    I didn't have high expectations when I bought this game back then. I heard a few times that it was pretty good, so I thought why not. I was surprised how much I enjoyed this game. It is perfect for me. I love the music, the combat system and the story of this game. It all fits so well together. The music was surprisingly very good. I didn't have high expectations of the game and was surprised in a positive way. Many people find the graphics terrible, but I love the graphics of this game. It's simple yes, but it offers a lot. It gives me a warm and nostalgic feeling which fits very well in this game. Many also find the humor unfunny, which I can't agree with at all. I have played through this game 4 times and it has always been a lot of fun.… Expand

    Undertale found a way to make RPG combat entertaining. It's a charming game but it is overhyped by quite a lot. The graphics are abysmal. At times the game is just plain ugly. The music is decent but far overpraised. It sounds choppy and pixelated. I understand that's the style it just doesn't resonate with me. I've never really played a game where your actions affect the game AFTER you reset it. I love the option to play a genocide, pacifist, or neutral run, and just how much the actions actually affect the game. In terms of gameplay, it is very simple, funny, and fun. I have 9 hours on the game and have done a true pacifist and neutral run. I got the ending where Undyne becomes empress and I killed Papyrus.… Expand

    Undertale, grafikler vb. nedenlerden oyuncuların şans vermekten kaçındığı bir oyun durumunda. Lakin şans verildiği takdirde neredeyse tüm bağımsız oyunlara karşı olan ön yargıyı yıkabilecek bir yapım.

The music is great, the characters are great, the story is beyond perfect, but if you want to know the story of this game completely, you should definitely look at its videos and investigate its mysteries. Undertale gives you what you want from a story rpg in a great way. Especially the little jokes made in the game It organizes the atmosphere, not only in a serious environment, but really throws you into all kinds of people of a city, but sometimes it gives action and reminds you that the environment you are in is not very safe. It has countless features that are not explained in a way that reminds me of it as the best game of 2015. If we sum all these up, my Undertale a score is definitely 10/10.… Expand

    It's a really great game from my experience, the writing is really good, the character designs are well thought out, and the best detail is the routes. I have not seen a game this great in my life, you need see the story for yourself and not look at spoilers if you want the best experience.

    Despite being a single player game, the difficulty is in the right place for most people to get into it and not feel frustrated but also not easy to the point you lose interest. Even if you are a hardcore gamer, you will still have to focus on avoiding attacks.

    The story is completely unique and very little can even compare to it's design. I will not spoil how it works, but almost everyone can find some sort of meaning to Undertale's story.    … Expand

    Where do i even start? This is simply a modern masterpiece. It has a phenomenal story, interesting and memorable characters, beautiful pixel art graphics and fun gameplay mechanics. It has a special emotional value to me and i would definitively recommend this game to everyone.

    Im sorry, but I dont get it. I was so excited to play through this game, but was left widely disappointed. Going through this was a slog. Perhaps I didnt get the humor. Perhaps I didnt get the nuance of the story. Overall, this game didnt grab me.

    Honestly, this is one of my favorite games off all time. This game has done everything perfectly for its purpose. The story is heartwarming, the characters are very well written and since it has a lot of endings, you can replay it and still have a great time!

    Undertale is truly a masterpiece. It's a unique game that has so much content, so many paths to take, so many easter eggs to see and so much more! And yet it only costs 10€ on Steam. Congratulations to Toby Fox.

    Lo mejor para la persona que no lo haya jugado es no ver trailers, ni imágenes. Mientras más limpio entres a la experiencia. mejor será el viaje.

To me, a 10/10 would mean you've had an experience that's nothing short of amazing, and the result of that experience lingers on for years after it's happened. To me that's Undertale. Just not for me, I'm by no means a ourelybAAA gamer and have been gaming for forty years, but ai do likeI just don't get it at all.     The only grotesque aspects of Undertale is the story and the characters, everything else is pretty bland in my opinion. there are many other games that deserve the clout Undertale enjoys, but it still is a good game, not for every gamer though.

    I bought this game after hearing some of the murmurs of its success back in 2015, and I took a chance and picked it up. Boy, did I have absolutely no idea what I was getting into. This is a 2D “bullet-hell” RPG created by one talented individual, Toby Fox. First off, the soundtrack is sheer perfection in this game.     I bought this game after hearing some of the murmurs of its success back in 2015, and I took a chance and picked it up. Boy, did I have absolutely no idea what I was getting into. This is a 2D “bullet-hell” RPG created by one talented individual, Toby Fox. First off, the soundtrack is sheer perfection in this game. The seamless blend of multiple themes into single songs, the sweeping synths and hilarious oddities, Toby Fox has absolutely nailed the world-building music that still tears across the internet to this day. These characters immediately grab your attention never let go. The story is well-crafted, introspective, and one of the most memorable I have ever played. The combat is fun and challenging, and while it’s not my favorite, it gets the job done.

