    This version has a lot of problems, I’ll list what hit me the most
    - The interface is too big
    - Character avatars look very scary - Arthas' voice acting is terrible - Worst of all, scenes on the engine (not cinematic) are worse than in the previous version of the game, very cheap, boring, bad - Even if you decide not to animate the scenes completely, you don’t even change the viewing    This version has a lot of problems, I’ll list what hit me the most

    Iv played Blizzard games since playing Diablo 1 on PS1 with my friends, but...this isnt the same people who made those games. The word Scam is too light a descriptor for this lie of a game. At this point, we need the law to crack the whip of justice upon this Chinese invasion of our basic rights. I am no longer going to buy their products even if its a Diablo title, Blizzard is dead.

    I'm only reviewing this game because it FORCED DOWNLOADED itself WITHOUT CONSENT and removed my WC3 classic installation and play through experience. A couple days back I noticed 'WC3 Reforged' was downloading updates through the battlenet client, so I canceled and removed the 30GB ongoing install not thinking too much about it. A day later, I go to play WC3 classic, and suprise suprise,I'm only reviewing this game because it FORCED DOWNLOADED itself WITHOUT CONSENT and removed my WC3 classic installation and play through experience. A couple days back I noticed 'WC3 Reforged' was downloading updates through the battlenet client, so I canceled and removed the 30GB ongoing install not thinking too much about it. A day later, I go to play WC3 classic, and suprise suprise, it's nowhere to be found! This game gets a 0 because it acted as malware by installing a 30GB update without my consent, and then deleting my WC3 classic installation and local save files.… Expand

    Haven't played the game. But blizzard can foad regardless. And activision. And King. Oh and making original wc3 obsolete is a crime. Oh and enjoy owning all the **** homophobic and racist custom maps Blizzard. I now regard them as official blizzard content, though these days they are probably the best content you actually own.

    ALL other things are worse!!!     I am a mass German WarCraft 3 Player (2nd German Illidan - about 25k games overall) with semiprofessional history (Top10 Ladder in AT and RT several times) and even when i did not play several years I logged in with my mainaccount (all ICONS earned) every 3 months for 17,5 years!!!) so my achivements get not lost.
    If my Icons will get lost now (right now they are....!!#AaaaRGGH#!!, but Blizzard said, they will try to keep them as it is possible) i will make a really hard cut with my old love (best gaming forge of the old times) Blizzard.

    I payed over 4500€ until today for games, card packs and abos (and even much more for statues, fan stuff etc).
    After things with FREE Hong Kong, Diab. Immortal this REFORGED SCAM is too much - WarCraft 3 TFT is in my eyes the best game ever made (in sum of single- and multiplayer corresponding to the release time).
    I DEMAND very extensive rework/patches to this releases and I WANT MY hard earned Illidan, MAIEV, REXXAR, JAINA, SYLVANAS, ARCHIMOND Icons back (also the best atmosphere feature of B-NET, the good old automated tournaments!).

    P.S.: I hoped with a polished re-reales of this classical masterpiece a new player base would enter this legend and a fresh wind would blow through the realms - maybe even new tactics etc. coming.
    This chance was totally crashed ...
    There was a time, when release dates where determined by"WHEN IT'S DONE" and the games where created for players not for mass profit (on the long time side this is the same ... - cause you maybe lost me now ... it's too much) .

    Btw. FINALLY --> I got it refunded ...
    Money can be refunded, but faith can never be restored
    Hopefully Blizzard will learn from this and fix all the problems, polish the game to a maximum and add all the features and maybe now even more (as excuse!) than before.

    AND .... I WANT MY ICONS ....!!!

    P.S.: I keep upgrading this score, if Blizzard patches well!

After all the lies Blizzard told to whole community, I will not buy a single game from them anymore.     I am a long time content creator for blizzard games. I used to make custom maps on StarCraft 1, Warcraft 3 and StarCraft 2. However because of Warcraft 3 Reforged new policies I'll not be creating new maps and campaigns here. It is time for me to move away from modding blizzard games and embrace other companies that will not be stealing from hard working mod creators.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. War III reforged feels like an alpha version of the 90's, but we don't have the 90's and its not supposed to be an alpha version.

    Some reasons why this game starts to be annoying after 1 day playtime:
    - This game is very sluggish, every use of menu buttons or switching to a different UI takes a while, it is not very responsive and doesn't motivate to use or to switch to often. It feels heavy, heavy to navigate, heavy to use.
    - The menu and chat functions appeal often out of place, they are not well designed, they rather look like randomly embedded, and sometimes overlap each other.
    - Also the user has to click far to much to join, to change something or to leave the game, then it was necessary originally. Having no UI for Hotkeys is also not acceptable nowadays.
    - Warcraft III reforged has gameplaywise 2 big issues, for once: the usage of bad servers, and second: the requirement of having a very good gaming PC. Therefore the performance in general is mostly sluggish up to very bad. Custom maps start to lag as soon as there are some more mobs in sight, even 17 years ago the performance was a lot better then the reforged version now; but with reforged I would have expected some improvements, especially with all those modern powerful hardware, and not some worsening. I don't think it is a good game design to require such a high gaming hardware for a game little and old as this. And when custom maps are started, the server are randomly chosen by the game, sometimes acceptable, sometime the server are not even from the same continent with terrible ping and performance for everyone.
    -I tried a Dota map, and it was the most awful experience I ever had with a Dota map.

