    How you can fukup the Original as well as the ''Reforged'' version at the same time is TRULY baffling to me.. So much false advertising that they should be sued. Refunded it, never have been happier with a decision regarding a game that I bought.

    Broken my old client, stripped it of some functionality. False advertising, broken promises, no improvements, even graphics look terrible for today's standards. How could they botched it so hard i beyond my understanding.

    Warcraft 3... Ну что тут скажешь? Очень вторично и не потому, что ремастер. Например ремастер резидента не выглядит вторичкой, это новая игра, а тут блин... Графика, то ради чего всё замышлялось на деле так себе, при этом жрёт ресурсы как топовый ААА проект. С художественной точки зрения просто страшный косяк в том, что модельки юнитов обрели пропорции, а здания нет и это глупейшееWarcraft 3... Ну что тут скажешь? Есть вулкан в обучении, и там всё выглядит даже хуже чем 17 лет назад. Теперь озвучка, то, что русскому игроку зашло с детских лет, каждая фраза знакома наизусть, здесь же всё сошло в оттенки серого. Вся сказачность и эмоцианальность пропала.
    Игра не стоит своих денег. Мне жаль об этом думать, но прошла эпоха золотого века игростроя для этой компании. Деньги я возвращать не стану ибо всё равно пройду хотя бы компанию. Но в первые оставлю этот текст, с маленькой надеждой, что кто то из руководителей метелицы поймёт что "от судьбы не уйдёшь".    … Expand

    Even that I don't mind the non-implementation of promised features, I can't accept all the bugs. The game is extremely buggy. Skyrim was also buggy but at least the gameplay experience was amazing.

    I've been watching the soul slowly drained away from Blizzard since Activision took over. I have not played or purchased a Blizzard game since 2016. I was looking forward to Warcraft 3 Reforged As the original Game holds a special place in my heart. I can now say Blizzard is dead to me.

    Ce jeu est une blague de bien mauvais gout et un peu chère, comment peut-on réussir à faire un remake d'un jeu moins bien que l'original... Entre pub mensongère (Cinématique remastérisée absent du jeu), jeu instable avec des latences et lags et la suppression de certaines fonctionnalités du jeu original ... je ne vois pas comment on peut mettre une bonne note à ce jeu actuellement. PeutCe jeu est une blague de bien mauvais gout et un peu chère, comment peut-on réussir à faire un remake d'un jeu moins bien que l'original... While they are all serious and valid concerns, I'd like to share some of the things that were added/modified with WC III: Reforged.

    Most cut-scenes have indeed been modified, often featuring additional units, rearrangements of the terrain and camera alignments.
    These changes are mostly beneficial in highlighting the reworked buildings, character models and their animations.
    Unfortunately, not every cut-scene has received the same level of attention and polish, resulting in a loss of background action, coherency and some cute little extras along the way.

    The cinematics from the original game have now been re-rendered in high resolution. With the intro, "The Prophecy" being completely reworked.
    Despite being 18 years old, the cinematics now look just as stunning as I remember them from the early blizzard days.

    On a rather sad note, they decided to create a entirely new cinematic for the final fight of Arthas vs. Illidan.
    This fight, previously being one of the most gorgeous cutscenes of the entire game, has now turned into what looks like a badly animated 3D kids show.

    An incredible amount of effort went into recreating every single graphical asset for the game, and let's be real: in a vacuum, they look amazing.
    Especially the known heroes from the Warcraft Universe have received much attention in their redesign.
    Playing the game however shows that the models weren't engineered to be playable at all, and as a result, the battles in-game feel like a mess rather than an epic war.
    It's a shame that these new models completely lack the charm of the original installment, as is mostly evident in each characters avatar frame.

    It feels as if all of the changes that come with WC3: Reforged have sucked out the life from the original title, which ironically further plays into the accusations that "Blizzard has killed Warcraft III".
    Experiencing the campaign with the reworked graphics has generally left a good impression on me, although most of it comes from the solid foundation it is built on.

    Without many signs of competent art direction, developers and polish from Blizzard's side that we have come to expect from this company, the added features of this game are simply not worth the demanded price.
    Factoring in all the ways that this release has screwed over veteran WC3 fans, I give this game a solid 2 / 10.    … Expand

    As a veteran player of Warcraft Saga, I am really disappointed with this game, especially with Blizzard's behaviour with us customers and players. They promissed and show what this game would be: REFORGED! But what they delivered is a pack full of lies and sh*** .Hope they can listen to their players and correct these mistakes on time.

    Some feedback on my own experience. I've purchased the game just for the story campaign, to review the new missions and modifications to the old ones according to the WoW lore.     I've purchased the game just for the story campaign, to review the new missions and modifications to the old ones according to the WoW lore.

    Second act ( Human campaign) was without modifications, only one map was re-done and that the map that was advertised in the pro videos. Everything else was a lazy copy paste.

    After this I've stopped playing.

    Regarding the videos and cut sciences.
    Nothing was changed or improved. Just re-shot the old game in the new graphics. Kinda sad.

    Another point is I'm very annoyed that lips move randomly ( it's a blizzard game and 2020 ... ).

    Biggest hit in the balls was the Arthas killing his father scene. Its the same old movie clip in a better resolution.

