    Ever since blizzard has acquired activation their qualities of games sunk down the hell and it’s unfixable. I was so pumped to preorder the WC3 reforged and wanted to play with friends like back in the old days but what I’ve got is worse than the original game that we spent thousands of hours on. Keeps crashing and what blizzard had promised in 2018 was no where found. Garbage.     Horrible game. The original was a staple for my childhood, and I even have all of the disks, but this.. This is just terrible. For a game made in 2018+, the graphics are old, the audio is meh, and what we were told is not what we got. I'd say i'd like a refund, but activision doesn't do that. 0/10, very very disappointed.

    I preordered the game and already played it. To be honest, it is a rerelease of the beta or better said alpha. In custom games people have weird join bugs or you sometimes can't even create an own game. It's a buggy mess! Custom games are laggy which is caused by the game. In addition, there is no ladder or statistics management like on starcraft II which was actually a promised feature.I preordered the game and already played it.     Blizzard took everything people wanted and asked for, threw that all away, and imposed new draconian policies and tried erasing the past. This is the worst "remaster" ever made, bar none, and a sign that Blizzard is no longer a top tier developer nor consumer friendly. Avoid at all cost.

    Tout simplement le meilleur RTS Fantasy ! Ici revisité avec des modèles de personnages et des décors beaucoup plus fins. Et toujours cet univers et ce scénario extrêmement immersifs, bien supérieur à ce qui se fait habituellement dans ce type de jeu. Des fonctionnalités manquent encore au lancement du jeu mais seront sans doute apportées dans les toutes prochaines semaines. En tous casTout simplement le meilleur RTS Fantasy ! Ici revisité avec des modèles de personnages et des décors beaucoup plus fins. Et toujours cet univers et ce scénario extrêmement immersifs, bien supérieur à ce qui se fait habituellement dans ce type de jeu. This game is horrible in every sense of the word, it looks better but only acceptable for a game that was released 3 years after the original, nothing is what I expected it to be, everything is much much worse what I expected for the worst-case scenario, graphics, sound, mechanics, everything. They even removed features. I understand the excuse of not working on mechanics because of nostalgia but that excuse is unforgivable. The mechanics were horrible because it was a game from 18years ago and back then the game was awesome for its time but not for the current time. with this game Blizzard has basically announced that they don’t care even for their most hardcore fans anymore. This company fired people who were passionate about the games and what they did and now rules over the developers like they are slaves asking them unbelievable expectations and at the same time providing nothing to fans. all they care about is money, there is no redemption for them, even if they work on the game and make it better. They a large number of experienced developers to work on this game enough time and a huge budge as a lot of people bought the game when it was announced including myself. First they ruined WoW multiple times, then Overwatch died rather quickly, then they basically sided with a communist country by baning a person for asking for liberation, then this....… Expand

From someone who nearly flunked out of high school for SC:BW and Diablo 2, to someone who has uninstalled the blizzard launcher because the only game you have in your library that is any good hit it's prime in 2008. If a remake of your studio’s crowning achievement can get the lowest rating in metacritic’s entire history, and it’s not enough to wake you up from the tantalizing scents of chinese currency and totalitarian oppression (of which you’ve shown recently to casual customers and diehard fans of your brand alike) - then you are truly lost as a business and as a definitive creative force in the gaming industry. My advice is to pull the game that you falsely advertised and refund everyone: then pool your countless funds and resources into either creating a from-scratch remake (with re-done cinematics and actual gameplay improvements; not just a reskin) or an actual big-budget sequel to the RTS Warcraft games. You would probably not profit from doing so, but it would at the very least help to retain your reputation and show that you actually care - God knows you need that about right now.… Expand

    The game wasn't the same as the trailer, the graphic was even worse than the predecessor, and very buggy and has unstable latency. The T&C was a scam that's basically made to stole money from fan-made mods.

Trying to scrape together something "good enough" to keep the customers paying    Warcraft III: Reforged is a terrible "upgrade" from the original. It was falsely advertised and follows the trend of corporate greed that's been coming from Activision-Blizzard of late.

    It's clear that the billions this company makes is going into the higher-ups pockets and not into development or budget. Trying to scrape together something "good enough" to keep the customers paying seems to be the best Blizzard aims for these days. This is not a product of the old Blizzard who cared about polish and delivering an amazing experience to their customers.

