Ex Mankind Divided) isso tendo gráficos de 2008 e inconsistências nos modelos.

    There should be an award for **** up a game from 18 years ago and being so much about "profit" that the game feels like it's been cut down halfway into the development. Riddled with poor performance, bugs and looking like Frankenstein with some parts looking good and some not, the game is a disgrace to Blizzard's legacy and proves just how far they have fallen.

    It's an unplayable mess. I attempted to play the campaign and was met with gamebreaking bugs on the first mission. I then tried multiplayer, only to be constantly disconnected. Luckily, I was able to refund it. Shame on you Blizzard for releasing this garbage.

    I love my custom games. Tower Defense was a stuttery mess. The game didn't even get optimizations. The higher poly models only accounted for more stress on the old game engine.

    This game is basiclally the same game but with "better" graphics. Expect the graphics are not noticably better and they intruduced a lot of bugs. There are no improvements other than the graphics. And even that isn't worth the money.

    Massively disappointed in this game. It's a downgrade and there's so much false marketing. While the characters are nice, those don't carry the game in any way. This is not a "Re-Master" it's a De-Master. Shame on Blizzard, they've managed to taint one of the greatest RTS games of all time and alienate some of their oldest/loyalist fans. I will NEVER pre-purchase a Blizzard product again.

    2. Very poorly optimized.
    3. Content creators lose their rights to their map creations.
    4. Lot of missing features that the original game had.
    5. They merged the original game into the reforged, so people are not able to play the original game anymore.

    Just bring back the original pls and I will install my Battle.net again, SC2 is dead, War3 is dead, Diablo is well dead, WoW is not my thing so...
    I do have phone Blizzard but I am a PC gamer, always has been until you go back to the OG Blizzard you have lost me as a customer.
    Until then I will play my pirated versions of Diablo2, SC, and War3 (FT) cheers ^^

I love WC3, I've played a ton in my highschool days, and after that i would come back and replayed the campaigns once a year or so. So i was super hype to go back and replay it again, but with better graphics, better cutscenes and all of that, that was advertised by blizzard in 2018 Blizzcon. But ... I can't, the game is so buggy that I can;t finish prologue, many options , both UI and grpa hics are missing (U can't make keybinds in 2020 WTF, and there are no settings for shadows). The game is a **** joke, and a slap in the face to any fan of WC3… Expand

    Sadly this is a bad remake of Warcraft. Lots wrong with it but here’s the two major issues for me:

    Graphics: They could have done so much and they did so little. Design and models are really inconsistent and out of place. Did some research and it seems they outsourced the new design of the game to Asia, guess Blizzard doesn’t have the chops to make beautiful video games anymore.     Lockdown on creative work:
    Custom multiplayer games were some of the best parts of WC3. They really legally locked down the creative freedom and the ownership of that work which is unfortunate for custom creative multiplier games that could have made online more fun.    … Expand

    A mix of broken promises due to cut costs and outsourcing (no remastered cutscenes) as well as corporate greed. Activision does not just want plenty of the money but ALL of the money

    I just wish I could had that old Blizzard, in 2016 when it released Overwatch. From there to now, they've ruined themselves just to get money. Now, this is what you get, a 0, since you abandoned Overwatch.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
