    Complete bait and switch between 2018 and 2020, all to soak up preorders from loyal fans for a game that the creators knew was a misrepresentation. This is a disgrace, further evidence that Activision ruined Blizzard.

Местами(и слишком часто) новая графика хуже оригинальной 18 летней давности. 9. Новые детализированные модели чудовищно смотрятся с мультяшным лоуполи    Это не remaster а demaster

    7. Новый графон - вырвиглаз.
    8. Местами(и слишком часто) новая графика хуже оригинальной 18 летней давности.
    9. Новые детализированные модели чудовищно смотрятся с мультяшным лоуполи окружением.
    10. Бой теперь гораздо хуже читается, все прогеймеры единогласно отказываются играть с новым графоном.
    11. Полностью убиты кастомки(новым лицензионным соглашением и копирайтом).
    12. Изменена легендарная русская локализация на гораздо более хуевую, зато с орком-подкастером
    13. Нет обещанной на анонсе переделки. роликов(самый сок - обещание до сих пор висит на странице покупки).
    14. Единственная новая цг катсцена, бой иллидана с Артасом, выглядит хуже, чем фанатские работы
    15. Нет обещанной переделки сюжета.
    16. Больше нельзя убивать детей. Даже когда по сюжету устраиваешь бойню нежитью, должен их обходить.
    17. Убрали ламповые 3д задники в меню и заменили на хуевое бездушное 2д(Выяснили, что это полностью web-приложение на Хроме, от того и лагает как гавно, потому что работает на одном ядре и хавает память, поэтому на заднике на ламповое игровое 3Д а какой-то флеш или браузерное видео.)
    18. Уебищный интерфейс на треть экрана
    19. Классический вк3 удален из магазина, его владельцам теперь доступен только рефорж, но без новой графики. При этом, ты все равно должен скачать все 30 гигов.
    20. Заготовка под донатные скины в мультиплеере.
    21. В оригинале, по непонятной причине, удалили некоторые меметичные фразы у персонажей. Например, "Im wasted" у дриады.
    22. Для смены хоткеев надо редактировать текстовый файл в папке игры. Причём тебе об этом сообщают прямо в настройках игры и даже заботливо говорят путь.
    23. Графика переключается только из меню(это не норма для ремастеров).
    24. Освещение, эмбиент оклюжен не завезли.
    25. Сглаживание вообще не завезли. Опцию что включай, что выключай - толку нет.
    26. В варкрафте без ремастера убрали в настройках возможность включать тени, они есть только в ремастере.    … Expand

    First they took from me ROC section. I played it for years (didn’t like TFT that much). Then being forced I switched to TFT. Then they took from me TFT. So I bought Reforged (along with new computer in order to play it). And I ended up with NOTHING. They killed the legend. My beloved Warcraft 3 game, the legendary RTS of all time, the ONLY video game I played for years. Sad time. FeelingFirst they took from me ROC section. I played it for years (didn’t like TFT that much). Then being forced I switched to TFT. Then they took from me TFT. So I bought Reforged (along with new computer in order to play it).     Can't play in classic normally because of Reforged, 9 years ago i maked models for custom maps, the Hive Workshop be my second home and now all our content is not viable. I just...it' all looks like a bad joke a very bad joke :(

    Bought the game as it released, having never played wc3 but always loved the lore. So I thought, what a great opportunity to see all the lore first hand.

    I'll be honest to say even for the lore you're just better off watching Youtube videos for free rather than wasting your time and money on this abomination.

    Un robo, gracias que Activision por arruinar la compañía que tanto cariño le tenía. El juego en sí no es nada de lo que prometieron en la blizzcon de su anuncio. Tiene malas animaciones, su doblaje al latino es horrendo, y ni siquiera le dieron cariño a los mapas. W3 reforged no es un remake debería ser nombrado como un remaster. Mal ahí en comprarle reforged.

    I don't get it. They only needed to changed some graphics and cutscene. How did Blizzard messed that up? From low performance, crashes, removal of previous features, bricking the classic owners and many more.

