    Another great games company ruined by greed, Blizzard are falling down a very bad hole if they keep pleasing their investors and not their community!!

    You were able to make AAA games at High quality before and make a ton of money so why change your tactics now, If blizzard keeps this up it will be the end of the company then what are your investors going to think?!?!

    The thing that angers me most is that the store pages for the WC3 RoC & TFT (Classic, 2002/2003) are pulled down.
    Essentially deleted, this ""remaster"" replacing them. But- for a long list of reasons -its done so much worse than what we had.
    Acting like the past 17 years never existed doesn't feel very good, does it?

    After playing Warcraft 3: Reforged, I've been able to see a lot of both the good and the bad of the remake. I'm gonna try to break down the goods/bads of this game.

    Pros: - Very nice re-mastered models, cinematics, maps, etc. - Nostalgia - Battle.Net support (you can invite your friends to play with you) Cons: - Poorly optimized - Game bugs (I've been kicked out of games for    After playing Warcraft 3: Reforged, I've been able to see a lot of both the good and the bad of the remake.     Im an owner of the original Warcraft 3 with frozen throne, this "reforged" is a half baked game, brings nothing new to the table instead removes things from the original, owners of the original Warcraft 3 like myself are forced to play this mess or pirate the game, this does not looks like a 40 bucks game .

    The end of match summary is completely butchered and doesn't tell you useful info, the old client is gone, even if you don't own reforged you're forced into replacing it if you ever connect to bnet, custom maps now have a report button so blizzard can ban maps and ban people hosting them and finally, remember that this was delayed before release

    The Game does not meet the standard shown by previous Blizzard Games. The Star Craft remake was leaps and bounds better than this. Poorly made, poor customer service and false advertising.

    This is the biggest letdown I have ever experienced in gaming. I was very hopeful that the game I have such fond memories of would be "reforged" and come out better than ever. Instead I received the worst possible outcome. They REMOVED features from the original, and didn't add anything new in to replace those lost features. This isn't a full game, it's a shell of a a game.

    If I know then what I know now, I would not have brought it. So I uninstalled it and my other blizzard games and moved on. I only remember the good time playing it. Live and learn I guess.

    In the artistic part you have to create or update new cinematics such as the trailer, improve the gameplay, I have read the professional WC3 player 'Happy', the complaint is that the graphic section is very confusing colors are very difficult to distinguish and the mobility of the mouse is slow to professional gamers of wc3, I hope they fix it.

    You can't play through the campaign without a restart, you get autodefeats after a few campaign missions. Cinematics are barely improved but they introduced micro stutters to them. With a mid-range videocard the fps goes all over the place during game. If that's not enough even the menu lags!

    Bilzzard FXXXED my nostalgia! when i was 15, i played Warcraft 3. It was first Warcraft franchise i ever met, and impressed their story and characters. And "Reforged"? What they were forged? It just ruined "game" what was borrowed franchise name, Warcraft.

If you want a good RTS play Age of Empires.     I am genuinely happy for the very, very, very few people that have managed to find something enjoyable about this travesty, but Reforged is a genuine insult to everyone who has ever played a video game- the ABSOLUTE least Activision (not Blizz, as they have proven they don't exist as anything beyond a corporate tag) deserves in return is a slightly mean review.
    I was able to get my refund by promising legal repercussions, so that might work for you as well. If it doesn't, then whenever the inevitable class-action lawsuit pops up, you'll be able to join with visible evidence.    … Expand

    The biggest insult of the decade! The ONLY job Blizzard had was to reskin the game. And they completely failed at it! Light effects are awful, color team are almost non existent, terrains look like the 90s.

    And apart from that, not a single feature has been added. Most good features from the old game are now not available anymore. Definitely worth your money!

    I was really hoping for the success of this game. It brings back fond memories. I was tempted to preorder but since the way games are delivered unfinished these days, I haven't pre-ordered anything. This is one of those games that I would overlook that but lucky I waited to read the reviews. Horrible. Game looks the same, unless you scroll in.

