    Очень красивый и качественный ремастер, единственное, новая озвучка в русской локализации для Артеса просто похоронила его как персонажа которого все любили. Крайне неуверенный он стал.     I'm giving this a zero rating mainly because of the incredibly anti-consumer eula. It's completely unacceptable to take intellectual property rights away from modders / map creators. This is downright evil.

    I, like many others, pre-ordered this game after the Blizzcon 2018 announcement. I wasn't too huge of a fan of the HotS-style graphics update, but understood that that is the direction their art department is going in general (to match the WoW stuff they're doing) so fine - I can deal. Regardless, they kept saying that the engine itself wasn't being changed (which is very important as aI, like many others, pre-ordered this game after the Blizzcon 2018 announcement. I wasn't too huge of a fan of the HotS-style graphics update, but understood that that is the direction their art department is going in general (to match the WoW stuff they're doing) so fine - I can deal. Regardless, they kept saying that the engine itself wasn't being changed (which is very important as a "function over form" person) and they were even going to add new in-game cinematics (like the Culling of Stratholme trailer shown at Blizzcon [that's still up on their website as of writing this]). Great! Hey, even adding some new UI features to modernize a 17 year old game with QoL improvements is fine with me.

    Then this game released. After crashing to desktop multiple times while going through the Orc Prologue missions, having the game freeze up then catch up really quickly (including other frame drops), and not saving my progress properly when trying to close/restart the game... I was finally getting through the campaign - the campaign that solidified myself as a Warcraft mega-fan (loved OvH and ToD/BtDP but RoC/TFT are simply splendid). And I immediately noticed the animation fidelity wasn't the same. The way the characters move (or don't move) was jarring. Everything felt "off" when instead this should be a triumph of Blizzard's maturity as a development studio, right?

    Examples: there's an Interlude where The Prophet calls upon Arthas to lead his people West and in the original game you see Arthas' head track the Raven as he flies by, in Reforged Arthas just stands there as if in T-pose. It's quite honestly pathetic. Speaking of the Prophet, when he transforms into the Raven and vice versa, there is no effect that plays. There is no metamorphosis animation. It simply model-replaces after enlarging/shrinking accordingly. Again, utterly pathetic.

    I could go on with how many little things they just completely missed with this game but you probably get the idea. I mentioned some of these (as well as all of the performance issues I had) to Blizzard and got my refund. This is not something I can support.

    None of any of the above even begins to describe the issues many are taking with the updated ToS. Nor the lack of clan support, a ladder, tournaments, and complete removal of the original games' ability to be played (now the "Classic" versions of RoC and TFT *must* be played through the Reforged client). This is a tremendous failure from a company that should honestly know better. Shame on Blizzard.

    Shame on the art department for letting lore-breaking models slip through (human ears on Naga, ffs). Shame on the animators for their inability to recreate iconic moments from the original game with the updated graphics. Shame on the systems engineers for breaking their flawlessly running game somehow with massive frame drops and crashes. Shame on the leadership for getting rid of the new in-game cinematics (that, again, are still being advertised as a selling point on their website as of writing this - how is this not class-actionable?).     The old Blizzard is sadly gone. I thought things were bad with this company, but I never thought they could get this low. This PR disaster makes the bush fires in Australia look like a minor event... this is truly a catastrophic launch. I was lied to about this game, doubt I will ever get a refund - but be sure that this is the final straw. I will NEVER buy or support a Blizzard game again.

    Broken promises, lies, false advertisement, the game is so bugged, that I couldnt play the campaign. The performance in this game is so bad. It's really totally **** The walking animations of the units. They suck more than before. This game is really a **** show.

    Worst of all, they deleted the original game, so you can't even go back to the old version

    The truth is, ladies and gents, is that Blizzard lost its heart and soul a long time ago, and has since morphed into yet another typical big corporation focused solely on maximum profit. They don't care about feedback from their customers and loyal fans anymore. They don't care about anything that doesn't have money attached to it.

    Blizzard deserves this score. I would say let's hope that they read these reviews and perhaps implement some changes, but that's tantamount to hoping that pigs may one day fly.

But because W3 was so good and because they promised how wonderfull this will and also because how long they didnt even touched W3... this is like -10 for me.     Many bugs, game crashes, downgrade from the original game, laggy and blizzard now take full ownership of custom maps created, meaning that new original map ideas will not be as common as it were in the original. Due to the fact that map creators will never be able to profit or develop further on their creations.

