    Worst cash grab! And moreover they DESTROYED an original game! It became an abomination! 29.5 gb client instead of 3. No more old battle.net. Ugly reforged 2d menu instead of original 3d. Beautiful campaign selection 3d scenes were removed! No more LAN option. No more old localization available. And the main menu is Chroumium based browser! How is that even possible?

    While the game itself does not deserve a 0, I'll still give it this score because of everything Blizzard has done, and the way they've acted. It pains me that one of my favorite game of all time has such low rating, but I can only agree with the majority that Blizzard deserve all of this.

    Long time fan here, 10k hours ++ in orignal warcraft 3. The game is absolutely broken.. 60% of your public games won't even start when you que up. And if it by any miracle starts you are prone to disconnect or game crash. Yesterday i just exited the game after not being able to play public games and custom games because of it either crashing or disconnecting all the time. This is just theLong time fan here, 10k hours ++ in orignal warcraft 3. The game is absolutely broken.. 60% of your public games won't even start when you que up.     Blizzard на Blizzcon 2018 обещали: новые модельки и графика, поддержка старых кастомных карт, минимум изменения геймплея, вроде анимации атаки, улучшенная работа на новом железе и реткон. На Blizzcon 2019 из-за ряда очень громких игроков реткон из списка пришлось убрать, так же пришлось немного править графику на более различимую, а так же большая часть того, в чём якобы обманули, былаBlizzard на Blizzcon 2018 обещали: новые модельки и графика, поддержка старых кастомных карт, минимум изменения геймплея, вроде анимации атаки, улучшенная работа на новом железе и реткон. На Blizzcon 2019 из-за ряда очень громких игроков реткон из списка пришлось убрать, так же пришлось немного править графику на более различимую, а так же большая часть того, в чём якобы обманули, была известна уже тогда. Что мы получили? Что нам и обещали. Это игра не за фулл прайс, хотя в наборе и идут две старые игры. Можно ли было сделать графику лучше? Да, но на новом движке и тогда без «старых кастомных карт, минимум изменения геймплея, вроде анимации атаки…». С чем соглашусь, несмотря на то, что у меня всё норм идёт как и у ближайшего окружения, на стримах видел вылеты и просадки в кат сценах. Это недоработка, которую нужно править. В итоге: для меня игра на 8 баллов минусы, за ностальгию по старой озвучке, за слишком малый реткон, за отсутствие кастомных компаний на старте, за отсутствие рейтинговой системы на старте. Думаю, слови я много багов поставил бы 6,5-7. Но никак не 1, 2 или как некоторые 0. Несмотря на то что для меня реальная оценка иная, я поставлю в рейтинге 10 т.к. ситуацию с необоснованными набегами нужно исправлять.… Expand

    40 euros wasted. DON'T buy this game, it's nowhere close to what was promised, it's full of bugs, crashes, laggy as hell. As a huge fan of Blizzard games since Warcraft II in 1996, I feel betrayed. SHAME ON YOU BLIZZARD.

    Well this game didn't hold up to standard but at least we all have Starcraft 2 and Broodwar! Starcraft has always been the best blizzard franchise anyways.

    A low quality texture pack sold for a high price as if it was a standalone game that also manages to break most elements of the old Warcraft III in the process. Awful netcode, tons of bugs, game feels laggy and unpolished.
    Blizzard is no longer a friend. I vote with my money and refund it.

    This was an incredible disappointment for an old WC fan. Everything seems wrong with this game, starting from the menus. The worst thing is that I can't use an old client.

It seems that when Red Shirt Guy at BlizzCon 2018 asked if Diablo Immortals was an out of season April Fools joke, Blizzrd panicked, pulled the entire deveopment team off of Warcraft III, and set them the task of creating Diablo IV. Thats the only reason I can think why Warcraft III is such a heap of unfinshed poop.

    Am asteptat jocul degeaba :( I got this game to relive my childhood and bring back many amazing, nostalgic, funny, heroic, fun memories. This is one customer that will aggressively pursue a refund, due to the pile of electronic dung that I was tricked into getting. Good riddance blizzard.

