    This game is so pointless that it is hard to put a finger on it. It contains so many broken promises and missing features. Though the graphic is higher resolution it does not look better than original Warcraft III graphic and in many cases I believe it looks actually worse.     This is what happens when a greedy corporate crap factory buys out a much beloved gaming studio. Everything is a let down. The UI is about as enjoyable as a haircut by Sweeny Todd. I would probably have more fun throwing dried dog turds at my friends. Blizzard has once again proven they are out to become the next Bethesda.     I grew up with this game and had an amassing experience in high-school (2003-2007). I preorder it last year and was ready to have some great matches with my friends and revisit the story..but guess what? It's full of bugs and misses a lot of old features. No new UI. No new cutscenes. Bugs bugs bugs.

    Blizzard, get your **** together and fix this mess!

    I adored them as a kid but now they continue to just make me disappointed and angry.
    It feels like they are only trying for a quick cash grab instead of making games that set the industry standard like they used to do.
    This remaster is a joke, overall a downgrade, at least I got a refund...

    Truly a disappointment. There was a time when Blizzard was unstoppable; all of their games top-notch. Now I'm hard pressed to ever want to spend money on this company again.

    Poor cutscence. Greedy policy with map-modder. A lot of lags and bugs.
    This game is deserved to be called the disaster.

    Everything that could have gone wrong, did. Blizzard really exceeded our expectations on how truly embarrassing how far a development studio could fall. Many promises left unfulfilled. Deceptive marketing and lying. No refund policy. Cherry on top, fans like myself can't even enjoy the Original anymore with how it is integrated. Never before has something deserved a 0 quite like this one.

    I loved you Blizzard and somehow I still want to believe in you. You had everything as long as your work force was free to create as they wanted. Their motivation was insane, they were able to produce fast and efficiently thanks to this. Since you lost that (thanks Activision), your motivation is gone, you're not able to produce as fast as you once was, and struggle so much to finish a project that you remove a ton of features to release "something". I don't know if you can get your motivation back somehow. Even retrieving your freedom might not do the trick. Failures after failures, your motivation probably went down and down and I wonder if your workforce is not deeply broken by now.

    So Blizzard actually broke a game that was all fine before. Unplayable campaign that crashing all the time, but I got this game only for custom games and they banning all ly favourite ones lol. Everything is laggy and it's not working like it supposed to be a game realesed in 2020.

    i cant play classic warcraft 3 because of a black screen bug. I was never interested in reforged because it doesnt look as good as the original but i was forced to update my classic warcraft 3 which was working perfectly. A lot of people are having the same issue but blizzard are not resonding at all.

    I have no idea how these people can get away with this. False advertising at its best! To use an analogy is like buying sushi but then you open the bag at home and is a whole lot of chicken!     I didn't have faith in the product to begin with yet I'm utterly disappointed to have been beyond right.
    It's even worse because although I didn't pre-order the game, Blizzard has still removed my ability to legitimately play the original game which I paid for by removing access to the original Warcraft 3 from the launcher. This is an unprecedented failure in gaming history and even if issues are resolved (including accessibility to classic Warcraft 3) it should not have taken a backlash such as this to make Blizzard attentive of the issues.

    Warcraft 3 is a beloved classic in gaming culture, and was the reason for World of Warcraft having the success it did.     Not only was nearly everything we were promised lies. But they actually managed to downgrade the original with more restrictions on custom maps, among all sorts of bugs.

    Want to just go back to the original? Sorry! Activision thought it would be nice if they forcibly downgraded every copy of the original game into this.

About 3 minutes in, I go into options to change a few things. Once I close the menu, I am greeted by a defeat screen. I lost a singleplayer mission while paused... okay, moving on. Replayed it fine,How did this get cleared for release? It is utterly broken, to the point it is obvious upon playing it. After a loading screen, I once again lost. Without even playing the game. Promptly uninstalled and refunded. Want a good game? Play the original.     Thing is, I paid for Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne, and sadly I paid for Reforged back in 2018. So I expect to be able to keep both games. I did not want a merged platform. I wanted a separate gaming experience so that in the event that Reforged does not deliver, I can always revert back and still enjoy the original game.

    I am young, 17 but when I was just a kid my dad played the original warcraft 3. This was the first ever game I played!

    So many memories ruined by this reformed edition of warcraft 3.
    It is buggy, I can barely keep a constant framerates. The graphics are still horrible. People always spam horrendous messages in global chat

    Its sad great gaming company fallen so low in few year because of activion blizzard.
    Not much faith for Diablo 2 remake and Diablo 4...