    I was really looking forward to this game, cuz I never got to play the original version. However, I loved watching all the youtube videos about this game. Sadly it looks like ill never get to experience the game as it was in its prime. Sad they won't get my $30 or so......

    A **** game that shouldn't have never been remade. The only redeeming quality was the prospect of new custom games, but it looks like Blizzard killed any motivation of developers with their greedy ownership model for player created mods.

    I was very spectating about WC3R. But, first mission = instant defeat bug, no keybinding in year 2020, bad GTX optimization, "plastic" 3D models. ¿Where are the promissed cinematics? ¿And graphics upgrades?... This is not a Reforged, its a reskin... well, a demo of a WarCraft III Reskin.

    The game has gotten alot worse overall due to the removal of functions. Both on the new version and the old.

    The remaster graphics quality is not in line at with what was promised. The new added content that was promised is nowhere to be found. Missing cutscenes that where suppose to have been added on the remaster is no where to be found.     Steaming pile of horse **** Made me lose hope of the future of games made by Blizzard and this "remake" trapmples on all of the fond memories and friendships that I and many of my peers made while playing this game. To add salt to the wound, they even make maps created by unique individuals become Blizzard property. Nice lol

I preordered this game and what they showed on their reveal in 2018. is a completely different game than the one we got in 2020. The cutscenes look way worse, the FPS is terrible and many other features were cut.

    I first bought this game because i was eager to get back into Wc3 custom games again, my internet is not the best and i suffer from microDC's which does not agree with the old clients network coding i presume. Being able to play online in    Warcraft 3: Reforged is a complete disgrace to the classic games of ROC and TFT. The issues are a plenty, and the game is not worth it at this state.
    I first bought this game because i was eager to get back into Wc3 custom games again, my internet is not the best and i suffer from microDC's which does not agree with the old clients network coding i presume. Being able to play online in Starcraft 2(for example) made my hopes rise that they would rewrite and improve on the issues from the old game.
    But now, my experience with this was worse than the old, i couldnt even join a lobby before getting back to the starting screen, much less host my own lobby!

    Also not being able to play with the old client anymore, this bringing the issues of the new client upon players who never bought the new game makes me lose any hope of ever getting to play this game again even if i do it on a more stable internet connection    … Expand

    Broken Promises, buggy on release. everything seemed to be the same from the original warcraft 3. nothing seems to be different apart from a few cutscenes. overall a disappointing game that I would not recommend even for nostalgia purposes.

    None of that would matter to me, I had no intention of ever buying a cash grab remake/remaster such as this. Despite my intention, Blizzard had other ideas. I bought the original Warcraft III 17 years ago and I still play it from time to time because it's one of my favorite games ever. Blizzard decided that not only should the poor unfortunate souls that purchased Reforged suffer from it's unacceptable mediocrity, but those of us that own the original should as well.

    Blizzard patched the original copies of the game with a 25GB patch to add in all the "new models and textures", shut down the old game's online services, and somehow added in all the terrible bugs from the new version. Blizzard more or less stole from me a game I bought 17 years ago in a sad attempt to cash grab people who still play the original. Now if I want to enjoy my Warcraft 3 I must do so online only for single player, no classic custom maps in multiplayer, and bugs galore. It's insane why anyone thought this would be a good idea.

    So this is my review of a patch for a 17 year old game that has made it almost unplayable. I hope you crash and burn soon Blizzard, watching what you've become makes me so very sad.    … Expand

    Warcraft 3 was the best game for me! I loved Blizzard and dreamed to work for them and create nice games like Diablo or Warcraft. Now... i Hate Activision Blizzard. I am so disappointed and sad... What have u done to us!