    Had some troubles controlling the troops as well. The movement command feels more clunky and less optimized that in the 2002 original game ( when people actually gave a **** ).

    I don't know to whom to recommend this game actually. May be if you have kids that are not spoiled and never played the original game, this can do.

    In case the game was advertised as a Just Graphical Improvement - would rate the game 4/10 because of the lazy work on the remake of the maps and story mode.

    You can't remaster one of the best your games by this way.
    - No new UI
    - No new cutscenes (just the old ones rescaled)
    - Lots of old features missing
    - Bad idea with custom maps

    Я не знаю почему все так накинулись, мне лично очень понравилось играть в одну из любимийших игр с обновленной графикой, да может не вся озвучка у них получилась, а может просто придирки из-за того, что привык к старым. В целом я не жалею потраченных денег, а долгое ожидание только усилило радость выхода. А вы товарищи хейтеры, просто зажрались. ИМХОЯ не знаю почему все так накинулись, мне лично очень понравилось играть в одну из любимийших игр с обновленной графикой, да может не вся озвучка у них получилась, а может просто придирки из-за того, что привык к старым.     Thankfully i didnt buy this, but from what ive seen its an updated graphics pack for 30 dollars, and in some cases a graphics downgrade. And Blizzard outsourced the work for the new models to malaysia... This is the worst attempt of a cash grab ive seen in a long time.

    Warcraft III reforged was advertised, to be a great remaster with upgrades in many areas but was just a poor execution game that cost over 30$

    The only good thing is that Blizzard decided to refund those who want to return the product.

    I have waited for so long to redo the campaigns on high quality. And what I get? 2 hours of bad fps and crashing game. Such a disappointment from Blizzard. I have supported them for so long now, but I won't anymore. One thing I know I would do is wait for Diablo IV to actually publish and then see what I get. Not like now....

    I think this game is fantastic and haven’t had any issues at all. The story is great, the graphics are great, the voices, music and textures are all great. The features that are missing have a coming in the future from what I can see so I’m not sure what all the extreme negativity is about.     realmente el juego no lo vale, no trae lo prometido, esta lleno de bugs y solo es una pequeña texturizacion, sin contar el timo de clausula de robo por el que te pasan el creador de mapas. Lo peor es que nisiquiera deja jugar el antiguo que por lo menos aunque no estubiera tan texturisado era jugable.

    I have never bought Reforged. What I have bought is the original Warcraft to play with my buddy online about a year ago cause the only option was to get both the original and this one. Little did I know that I'll actually lose the original one upon Reforged release.
    The game itself probably deserves more than a zero, so I'll change my vote once I get the original Warcraft 3 back.

    This is by far the laziest and ugliest remake I’ve ever seen. The original was a great game. It could compete with the best. But this is nothing like the original. So many promises were broken. In the early 2000’s it was completely understandable for characters to be the size of buildings and trees. It was completely fine the way they moved and talked. The cutscenes were ok too. And Then there’s the fact dat the original game is practically unplayable since this release. Many functions of Reforged don’t even work. I am really disappointed with this game and with Blizzard and Activision. It really hurts me to see what has become of Blizzard. I played their games with much love because of their amazing atmosphere and eye for detail. But not this turd. Blizzard has been falling apart for years, but this is a new all time low.     They delivered a terrible product. I preordered this game and what they showed on their reveal in 2018. is a completely different game than the one we got in 2020. The cutscenes look way worse, the FPS is terrible and many other features were cut.

Comptetive ladder games, fun custom games and a huge modding community - these three things are what kept warcraft 3 alive for 17 years. This game was an active breathing animal and acitivision blizzard basically cut off 3 of it's limbs and rip it's dick off. II still can't believe this happened. The classic game was actually made to look worse by disabling the shadows graphical option, unless you purchase Reforged. I feel that this is especially important, because no matter how you spin it, Blizzard has purposefully worsened an old product, blatantly retroactively removed a feature that was part of the game for 17 years. But it also confirms what they were trying to do by merging the two versions and force downloading gigabytes of Reforged files for those who don’t own and have no intention of owning it. They've also made hosting many of the most popular maps that made the game popular in the first place, and alive for so long, a bannable offence, so no more maps referencing copyrighted IPs. Their excuse is that they made it to protect themselves, but it's been like this for 17 years with no problems. There’s also silly censorship in the game, and they’re purging their forums. If they truly wished best for their most loyal customers, and had any sort of dignity, they'd have left it as was. If I could go into negative numbers in the score then I would've, because aside from this being it's own disaster, where no mental gymnastics can justify a quarter of its price, it also intentionally, retrospectively ruins the original. I could go on, and on with what's so bad about it, and the bad keep coming. Likewise, I could go on about Blizzard scamming people by false advertising Blizzcon, the Blitzchung controversy, appropriation of publicly funded tournament prize poll, the list doesn't end. It is unbelievable that this is Blizzard, but it is and has been for a long time now, and I was already fooling myself when I stood in the line, in rain and night, for hours, waiting for the store to open and start selling Diablo 3. I got two copies, including the collector's, believing to the bitter end. Diablo 4 doesn't show much promise either. But! Let me be clear: I'm being fair in my score, due to their past offences, I fart in their general direction. Reforged earns the the score of 0 well on its own merits, or lack thereof.… Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.
