    Poor attempt to enhance a beloved classic. New models and animations lack charm and style. Other “improvements” and bugs are damaging to both the old and new W3. Also, Bliizard owns all player made maps. Shame on you, Blizzard.

    It's basically the worst game ever made. It's so bad it actually made me cry. At one point I almost turned to heroin to relieve me of all the emotional pain this game inflicted on my soul.

    Unfortunately, Blizzard has gone completely downhill since Activision buyout and Metzen and Morhaime departure. It was expected but still feels extremely painful. Just don't buy their stuff ever again. This is Blizzard only in name and nothing else.

    This garbage killed the original game for the people who liked to play only the original. Now you have to download 25GB unnecessary data just to play what you loved for 18 years. And above all, now it is broken.

    This is the game of my childhood, I love every aspect of this game, this game its not bad, Its Warcraft 3, If you are remastering this game Its impossible to make it boring, and the new models are at most pretty good, but Blizzard really try to rush a game that need at least 1 more year to polish.     C'est juste incroyable de déni de blizzard pour qui nous en demandons trop. Ce n'est pas normal de faire rêver les joueurs avec des fausses informations. Et un jeu non fini avec des images de développeurs (wtf ???) dans le jeu. Sans parler des options en moins....

Blizzard achieved the impossible, it's the first "remaster" in the history of gaming that literally killed it's perfectly working, loved and still admired original. This piece of broken promises truly deserves 0 out of 10. Blizzard/Activision lost me as a customer forever.     Shame on you Blizzard. I am already feeling dreadful for the future of Diablo IV. It's the only game I was looking forward to and now, with this released in such a pitiful state I just don't have any hope. I can't believe this is a product that came out of Blizzard Entertainment. Looks like a very bad SC2 mod.

    Created a metacritic just because I am so done with BlizVision and their ruining of classic games. At least give us back our original game and stop running it on your useless garbage new engine... and why are you retroactively removing my shadows? And why can't I create copright materials for MY PERSONAL enjoymen? That's half the fun! 0/10 RIP Blizzard and hail China I guess?

Бой теперь гораздо хуже читается, все прогеймеры единогласно отказываются играть с новым графоном. 6. Полностью убиты кастомки (новым лицензионным соглашением и копирайтом). 7. Изменена легендарная русская локализация на гораздо более хуевую, зато с орком-подкастером 8. Нет обещанной на анонсе переделки. роликов(самый сок- обещание до сих пор висит на странице покупки). 9. Единственная новая цг катсцена, бой иллидана с Артасом, выглядит хуже, чем фанатские работы 10. Нет обещанной переделки сюжета. 11. Классический вк3 удален из магазина, его владельцам теперь доступен только рефорж, но без новой графики. При этом, ты все равно должен скачать все 30 гигов. 12. Заготовка под донатные скины в мультиплеере. 13. Для смены хоткеев надо редактировать текстовый файл в папке игры. Причём тебе об этом сообщают прямо в настройках игры и даже заботливо говорят путь. 14. Графика хуже, чем в демке на Близзконе 2018 15. Сглаживание вообще не завезли. Опцию что включай, что выключай- толку нет… Expand

    Sadly, I didn't even know W3R was out. I looked at all of it and this saddens me. Warcraft was my childhood and it made me fell in love with Knights. I love the new models to some degree but everything is just broken. Like my broken heart for this game, please at least fix it.

    I specifically made an account just to write this review. I am shocked and appalled by some of the decisions Activision-Blizzard made and the lack of foresight as to their consequences. Deleting the fully functional old client and replacing it with the new client is not tolerable.