    Everything has been said, thousands of truly disappointed gamers are left behind and I totally agree with them. I am not going to re enumerate all the issues of the game. Everyone who played this 17 year old game (which actually still had a reasonable player base) knows that blizzard just.......totally **** up.

    I just hope that the reason this incomplete game was published the way it is right now was because of:

    -Activison putting pressure on blizzard to release more games to make fast money
    -Some kind of major breakdown during production, causing them to start like 10 times over again
    -A hacker assault, who deleted all the Cut-scenes, Ladders, Profiles and added new AGB to the game (pretty unlikely)

    Otherwise all hope is lost, because then there wont be a way blizzard is ever going to give us the quality of games back, blizzard was used to be known. Even Activision has to accept that the current way with all the **** breaking down on blizzard is probably not the right way to go, but i guess before they realize blizzard and all its games have to die out and thats probably the best thing that could happen. I and all of you blizzard fans out there would do best if you boycott their games to force them to break down, free themselves and probably reincarnate one day. That is just me dreaming. If they would be gone, its still better than everything they sell us right now.

    Double dipping on a classic. trying to cash in on nostalgia with broken promises and an incredibly low effort remake of a classic. And because of their missteps around DotA you HAVE to sign away all of your rights in perpetuity so they can cash in on anything you make. With no opportunity for a refund save money and just buy the original, it's a better game anyway.

    Yeah, I needed just 1 to ask for redound. I got disconnected twice, at one moment my unit were not taking any action. And the menu, oh my God the menu move horrible. Even the map in loading screen is like a photo with 0.1 megapixel camera.
    So so bad. They should take it out and come back next year with something that works.

    I've been playing WC3 since 2003 all the way to 2019. WC3: Reforged is a massive disappointment, blizzard is dead to me. I will never buy a game from them again!

    Long time RTS player here. This game is a disgrace to RTS games everywhere and does nothing but hinder an already dead genre of games. Back to AOE2 I go, since Microsoft actually releases finished products.

    I cant belive what this game did, they not just made the whole Bnet Navigation and usability way worse, took features away and had me to update 30gigs for the same classic expirienc, no they also destroyed totaly fine voicesounds to the worst german crab I ever heard...

I mean, its one thing for Starcraft II to have massive DRM, an excessively user unfriendly editor, and of course, cutting features and region locking and so on when it was first released, but it was a new game, and that eventually got kinda resolved. Sort of. But aside from taking away a lot of people from Wc3 for a while,I didn't actually think it was possible to break a game this badly. Sort of. But aside from taking away a lot of people from Wc3 for a while, and having me go elsewhere, it wasn't a huge deal.

    I knew that the Battlenet service wouldn't last forever. Blizzard was providing it for free, and since some patches broke old maps, not updating and keeping multiple versions was normal. But, at the very least, patches never outright broke the game.

When I remembered the good childhood for my childhood replenishment and Blizzard headquarters had a good attitude and opened a refund afterwards. I have the ability to change all this. But at the game agency, I think Blizzard needs to rethink the way Blizzard's approach to the game agency Netease in mainland China. I do n’t know if it has passed the acquiescence of Blizzard headquarters. Maybe this is the sadness of players in mainland China. There is no equality in choosing the option of refund. NetEase did not open a direct refund like Europe and the United States.com but used a ban on it and changed the refund path. Only refunding the online currency does not return the original path. I hope Blizzard can continue to create brilliant For me, a small Chinese player, there is a differentiation policy when actual interests are violated. This is different from the so-called racial discrimination. I hope this is just a private decision of Blizzard China agent NetEase. Speaking of which is the capital behind the game, there is no way I can only complain. After all, the comment function of my Chinese Battle.net account has been deprived. Features missing from 2002/2003 like lan play and a lot of bugs introduced in reforged. The game is just not ready and its unplayable. I truly cant understand how the critic reviews went so high.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