    The Blizzard we once loved is long and gone.

    I didn't wait 18 years to get this crap. I received the refund already, and will continue playing with my old copy of Warcraft III (I still have my old physical version so at least they were not able to remove that from my hands).

    Trying to take advantage of people's nostalgia with a huge cash grab attempt and refusing to refund after Dishonouring their loyalty of sticking with them through the years is unforgivable. Promises were not delivered and game is utterly trash.

    I don't recommend buying it and if you did don't forget to refund as this degenerated version of warcraft 3 shouldn't be allowed to exist or supported in the first place. You can just hope that future patches make it atleast enjoyable for the remaining 100 players.
    I am searching for a private server to play old TFT again as custom maps are anyway blizzards property now and    Very bad.

    They took a wonderful game and just ruined it .The original cutscenes are better in any way you can do a full game comparison and see how good the old game was.

    If you followed the trailers, the press announcements from Blizzcon, the advertisement on its website, be prepared to very disappointed. Also not even for that, good luck trying to run the game smoothly. Plus, with Blizzard trying to not incentivize custom game creation by trying to claim ownership over the communities hard work, I fear the spirit of WC3 won't captured in this game.

    Very disappointed with this game. Now I know, I know, I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. But with it being blizzard, I genuinely had hope that this would be at least everything we saw for the announcements and demos. Nope. This is literally wc3 classic with even worse models(they're just upscaled originals). The game definitely looks sharper... But in a bad way. It reminds. Me of circaVery disappointed with this game. Now I know, I know, I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. But with it being blizzard, I genuinely had hope that this would be at least everything we saw for the announcements and demos. Nope. Me of circa 2010 graphics where machines could run at higher resolutions, but the developers already had the games mostly done and upscaled models. This is exactly like that, but worse. I'd rather have gotten a real remake and paid $60, rather than $30 for the exact same game that barely runs without crashing. Or better yet, wc4.     I had never played warcraft 3 before until I decided to buy it before the release of Classic WoW (I wanted to experience the original story before the mmo). So, when I heard the news that they were remastering it, I felt that gave me another good reason to effectively pre-order a game. After playing the original Warcraft 3 and jumping into Reforged, i was beyond disappointed. It wasI had never played warcraft 3 before until I decided to buy it before the release of Classic WoW (I wanted to experience the original story before the mmo). So, when I heard the news that they were remastering it, I felt that gave me another good reason to effectively pre-order a game. After playing the original Warcraft 3 and jumping into Reforged, i was beyond disappointed. It was another Blizzard launch with connectivity issue, I couldn't get into versus games with my friends. The "remastered" graphics of the environments seemed radioactive compared to the new player models. The UI was effectively the same, good for its time but too clunky for 2020 and a slap in the face from what they promised. The intro cinematic was incredible seeing the remastered version of the old cinematic was amazing. The fact that the remaining cinematics were not remastered was jarring but forgivable because they were not necessarily promised. I tried to get a refund but customer support has effectively ignored my request. Knowing the history of this game and how custom games make you lose your "moral right" to custom games this game is a garbage re-do with less features than it's non-"reforged" version. I cant support what activision has done to blizzard. I havent pre-ordered shadowlands and now I certainly will not buy it.… Expand

    Ужасная игра...Вот знаете,это наверно многие говорят,но все же, такое чувство что сделали новые модельки и просто интегрировали карты из классики в рефордж,только все сие стоит 1300 рублей,разрабатывалось 2 года и преподносится будто шедевр,как мерзко...     This "upgrade" managed to ruin a completely functional, amazing game. Even if you didn't spend the money on Reforged, base WC3 is now practically unplayable. I've never heard of anything like this in gaming and this is the only product I've ever encountered that genuinely deserves a 0 score.

    Sold Blizzard Activision stock (ticker ATVI) as well as my gaming-related ETFs and asked my family to do the same based on not only their support of the Chinese Communist Party but on this disastrous remake. Blizzard has lost its way and they will only change if they take a financial hit.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
