    Столько времени на разработку и в итоге абсолютно сломанный релиз, сломанная установка и сломанный интерфейс. Да как так, Близзард??? А зачем было менять озвучку в классическом Варкрафте? Очевидно ведь, что люди, которые не купили Reforged, ссали на него и на все нововведения, и просто хотят играть в обычный старый Варкрафт. Какой смысл менять божественную старую озвучку на новую абсолютноСтолько времени на разработку и в итоге абсолютно сломанный релиз, сломанная установка и сломанный интерфейс. Да как так, Близзард???     This is the first video game I have ever had to return. It was unplayable on a computer that met game's requirements. I'm 34 years old and have been deep into Blizzard games since I was 11 so I was really looking forward to this release and wanted to enjoy it- I prepaid within 24 hours of preorders opening and waited the 13+ months. Wish it had been worth waiting for.

    While the game does not have many of the features initially advertised, it was made known and circulated fairly widely what features were being cut. There may have been some slick marketing gimmicks with the presentation that all the cut scenes would be redone in a movie like fashion, that was never stated.

    I have not run into any of the game breaking errors that other users are reporting and I am happy to have the game that I recall so fondly brought forward and visualized. I do hope that they bring some of that promised content into the game eventually, as DLC packs or something.

    My personal experience of the game so far would honestly be a 10, but i do acknowledge that people are unhappy and that blizzard should have made the complete state of the game, what was included and what was cut etc, public before release so people could request refunds or at least temper their expectations.

    Communication is key, and this is what i hope blizzard takes out of this. Give some of the features that were cut as free updates to people who purchased the game, and going forward just communicate with the players!    … Expand

    EA managed to mess up a billion dollar IP, but even they realized where they went wrong and now battlefront 2 is amazing.

    Blizzard took an 18 year old game and downright broke it, I can't even play it due to terrible servers(which were fine before) and just seems like a greedy end of fiscal year cash grab. For shame blizzard, for shame.

    Las unidades se ven bien, pero nada mas todo lo demás igual ni la música remasteeizaron las cinematicas y los mapas son iguales tampoco hay shaders que valgan la pena. el juego es una estafa por que blizzard prometio las cinematicas nuevas (entre otras cosas) y ni siquiera se dignaron a colocar la que promocionaron en la blizcon 2018, directamente un engaño.

    I remember playing WC3 8 yeas ago at internet cafe. Back then every single one played it. When I heard that blizzard was gonna remake it, i knew immediately according to every games of them, this was gonna be a very success game. I bought it and i regret.

It is a shame the new idea is to claim the efforts of others on the creation of the custom games, re-make and keep the games at should like on starcraft re-make. A true game would have more than a blatant cash grab on an already existing game

    I love blizzard I am a huge fan but they can’t make something like this I have huge standards for blizz and they haven’t been showing us those standards recently so because of that I will give them a bad rating so they can hopefully learn. lets hope Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 can set them in the right Direction!

Simply an act of greed over creativity. Not allowing people to get a refund once they launch the game. What happen to the blizzard we used to know.

I'm not trying to jump on the bandwagon of boycotting Blizzard although I do agree that what they have done recently is some of the worst marketing and decision making I've ever seen. WC3:Reforged is just... Well it's terrible to say the least. The animations are clunky, the units are almost unrecognizable and they feel rushed and uninspiring. we were promised voice acting, brand new cinematics, a downright beautiful game. what we got was an unpolished, rushed, buggy, unoptimized game that feels more like a cash grab than an a remaster. If this is the standard that Blizzard is holding themselves to, then I am deeply concerned for their future games like Diablo 4 and any attempts to possibly "remaster" Diablo 2. This is such a shame. I'd be more upset but honestly I'm just disappointed.… Expand

    This game has broken my experience with the original Warcraft 3.
    I've pulled my game mods as best I can and advise Activision Blizzard that I have not agreed to your new EULA and I own the registered and unregistered copyrights and trademarks my works.

    When this game can ruin the experience of a classic game, then the company needs to make the proper adjustments to correct this error.

    Blizzard made some of my very first PC games, and I have supported them even throughout the last few years, dispite some of their questionable decisions. I was definitely right to worry about Activision ruining this once amazing company. This game is just one of the many indicators that they no longer have the same passion for producing the quality content they used to make.     Blizzard contracted all of the art work to an offshore third party company, and while those art assets are definitely well done (weeell, for the most part, there're some very weird portraits...) and high poly, they feel a little generic (for me, a lot of them don't really feel like Warcraft).     Blizzard contracted all of the art work to an offshore third party company, and while those art assets are definitely well done (weeell, for the most part, there're some very weird portraits...) and high poly, they feel a little generic (for me, a lot of them don't really feel like Warcraft). And even with all of that said, this is probably the best this game has to offer. While majority of models do look good and are well mode, for me they don't really fit in the terrain, the terrain feels really flat and honestly ugly in comparison, It doesn't feel like the units belong to the world they're walking in. In that same vein, for me it feels like the units and most buildings don't fit together either.

    None of the above warrant a 0 score, of course, what does is all the rest. Besides the updated graphics, which are very inconsistent as I mentioned previously, everything else they did for Reforged is just...bad. Amateurish.