In the past few months they've been attempting to censor free speech, shoving microtransactions into every nook and cranny of once-beloved games, and now releasing this blatant cashgrab to profit off of the hopes of their fans through false advertising. Not even being able to play the original game anymore is beyond short-sighted.

    I was really looking forward to the promised "reforged" Warcraft III. I am disappointed. Empty promises from Blizzard and the final delivered product is buggy and shallow. It's a retrograde to the classic. It would be okay for a first time player - but it is not what Blizzard was peddling to the existing fan base.

    When people screamed this ruined my favorite game I did not think they meant that you can no longer play Warcraft 3 frozen throne online at all.
    You cannot play Wc3 anymore without buying reforged. I have been playing Wc3 custom maps multiple times a week for many years now I can not even login. Just wow.....

    I bought it, played it and promptly returned it after seeing that it's just a $30 graphics mod that plays far worse than the original release. Save your money.

Unit models are best looking when you fully zoom in on them but no one plays like that. The design in versus mode is confusing. The colors blend too much. I can’t tell if I’m fighting a frostie or a wyvern. Is Tauren chief bigger than a large dragon? I played 20 3v3 matches. I’m happy they have enough people playing to do 3v3 and with fast queue time; however, about a minute or two in each match someone has been kicked from the game with some weird text that shows up on the screen that everyone can see. There hasn’t been a single balanced match due to the disconnects. I can’t view my profile, stats, or change my icon. I still play because I’ve always been a blizzard fan but all of their projects over the pass view years have been mismanaged in some critical way. Either the game is great but the continual artistic development of the game ruins the balance or the policies and lack of responding to feedback in a timely matter have made the community bitter and the rate of trolling, especially in competitive modes, has grown so large that it’s can be experienced in every match that doesn’t have two fully premade teams. Lastly, I don’t mind paying $30 for an outdated game but it has to be finished product, not in beta for campaign mode and in alpha for versus mode.… Expand

    It is really unacceptable that blizzard now says that it is the fault of the user to expect something that was not, after them say that they will do a lot of things and then deliver the same game only with a change of texture that is not even the best that they could do, and they still don't make the game, really disappointing the blizzard now

    Refunded my copy. Embarrassing release for Bluzzard. Crashes every other game I play in custom games, that’s if I even connect to the game. I can’t create any custom games, and also have trouble joining 45% of the games others host on the public custom games. The blizzard I grew up with is long gone. Won’t be getting diablo 4 or any other blizzard games for the rest of my life.

    Warcraft 3: Reforged is a newer version from the original Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos but removes most features AND doesn't add jack except higher rez graphics. Not even worth 1/10 as when it comes down to it, it's just a $40 re-skin pack.

    This game looked good i was thinking of buying it but when it came out it was not what they were saying at all glad i didnt waste my money on this broken game it was just a bait and switch thing

    Blizzard botched up big time. I downloaded the original files and have my CD keys so I can at least play the single player campaign with the changes reforged made to classic.

    Stop supporting this company.

    -One Positive aspect of this game: The Refund button,
    -It is basically a lot of fake publicity to grab money from fans on pre-purchase, official website still displays features not in the game.
    -People with classic was forced to play the new crippled version.

    They've taken a classic game and ruined it. Between the graphics becoming worse the game hardly plays to blizzard becoming nothing but money grubbing failures. They've done horrible things to TOS basically stealing they're own gamers ideas because they're jealous that they cant come up with any good ideas so let's rob our fans.     The campaign seems to play just fine. I haven't tried the multiplayer or custom maps, and I'm not likely to. The graphics got a slight upgrade. They did not deliver on the cut scenes they promised. Over all I'm not overly impressed. It feels like a mediocre effort, not worth the cost.

    This new Blizzard has finally killed off the remnants of the old Blizz. Activision's slimy tendrils have completely wormed their way into the heart of a developer I used to adore. The future is bleak indeed.

    I was really looking forward to this but I am so disappointed. Unfortunately, this is in keeping with the studio that released Battle for Azeroth and will release Diablo Immortal someday.

    The game is really good! It is unfortunate that some aspects are missing. But I am very glad that I made a pre-order, I was very upset only by postponing the date to a later date, but on the whole it benefited the game, also upset the lack of new missions in the company. But overall the game is super! Thank you blizzard!

I'm never gonna play warcraft 3 again unless i go out of my way to get a cracked version since they merged Warcraft 3 Classic with Warcraft 3 Reforged.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
