    This game made promises it didn't keep. False advertising and a lack of refunds. This amounts to fraud in my opinion. A classic bait and switch. What happened to this company? This game is in an arguably worse state than it was 18 years ago. How does that even happen?

Not only that, but it has literally killed the original, for if you were so unfortunate as to have actually enjoyed the original WCIII, and had the original game on your computer, it forces you to update (even if you didn't buy the reforged version).     As everyone is very aware this game not only was sold on lies, it also massacred the 17 year old version of the game by removing features and content. Many lists out there of features removed not just from "reforged" but also from classic WC3. Removing Dryad voice lines, removing LAN (like wtf seriously?) etc etc.

    This game did not at all live up to expectations. I'm a long time Blizzard fan and after what they have pulled the last couple of years, this is the last straw. They do not deserve any more of my support.

    La verdad esperaba que el contenido que vendieron en la blizzcon lo dieran a relucir en este año 2020 pero la sorpresa fue grande cuando no lo cumplieron nada solo trajeron BUGS, MALA conexión de partidas los gráficos de army men (todo pegado). en fin solo queda esperar con que sorpresas saldrán ahora como ser diablo 4 o overw.

    What happened blizzard? I want to enjoy your games and the universes you make with them. This game doesn't deliver what was promised and tarnishes the original by adding broken features. The saying is under promise and over deliver. This is the opposite, and it's not hard to see why people are upset. Games with a history like this need to be treated with more respect than this got.

    Big disappointment. Did not delivered what was promised and it is bug fest of a game. Barely anything has been improved. Same cutscenes, same UI and bad models animations.

    When they released a game that does not have anything that was promised and end up removing people's paid for copies of another game from there accounts is just wrong. Them also saying they own all rights to custom games just because they are afraid of losing a game like DotA again is insane. Some people have spent hearsmaking these games we have come to love and are the lifeblood of wc3.

Instead they make it look a TINY bit better and gut a ton of features all while ruining the original game by taking away the option to play it the old way. Total bait and switch.     I am fan of warcraft. I've played warcraft 1 and 2 on the pentium 2 and playstation one.
    I've played warcraft 3 company about 10 times, and played custom maps for about 10 years.
    I've played wow for 3 years. I went to the cinema for warcraft movie (That was not bad, but worse than i'd expected. But what is your wc3 reforged? Looks like a spit on my face!

After browsing the web, i discovered that im apparently the only one thinking this, so i spent 3 hours looking at different reviews, videos, comments etc, to see all the terrible gameplay/features i missed, whilst playing.
    I see now, that me and everyone else had some VERY different    I made an account to give my opinion, based on the 15 hours i played by now, which i so far enjoyed. After browsing the web, i discovered that im apparently the only one thinking this, so i spent 3 hours looking at different reviews, videos, comments etc, to see all the terrible gameplay/features i missed, whilst playing.
    I see now, that me and everyone else had some VERY different expectations for this game.
    When i bought this game, i expected the same game that i loved playing growing up, but now with nice looking HD-graphics, running nicely in 1080p. They achieved that, whilst keeping the "old-feel" intact, so i can relive my nostalgia that i have for the old game.
    My setup is an old 960 GTX 4GB, with an I5 - 4670k CPU, with 8GBs of ram, and it runs smoothly, whilst having 2 monitors active.
    Why "only" an 8/10 then? I encountered a few things.
    The ingame overlay/connection to battle.net, seems.. odd. It works very well in WoW, STC2, Diablo, HS, OW etc, but here? not so much. I hope they improve that, in a future patch.
    A few odd moments when launching the next mission, where it would send me back to the title screen.
    They could add an error message, when you try to create a custom game, and the name of your game has been taken by someone else :D It took me a good while to realize, what was going on.
    All in all: Not perfect, but pretty good!

    To defend Blizzard a little bit.. Some people are saying stuff like:" an utter disaster", "terrible product", "Blizzards fall from grace", "full of bugs and chrashes", which i completely disagree with, based on my own playthrough. But i guees it depends on your expectations, which apparently can differ alot. This is NOT a new Warcraft, its an HD-remake of the old one.    … Expand

    WC3 custom games made my childhood. I have many memories of lan party games that lasted for countless hours. To see them destroy the remake, kill the original, and 9mm down all the custom games and creators is UNFORGIVABLE. The idea of watching another apology at blizcon is to much. It's becoming a tradition .