    They also killed the old battle net integration that the classic game had so you NEED to install this new "upgrade" just to play. When you do, they also made everything from "Custom" mode Blizzard property... So no more fun there.

    There have been reports of firings, layoffs, and even re-posting of these same positions online with lower pay and higher demands. Full time employees have Uber stickers on their cars in the parking lot because Blizzard refuses to raise wages. All while the insane profits from this company obviously are NOT going into development.

    I have been playing the original Warcraft 3 for over 15 years, so my expectations for Reforged were - at the BARE MINIMUM - that it would be at least as good as the original in terms of gameplay and enjoyability.

    Why I give this a 0: - broken, buggy launch - they BROKE THE ORIGINAL GAME! bundling reforged up with the original means that everything wrong with reforged now reflects on    I have been playing the original Warcraft 3 for over 15 years, so my expectations for Reforged were - at the BARE MINIMUM - that it would be at least as good as the original in terms of gameplay and enjoyability.

    Why I give this a 0:

    - broken, buggy launch
    - they BROKE THE ORIGINAL GAME! bundling reforged up with the original means that everything wrong with reforged now reflects on the original game. This is unacceptable
    - servers are horrible and many games are unplayable; people keep dropping during lobbies and desynching in games
    - the new UI, especially the online one for multiplayer, is atrocious. They went with a **** StarCraft 2 style which makes you just want to get into a game as soon as possible, there is no enjoying a lounge in a channel anymore
    - despite all tjose bugs and bad design decisions, the worst thing is their new policy on custom maps. The only reasom wc3 became.popular in the first place

    Blizzard is no longer the same company that made WC3. They are so incompetent that they can't even remake a 20 YEAR OLD GAME. That THEY made. This is a total disgrace.

    This company needs to go the way of the Dodo and make room for new studios who actually care about their consumers    … Expand

    I bought this game as a huge fan of the original - The quality doesn't even come close to Starcraft Reforged. There are no new cinematics, poor quality cut scenes... not even the character models for the heroes look anywhere as good as shown at Blizzcon... I mean damn, I expected more from Blizzard.

    I'm totally done with Blizzard, I quit WoW a year ago and I had a thought of giving a shot at Shadowlands, but NO. Never again buying any of their games. No Diablo 4, nothing. Feeling so cheated and "laughed" at by their reaction.

    I couldn't even imagine Blizzard doing something this horrible to my childhood game. It was still on my best games ever list, and now it's gone.
    I remember forcing my parents to get an Internet subscription because I was online so much playing Wc3, their phone bill was massive... And now... It's replaced by this terrible mess...

    Even just on the campaign mode, this game STILL managed to massively under deliver on what was promised. All the cutscene are exactly the same, with just slightly updated character models..."4 hours of reshot cutscenes" is a blatant lie. Just watch the video comparing the demo from Blizzcon 2018 to the actual game

    Played a few days and didn't expect anything.
    Worked normally for me except some lags.
    This is still the same warcraft with better graphic, but with some interface problems and optimization.
    Hope that Blizzard will fix it.

    I quite literally cannot play this game anymore. Fixing custom lobbies/host commands was bless. But deleting the game? I'll be praying for Blizzard to undo the damage. It's super easy to do, please, I beg, I need my Tree Tag.

    I was looking forward to this, but after seeing what they did and the features they took away from the original, it swayed me away. Then I find out they did the same thing to the old warcraft 3! This was by far one of my favorite games to play. Way to destroy the player base in just a couple of days. Years of hard work and fun gaming sessions is completely gone.

    graphics of the heroes, units, and creeps are spectacularly better than the old version of the game and bring it into modern times. As can be seen there are lots of stubborn idiots that would rather play an older version of the game rather than move forward and allow Blizzard some leeway to fix any performance related issues.

    -Blizzard managed to unfinish a game that has been finished for 17 years.
    -Custom Map mode(s) could save the game for TD lovers (like myself) if bnet lag spikes improve
    -Very upset that old WC3 multiplayer got merged to a ****
    -Expected much more from the cinamatics and UI improvments

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
