    Poor performance, incomplete game, gigantic patches and very poorly optimized.

    How much can one company keep messing up before people give up on them completely? Some of these large companies don't seem to realize that its hard to build good reputation but super easy to destroy. They keep taking it for granted and keep disrespecting loyal fan base by putting in as little effort as possible for maximum profits.

I start loved to play base with spells and MOBA (dota 1) with TFT (2000, I was young), a lot of times with my friends a lot of years ago, and today I can enter in the game and see this good graphics (can be better, but I can wait for more updates, I prefer more darkness). Ok, dont have new cutsenes, but ok, I dont like, but can do it in news updatesThanks Blizz for make this remaster!     So Blizzard actually broke a game that was all fine before. Unplayable campaign that crashing all the time, but I got this game only for custom games and they banning all ly favourite ones lol. Everything is laggy and it's not working like it supposed to be a game realesed in 2020.

    The greatest problem with this "remaster" is that it tries to appear beautiful by making the old version ugly. They removed the UI of the old version and replaced it with a siepia layer to look old and depressive. Before the patch they even removed the shadows of the units during game!

    Why?? This is how you are going to persuade people that the new version is better?     With all these models introduced in 'reforged' they could've easily make 'Warcraft IV' since this does not look like a proper remaster, a lot of the 'art-style' it's not compatible with Warcraft Universe.     lol.... Played Destiny 2... sucked... Played Black Ops4.... Trash.... Played single player Modern Warfarefare from a friend's account (he got it free w/graphics card).... Okay but nothing special.... Heard about Reforged.... Nahh.... Common denominator is... you guessed it Activision. I do not see myself putting hours in a game ever again with their name in it.

Not only did they fail to deliver on the improvements and remastered content they promised... but they ruined everything from the original WVCIII release, ESPECIALLY ruining custom lobbies. Also who thought it was a good idea to release this without any type of actual ladder? Losses don't count against you, only wins matter. AND they managed to **** up the servers for everyone who still booted up their old copies since now you have the actual classic version of WCIII on these cluster ****ed new servers with all the **** changes. And they make it VERY clear that if you create anything half decent in the custom games it belongs to them along with your entire life, soul, first born child... It's almost as if they are still butt hurt that a WCIII mod blossomed into the worlds greatest e-sports game while their every attempt to enter thee competitive gaming market falls laughably short. Blizzard is quite literally dead, I pray they never remake Diablo II, keep at least something sacred. Thank god for companies like GGG for bringing us worthy spiritual successors like Path of Exile.

I was going to give a higher rating due to the fact that they did implement higher resolution textures, but by the way they formed this game, didn't incorporate promised features, they also merged the old masterpiece with the new failure, making the old just as flawed, as the issues of reforged now is in the old version. Just overall a total and utter mess. A reforged version promised to make a masterpiece into a legendary memory, and we got something that turned back all the progress of the old game.… Expand

To come back to a remastered version in which is a terrible excuse of a production is truly saddening.     This game is not ready for release. With my experience, I would guess this game needed another year of development time. Broken UI, unfulfilled promises, and even breaking of the original game make this likely the worst release I have seen in a long time

    False advertising. The old Warcraft III client is gone for online play. If you want to paly online at all, you now have to start the game through Reforged. If you don't own Reforged, you're still forced to download it (including all assets) but are only able to play with old graphics.

    All you had to do was try... put some people on the project that have a passion for the original game.

    But you cut back funding, outsourced it & removed the original game.

    I have being playing Warcraft 3 since 2006, it was the first game I ever played on the computer and I still play it. I have being wating for a remaster for this game since I was in highschool, and the remaster came barely functional, and worse, it took the classic game that I have being playing for more than a decade away from me.

    Back to Warcraft! As it was expected be patience and you will get what you deserve. For now optimization is on a good level. Graphics is awesome. Sounds much better when it was. Absolutely playable 1x1, 2x2,FFA and customs. GL HF! See you in ladder!

    It's not working at all for me. i click play or try to launch the game directly, it looks like it's firing up, it does nothing.

    Downgraded broken game. IGN gave this a 7 out of ten. If ign ever praise a game you know something is up. Don’t waste your time with this game. Sad since the original Warcraft game was amazing.

    Most of the hate is unjustified, crying about "promised" things that were dropped months ago. Or features yet to be reimplemented. Game does have its share of issues, mostly stability related.

Обещанная крутая графика, приемлемая озвучка, сделаны подвиды героев кампании(паладины, нетрезимы и т.д.), ослепительная анимация персонажей и т.д.. А со всеми остальными неуладицами метелица разберется.… Expand

    Blizzard is dead. Has been a great run but at this point it is clear that their investors have claimed complete control (creative and not) and it shows. They have not kept any of their promises, it's very buggy and even lacks features that we used to have in the original game. It really looks like an half assed mobile game, it's a remaster not a remake as they claimed.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