    -Графика и общее представление сцен в кампании хуже чем в 2018 на близконе.
    -Рейтинговых игр нет
    -ФПС скачет как чумной
    -Игра периодически вылетает
    -Кланов нет
    По факту в игре нету даже того, что было в 2002 году. Можно, конечно, оправдываться что отдел разработки/саппорта/перерисовки классических игр маленький и не успевает, но сроки компания ставила себе сама. Да и ценник у игры(Покупал расширенную версию) вполне себе как у полноценной новой.

    То что есть на сейчас тянет на уровень ранней беты.
    Чего на самом деле ожидали:
    -Перерисованных роликов(Сначала говрили что это будет, потом что не будет, потом что будет частично)
    -Качественного бнет с внутриигровыми турнирами, кланами, каналами
    -Оптимизацию ФПС(Даже на хороших карточках есть пролаги в моменты построения )
    -От себя лично еще ожидал может каких-то расширенных кампаний, которые не вносили бы изменения в лор(Может про мурлоков рандомных или какие то карты по примеру кампании за рексара). Благо таких карт-кампаний нарисовали за 18 лет существования вк3 уже овер 100500.

    Было бы все это - была бы оценка 10/10, не смотря на мелкие нюансы типо непривычной озвучки(старую версию которой, кстати, также обещали сделать доступной ) неестественной травы, путаницы из юнитов и прочего.

    0/10 считаю справедливой оценкой так как предзаказав игру почти за полтора года до ее выхода в итоге я не получил даже функционала 18(!) летней давности. Это не игра, это бета.    … Expand

    All that's happening is nonsense. Maybe the old gods exists and are deceiving us. This cannot be true. This is not Warcraft! This is not what I waited for the last 17 years! This is a nightmare! This is not Blizzard anymore!

    My evaluation is 0, even if this game went for free.
    I never thought I could give to Blizzard a rating lesser than 10/10.

    Eventually it was the same Blizzard that killed Warcraft. And killed part of my imagination. How did we come so far??? How???

    Причем не в первый раз. 2 года делали что-то, не понятно что. Почему у меня ощущение, что фанаты справились бы лучше, к тому же подогнали бы сюжет под новые каноны? Близзард, вы обещали. Если кому-то нужен был классический сюжет, он бы мог сыграть в старые игры. Если бы я захотел классический сюжет, я бы ещё раз (в 50ый) сыграл бы в старую игру,    "Wake up Blizzard, you were obosralsya."

    A lot of these reviewers remember the glory days when Blizzard represented quality and endless hours of gameplay. Those days are forever gone. I will never purchase a Blizzard product again.     This game is worse than the original. All PC has better computer components than we had 17 years ago but yet the graphics is horrific. Heores of the storm has better graphics. I expected more, game fps is slow and clunky def do not buy

    Sound problem where music volume jumps up or down or disappear completely
    Unit voices stops working. weird changes to cutscene dialogues. Lifeless unit portraits and campaign background. RoC campaign uses TFT balance. And the long list of removed features from the original. Features that were removed from original Warcraft 3    The old game used to work fine but now it is full of bugs

    I never actually purchased Warcraft 3: Reforged. Normally I would say that having not purchased the game makes any review I would write invalid, however, because Blizzard forces me to install Warcraft 3: Reforged, and forces me to use the new UI, I think they have made this review fair game.

    the game is solid, runs well, nice graphics, top notch balance! I felt that much of the bad review is unfounded, just teenagers letting off hot air.

Это просто нужно было взять прекрасную игру и переделать и современными возможностями. Надо быть последним овощем, что бы в 2020 сделать подобный высер.     Não apenas fizeram um propaganda enganosa em 2018, como também continuam a faze-la no seu site oficial. Um jogo com vários bugs e cutscenes piores ou iguais ao original. Tirando os gráficos não acrescenta nada ao antigo jogo, apenas remove diversas liberdades criativas que os jogadores antes tinham. Para piorar devido a união do servidor do WC3 com o reforge o    Estragaram um jogo ótimo.

    I’d need half a notebook to tell you all the broken promises and shady dealings blizzard has done l, congrats at somehow being a worse company than EA and Bethesda and disappointing long time fans. So blizzard you really earned the zero for unfinishing a 17 year old game.

Not only that, but the original client has been removed from the original game in favor of the abomination that is the new client, effectively destroying what was once a good game. I implore you, reader to not spend your money on this travesty. Also, Blizzard, my disappointment is immeasurable, and I condemn you for even daring to consider releasing such a deliberate attempt at swindling and disrespecting your customers. I used to look forward to what games Blizzard would release, but after this, I cannot help but dread what state upcoming games like Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 will be released in.     Setting up a field to harvest the next gen of custom games. Why think of it yourself when someone can just do it for you? Feels like this was the real motive behind this shell. This could have really been something, but at the end of the day it was a cash grab done in the worst way.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