    - The menus look like something from the 90s, are sluggish, overlap on top of each other in weird ways.
    - Lighting is off, some units' skin or cloth like hoods, etc, have a metallic reflection to them which is very off putting.
    - They've *removed* several features that existed in classic: clans, custom campaigns, automated tournaments, ladder, offline play, and I'm probably forgetting something.
    - What's worse! Even if you didn't purchase the game, you're still forced to download the 25Gb patch that removes all those features. They've essentially downgraded their 2002 game for all of the loyal fans that still played it and hadn't even bouth Reforged.
    - Even worse is the graphical quality of the classic game has also degraded, whether you have purchase reforged or only own the classic game.
    - When they announced the game they said they were giving back to the community, but then we had 1 year of complete silence, only to have a 45min panel at Blizzcon 2019 saying they were removing the majority of promissed new features (though they never mentioned they were also removing existing features...)
    - Among the promised and then removed features: reforged CGIs, reforged cutscenes for the campaign, redesigned levels - this last one they at least did *some* of them.

    From that last bullet, I wanna point out that the whole development cycle of this game was extremelly frustrating for the fans. Honestly, one of the messiest game releases I've watched closely. No communication, a bunch of broken promises, absolutely ZERO polish, taking away existing features from a great game, ZERO heart put into it. I won't even say they made the bare minimum to get this out, they made way less than bare minimum.

    This game was a trevesty. Something that had such great potential. Something that could have revitalized one of the greatest games I've ever played. And it turned out this was just a quick cash grab, preying on all the fools that had fond memories of a time when Blizzard actually put out games because they liked games.

    I'm very certain this was the last time I've given my money to this trash company.    … Expand

I love this game. The campaign, the custom maps, the LAN parties that I still do with my family. The characters, the voices, the aesthetic. Everything about this game is enjoyable and has been for for the last 17 - 18 years.
    When I was reading the news of the terrible release of this game, I felt bad for the people who purchased it. I felt glad that I waited and that I could still enjoy playing classic Warcraft III until this game got fixed before making the purchase myself.
    I went to jump on classic the other day to have a game against my brother in LAN only to find I needed to update the game. When it finally loaded I saw that the game had been updated to integrate Reforged into it. I thought the two games were going to be separate and it never occurred to me that the classic version would actually be affected in any way by the remastered version. I can still play classic Starcraft for example, despite the remastered version being out there.
    It has completely changed the feel of the game for me. I find it ugly to look at and difficult to play. It's still classic...but a hollow version of classic. If I wanted to experience any of the Reforged updates, I would have purchased the game. Now I feel like the very existence of this game has ruined the experience of the classic game I actually enjoy playing.

    If this gets fixed, and they somehow make them two separate games again rather than sharing the same main page, I will update the score and review the game on its own merits. Until that happens, though, and as long as it is actually affecting the enjoyment of a game I can't even load anymore, I am keeping this score low.    … Expand

    The game was buggy didn’t even load matchmaking.... no ladder matches or ranked... no new cutscenes as they promised.... no new ui..... they used the same textures as the first one..... and to top it all off it’s 30$.... I refunded it as soon as I found out because I was searching the forums since it wasn’t letting me play it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is a sham and complete ridicule of what was shown at Blizzcon 2018.

    Cutscenes. The main event. The one thing that kept players in anticipation, was utterly disappointing. The gameplay cutscenes shown in 2018 were light years away from what was in the actual game. Nothing was improved - I rather play the old version and I will be more than satisfied than this complete farce of a product.

    The reforged version comes with so many bugs and glitches, and forces players to agree to a new EULA agreement, which gives Blizzard complete copyright on every content and mod created.

    All the hype on the reforged version's graphics is lies - while textures are somewhat 'enhanced', the overall visuals just feels half-done, a complete vomit show, and just reeks of laziness and lack of passion. It feels like something got glued together on top of the 2002 version for a quick cash grab.

    Please, do not buy this, especially if you own the old WC3; it will overwrite the old one and you will never be able to play custom games such as DOTA and what not as Blizzard will complete copyright over them. AVOID THIS GAME.    … Expand

    Blizzard unfinished a game that was working for 17 years. This game at best is worth $10, however, it is filled with bugs and is unplayable right now. I recommend getting Age of Empire 2: Definitive Edition for $10.

    I literally had to create an account to express my utter disappointment in this "remaster" of my childhood treasure. This GARBAGE that Activision made (rip Blizzard post WotLK) is beyond words. This game is so buggy and horrible when it comes to optimization. I literally CAN'T EVEN PLAY THE CAMPAIGN without issues (I didn't even try other features yet nor will I). This game RESETS MY PCI literally had to create an account to express my utter disappointment in this "remaster" of my childhood treasure. This GARBAGE that Activision made (rip Blizzard post WotLK) is beyond words. This game is so buggy and horrible when it comes to optimization. If all the negativity Blizzard receives for all of its recent content (which has all been nothing short of disappointment) perhaps they will reevaluate what we as the consumers actually desire. The appealing of shareholders won't last if you can't sell anything and your brand gets dragged through the dirt. Hopefully these continuousThis remake will hopefully be a blessing in disguise.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