    Что мы получили
    -Новые модельки персонажей и зданий - сделаны модельки хорошо, мб и не совпадают немного со стилем Варкрафт, но выглядят они нормально
    -Перерисованы карты - видно что трава теперь не просто нарисована на поверхности, но разницы особо не видно
    -Новые баги и ужасная оптимизация(было у меня) - автопоражение при старте миссии компании, иногда не прогружается меню после миссии, просадки фпс, микрофризы... но народ расписывает довольно большой список проблем
    -Ужасная анимация и эффекты - волны будто школьник рисовал, некоторые персонажи время от времени начинают дергаться, некоторые эффекты способностей почти не видно
    -Новая озвучка - в принципе норм, только компенсатором звукарям ещё надо научиться работать, для мода сойдет, но не для многомиллиардной компании
    -Возможность переключения между озвучками..... отсутствует
    -Карта компании.....отсутствует
    -Изменения компании - компанию ещё не прошёл, но ничего нового не увидел.
    -Классический клиент стал рефорджем - зачем? и ведь он не просто стал больше, из него вырезали Локальный Скирмиш, часть сетевой составляющей, убрали СТАРУЮ озвучку, и испортили визуал
    -Катсцены и синематики.....отсутствует
    -Новое пользовательское соглашение - я не картодел, так что хз

    Итог:
    А что собственно делали в Blizzard эти 2 года? Модельки мы увидели ещё в 2018, пару карт тоже!
    И всё? Получается что вы за 2 года после анонса нарисовали пару картинок, заказали у аутсорсеров модельки, запихнули это всё в обертку и просто стригли бабло с предзаказов?
    Да вы даже не отменённые обещания не все выполнили, я уже не говорю про то что вы якобы отменили, хотя все знают что вы НЕ ЗАХОТЕЛИ делать!
    И что это за многотысячный фидбек от игроков, который заставляет компанию не работать? это вон те 900 человек, которые поставили плюсик? М.б. не надо валить всё на игроков? М.б. надо признаться что вы обосрались и пустить игру на доработку? Сделать то что вы обещали, а не эту пародию на какой-то итог работы, точнее её отсутствия

    Отписку от 3-его февраля так вообще считаю за оскорбление, "нам жаль что вам не понравилось", лучше ничего не пишите, вот честно, просто закройте доступ к игре и верните всем бабло, только время поможет людям забыть этот ваш позор    … Expand

    Between the false advertising with the 4 hours of cinematic and updated UI, the missing features from the original, and the forced update to the original that removed functionality I'm just disgusted with this release. Blizzard did it right with Starcraft Remastered. Something is very wrong with the Reforging process apparently.

    L’interface et le menu est beuggé. Je ne peux toujours pas jouer aux custom maps que j'ai faites et qui sont ouvrable dans l'éditeur.
    Bref un scandale, je vais rester sur la version classique finalement.

Well, I should say this remaster or remake whatever you wanna call it, was absolute trash in terms of art direction, sound, technical issues, gameplay features, and so forth. Good going Blizzard you ruined your own masterpiece.

    This is total junkware. It's a thinly veiled power grab, designed more to facilitate Blizzard's acquisition of other peoples' hard work on mods, but the actual work they put into making the game better is next to nothing. Do not support Activision Blizzard. Starve them out of their unethical, greedy, anti-democracy tailspin. Or if they won't wake up, let them go out of business.

    From someone who played Warcraft 3 for more than 10 years, this "remaster" is a complete atrocity, as it not only fails to poison the well of what made Warcraft 3 great, it has ruined the original game for everyone who still played it. This is actually worse than patch 1.7, and I never thought I'd say that.

    As pointed out already, nothing like they said it would be. For me, the game hard crashes my system (a very rare thing for me) and most of the ingame cutscenes are a blank screen. Another sad day in the history of Blizzard. How far they have fallen.

I imagine they had already outsourced the character models so it was a matter of sticking that in the game and there was just no budget to add any of the other promised upgrades like cutscenes, etc. Nothing to see here, move along.… Expand

    A user score of 0.8 tells it all (i have never seen anything rated so extremely low).
    Blizzard promised a whole lot when they announced Warcraft III: Reforged and delivered on almost none of those promises.
    And to top it all off, except the character design, everything that they changed is for the worse...

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