    Sound was absolutely destroyed. As a russian player, for me localization was worsened, all these memories are gone. For an excuse, Blizzard totally changed localization, due to campaign changes (which had not changed at all)
    Gameplay changes, now everything got to TFT balance (even first campagns of ROC) which is not ok..
    No UI overhaul, no cinematics overhaul (4 hours of remastered cinematics, huh), nothing.
    Multiplayer has no ladder, it is absolutely pointless.
    Battle.net is a joke. There are no profile, no clans, global chat was worsened.
    Campaign was the last hope. Blizzard promised that they would change it to WoW canons, standarts. They promised some retcons. And there are no changes.
    Custom games, oh. Should I talk about them? Of course, Blizzard made new game-editor. BUT, they changed EULA that allows them to own every custom map, gamemode. Modders can't add any 3rd party custom models. This, no doubts, discourages all desire from modders.
    Some people report huge amounts of technical difficulties, bugs, lags, fps drops.

    Even though, Blizzard killed 3 games in one. Reforged, ROC and TFT.
    Now if you had a classic W3, you must download the all-new Reforged Warcraft. All your old, downloaded custom games will be gone. And even after that, you can't play your, 18 years old game, because all servers of classis W3 are dead, custom games are dead. And some players report that they can't play classic W3, they must buy Reforged to play classic.

    This is one of worst thing that happen in game field. The take my classic version of warcraft 3 to something much worse and I can not back to previous one. They cut off many battlenet feature from classic, co now playing online is really frustraiting. Next thing is dubbing, they make new one but I hate it and after my classis was updated I cant switch back to voices and sound that i like.This is one of worst thing that happen in game field.     Heck because of Blizzards idiotic progressive agenda you cannot create a lobby for a certain Blizzard created map. This map in question is named Booty Bay, its one of the old classics created by Blizzard themselves, but because Booty is, for some odd reason, considered offensive, you cannot host a game for Blizzard's own map...

    The meniu is slow and clunky. Also and this is a big gripe, as an RTS fan you cannot change your building hotkeys. This is unacceptable, every civilized RTS game lets you remap the hotkeys to your own personal needs, even the remake of Starcraft, but WC3 only lets you change the layout.

    .While I do have to give credit where credit is due and say that the unit models are gorgeous even these are mired as sometimes the old assets can load. And, apart from the unit models, the textures for the terrain or even for some map assets such as trees, look somehow worse in Reforged.

    And now we come to the really egregious stuff. The game under delivered on what it promised. The in game cut-scenes are just a slightly prettier re-do of WC3 and in no way what was promised and show at Blizzcon 2018, with way better animated and fleshed out cut-scenes.

    This is a gross example of false advertisement + bait and switch, and its even worse given that the Blizzcon 2018 cinematics are still on Blizzard's site but nowhere to be found in the game.

    Blizzard is also blatantly anti-consumer with its refund policy. If you have started the game you cannot refund it, simple as that, despite the game being broken and full of bugs. As far as I am aware this goes against the refund policy of most countries where you get a grace period to try a product and if you don't like it you can refund it. Heck, industry leader Valve lets you try a game for 2 hours and then refund it.

    And last but not least there is the abusive terms and conditions for creating custom maps where, you as a creator and user waive away all your rights to any custom map you create through Blizzard tool. Last time I checked if you buy Adobe Photoshop you have full rights to what you create through it and Adobe has no rights to your creations, why does Blizzard think its different/superior.

    Oh and I was about to forget, you no longer have access to the classical Warcraft 3 online, Blizzard migrated all of it to Warcraft Reforged, meaning all the online problems you have in reforged you have in the old game, thereby destroying 2 games with 1 move, a first in gaming.

    Overall do not, buy, the game is just not worth it in its current state, and the company itself has proven it does not care about user experience, it only cares about making money at your expense.    … Expand

Was very excited when I saw it's going to be "remastered" but deep inside I thought to my self how can you remaster a masterpiece..,
    Needless to say as I watched the beta coming, I saw it's going to be a downfall. All the greatness witch is wc3 replaced by soulless characters, all the favorite heroes looked stupid , the units look stupid, the buildings looked over animated and less real, nothing seems to blend right on the map, in fights you couldn't understand anything, just a big mass.
    And they actually release the game like that!!! It's an outrage, 0 respect to the original and the community. So here you go blizzard just for this you get a big fat 0.
    This without mentioning all the great custom games and other thing they removed, so if I could rate it -10 I would , and I'm not alone here.
    I'll finish with a quote of a little stupid girl because it's that stupid!!!
    Blizzard... "HOW DARE YOU!!!! , YOU TOOK MY CHILDHOOD AWAY"

    The announcement of a remaster of a beloved and classic game. Pretty forgotten genre, but still generally liked. All the promises about newer UI, cinematics, animations and other improvements. Hype is real. There is no way this can go even remotely bad.

    And then Blizzard released this abomination.

    The map editor exclusive right, the false advertising, and missing features that were promised must i go on. is a cheap skin pack nothing more i would have gladly spent my $40 on stuff for Star Wars the Old Republic or Elder Scrolls Online over this is a heartbeat had i know this was what i was buying. It is worse then Fallout 76 in my honest opinion!!

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