    -ladder has connection issues (cant find a match sometimes)
    -no stats page for wins /losses (in a highly competitive game, seriously???)
    -old character portraits are gone (you played 1000 games just to have that nice portrait? guess what it's gone now)
    -interface is not intuitive and laggy (why change the old one ?)
    -Removal of LAN (wc3 was THE game that was played at LAN parties, which i grew up with. I will never be able to go back to those memories)
    -custom games are not working (really bad ping or disconnect in lobby)
    -friends of mine can't even start the game
    -no Quality of Life improvements to the UI (like Control Groups or hero lvls and item overlays. Commonly used by war3 streamers)
    -no QoL improvements to Observer or Replay UI (like in SC2)
    -no Hotkey Editor ingame
    -other QoL features missing for custom games ( Custom games stats (implemented in SC2), or maybe a feature to restart a custom game (it took 40mins to get a full lobby in wc3 and then the game only took 20 minutes so a quick restart button would have been very nice)
    -no Introduction to Competitive 1v1 play (In SC2 there is a complete training course which teaches you the fundamentals of sc2. I have some friends which would really learn at least the basics of wc3 and start laddering now with the release . Unfortunately they are new to the game. How are they expected to learn?)

    Conclusion:
    if Activision-Blizzard at the very least doesn't rerelease the classic client the warcraft 3 community will have a really hard time to hold on. Maybe reforged singleplayer is really nice, i dont really care. However, it speaks volumes that War3 RoC (from 18 years ago!) provided a better multiplayer experience.    … Expand

    I was unable to "link" my old account because if you have not played for +3 months then all the stats are gone, nobody ever told me back that after playing it day in and day out for 4 years and having a "shadow hunter" picture of 750 + wins, lost every thing same applies for my friend that had 1500+ wins (Illidan picture) all gone because we didn't "come" online anymore and now we can LINK it but we CANNOT any more because we did not play for a long time and suddenly we could "link" it WHO can link it ? almost nobody of the old players base since all did not play for less then 3 months ago....

    I am really unhappy about the current game state and i never write reviews but this is really needed blizzard sucks and me and my friends won't preorder their **** any more, all they think about is $$$ they are the new EA    … Expand

Triste que a empresa que mais amava e considerava alta qualidade ter se transformado nisso. Faz uns 5 anos que tem so trazido decepção mas agora esse game acabou com tudo que eu amava nela.

    Couldn't play the campaign, too choppy, broke immersion. Constant boots. Unfinished graphics in 2020. Maybe they just looked unrendered because the framerate anytime I could play was so low. Don't know, don't care. Got my refund.

The EULA is joke, flash doesn't own my games and solidworks doesn't own my models. And banning the ability to add perks to donors is stupid, donations from working on maps was nothing it just gave the push/feeling of obligation to fix/improve stuff. If you don't want toI am upset about this game. I mainly played for the custom game scene and the custom campaigns(don't exist anymore).     Yes, that was not what I expected. But i really love Warcraft.I do not mind the money spent, since I got the opportunity to go through all over again.I would like to add new plots and scenes. It will be a pity if this all ends.

    I didn't buy this game but I still feel like I can review it due to the fact that the release of Reforged automatically applied changes to the non-Reforged Warcraft 3 client to literally remove features and also force you to use the new menus, which are both less nostalgic and actually worse looking stylistically despite the higher fidelity.

    Durante años espere esta remake. Y blizzard se caga en la gente mintiendo con las cinemáticas. Arruinando el.multiplayer, etc . Y cobrando 30 dólares por algo que prácticamente sin cambios. Te cobran x la nostalgia. Esta perfecto que los usuarios nos hagamos escuchar.

    Change the original one by a newer version with prettier and more shining characters but with no more technical improvements nor plot changes and you'll get this disappointment

    Out of all the things wrong with the game, the graphics actually look terrible. Its like you took a mobile game's graphics and ported it to the PC and expected it to be eye candy.

    I bought this game and I regret it. The game is entirely not as described. The older version is significantly better than this "upgraded" release.

    Upgraded to 1/10 because they gave me my money back.

    When I knew computers more than my dad in my early life, WC3 became my favorite game of all time. The best graphics, the best gameplay, and it got my '95 yr born self hooked. This remake was honestly butchered and I'm hopeful that the devs look at this development like someone in my position and gives a stronger product which everyone should get at least

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.