    My summery:
    This game is hardly playable, sluggish, featureless (I didn't mention them above, but a lot of important things are completely missing in reforged), and most (99%) of the custom maps ever created are not working with reforged, and those which work, look worse then 17y ago and are sluggish like hell.

    This game is Not recommendable, everyone who bought the game should claim a refund, possible via Support on Blizzards Website.    … Expand

I waited a few days after the release before buying it, don't care at all about the multiplayer mess, and I can live with spending 30 EUR on the game in its current shape, but I am painfully aware, that what I got should cost 15 EUR tops.     Simplemente una estafa de juego... Nada de lo que prometieron al venderte el juego ha llegado al live. Te soplan 40 euros por un pack de skins mal hechas que encima las han hecho otra empresa distinta. Todo lleno de bugs, los nuevos modelos se ven y se mueven fatal, parecen de plástico, se ve todo super cutre, el doblaje nuevo una porquería y encima no te deja poner el doblaje antiguo.

    I made this account to write this review.

    I am so unbelievably angry. I wouldn't have minded as much if I could still play the original warcraft 3 games that i payed for. Turns out I can never play the originals again because blizzard merged reforged with the originals. Now i never have access to them again. Up yours blizzard. Also this version lacks a tremendous amount of features.

There is an annoying audio bug that means you can't hear allies being attacked, and you might be attacked without allies knowing you need help. I'm not into the custom game thing but people are raging about the new license agreement. And they essentially killed wc3 classic. And that same game initialization error that counts as a auto lose is still in the game after 18 years. They charged 30 for the game but it isn't worth 2.5 dollars for it.… Expand

    One of the worst remake ever do you had old computer who dosnt had 64 bits np you still can't play to warcraft 3 classic because spoil you had to **** download warcraft refunded who didn't work i'm **** now i can play to one of my favorite game on my main computer

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Blizzard is ready to be buried. I played Warcraft 2 Tides of Darkness back in the days of having to use a dial up modem to play with my best friend. With and without cheats. The mighty have fallen.

    What can I say that others haven't already.

    - Lack of ANY empathy from Blizzard brass.
    - Total disregard for false advertising laws.
    - Blatantly banning people asking for a legitimate refund.
    - Breaking the old game.

    Well this has been a giant disappointment as most remakes/new games from big gaming companies that are now just trying to get easy money from fans and not even trying to make a proper remake or anything. i am baffled how can any company **** up a old game so much.

    The game itself is exactly like WC3 with different models. I do not want to say better or improved models as I find them kind a downgraded. It's nowhere near today's standards as they feel like from 2012. Animation of these models is almost nonexistent as original WC3 models had for some reason more life in them.     Not what I was promised it would be. Besides, the game is so laggy even running on my system with i7 8700K, RTX2060, 64GB RAM, on NVMe drive.

    They didn't release the advertised game and forced every player to use their terrible Reforged launcher. Sorry if you wanted to play the original Warcraft 3, you can't anymore.

Calling this a game, RELEASING this steaming pile of **** is unbelievable. Slaughtering one of the last things left we can look at and say "This was Blizzard". Going the Disney way. Forget the past. Kill it if you have to.

    Since that time i have played Warcraft 3 battlenet more hours than i have spent working my full time job. At least once a year i finished the campaign. I played LAN with friends, i beat 12 hard AI with cheats to have fun. All in all this have been a HUGE part of my life.

    NOW TO REFORGED.
    I was as exited for reforged as a child waiting for santa. First day it is out i want to just take a normal Hero push map on battlenet. AND I OPEN UP AN UNFLUSHED **** TOILET WITH DIARREA IN!!
    No custom campaings which i have done a **** of. New bloody **** menu interface that my brick of a laptop cant run. Thanks for that, now i cant run the same game i have played for 17 years on a ****ty worklaptop. No singleplayer normal maps where i can cheat to make myself feel better. Where the **** did LAN go? Why cant i play with other regions anymore? And what is up with the end of game summary? is does **** nothing!    … Expand

    Blizzard removed my warcraft 3 game from my account when they released this inferior version of the game. stealing a game from me that I had already bought. not to mention that they are still falsely advertising about the features of this "reforged" game.

But you still could build some respect and fight for something. Now its NOTHING to do.     Terrible game fake advertising at blizzcon 2018 pre ordered the open beta it ran terribly but thought it's just a beta should be ok at launch and it launched easy just as bad played 1 mission and refunded the game

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