    What I can’t talk about here is what you need to experience for yourself, which is basically everything else. A must-play gem.

    The retro vibes of this 2D adventure/RPG is really good especially the music. The characters are funny, sometimes a little too goofy for me. The bullet-hell-shooter type combat system is decent, the puzzles are okayish, wandering around the world is sometimes a little dull. The greatest things in this game are the unpredictable story and that choices matter. Just play it through and you'llThe retro vibes of this 2D adventure/RPG is really good especially the music.     This game isn't even a game to me. It utilizes the medium so well that it feels more like a life experience more than pixels on the screen. The friendships you'll make and the lessons you'll learn last even after playing. The puzzles and bullet-hell aspects are used as more of narrative objects than objects to slow you down, and I understand why people may dislike this but I personally LOVED it. Toby Fox continues to use these commonly found aspects of video games and twist them on their heads- to tell a captivating story that will leave players in tears. The characters are amazing and lovable; going through the pacifist route of the game it feels like you're actually growing with them- like you, the player, is receiving character development as well as the characters. The art and visual aspects are simple for the most part: it's in a nostalgic 8-bit kind of style; but in my opinion this ironically adds so much life into the game. The simple style breathes life into the characters and environments akin to the old RPGs like the Mother series. Of course, there's some parts which have amazing art and animation that completely sneak up on you, especially in the key moments and fights, that add to the sincerity of these events. Temmie Chang does a brilliant job in conveying the game's emotion and character through the art and animation. My favorite part of this experience has to be the music because oh my freaking gosh THE MUSIC. It doesn't take any sort of musical genius to know that the soundtrack is the main storytelling device of this game. It's complexity and use of leitmotifs give the game so much character through giving each character their own themes, for giving crucial moments of the game heart-wrenching music that will leave an impression on your mind after playing. The music is so genius that even the most simple background tracks, or even the lack of music at all, fascinatingly weaves the story as well, which is something not a lot of games can accomplish. In conclusion: please for the love of God, buy this game. This game changed the way I look at life and the people in my life, while also helping me discover my passion of video game creation.     una completa obra maestra, el inicio del juego parece sencillo y hasta cierto punto generico, pero mientras mas vas avanzando el juego te sorprende de formas muy muy inteligentes, el gameplay aunque sea sencillo es divertido y refrescante, ya que implementa una mecanica donde hay que esquivar proyectiles enemigos cada vez que sea el turno de este ademas de que implementa un sistema deuna completa obra maestra, el inicio del juego parece sencillo y hasta cierto punto generico, pero mientras mas vas avanzando el juego te sorprende de formas muy muy inteligentes, el gameplay aunque sea sencillo es divertido y refrescante, ya que implementa una mecanica donde hay que esquivar proyectiles enemigos cada vez que sea el turno de este ademas de que implementa un sistema de karma donde tu puedes decidir si perdonar a los enemigos o matarlos, lo cual tiene mucha repercusion en la historia. la historia es sencilla pero interesante y lo que lo hace brillar son sus personajes, undertale tiene personajes secundarios con mas carisma que protagonistas en otros juegos del mismo estilo, los personajes tienen dialogo interesante, reaccionan a tus acciones e interactuan entre si, el juego tiene un humor infantil pero muy divertido, el diseño de sus mapas es sencillo pero muy bueno y su soundtrack es el mejor que yo haya escuchado jamas, ademas de que el juego tiene una muy buena moraleja de que nuestras acciones importan y son lo que moldean el mundo a nuestro alrededor.

    Undertale is a story, quite a unique one at that. However, it's also one of these games that you just HAVE to play to its end, otherwise you're just not going to get "it". "It" being the whole vision behind this game, the whole essence of it. Some people may mistakenly assume this game is a weird spin on the classic RPG: where you kill mobs in order to get stats in order to kill strongerUndertale is a story, quite a unique one at that. However, it's also one of these games that you just HAVE to play to its end, otherwise you're just not going to get "it". "It" being the whole vision behind this game, the whole essence of it. Some people may mistakenly assume this game is a weird spin on the classic RPG: where you kill mobs in order to get stats in order to kill stronger mobs until you can kick the BBG's butt, and think Undertale simply flips the script around "just because". This isn't the case: the game is about realizing that making friends is much easier than one could think, and needless violence never leads to good things. One can make friends and tie bonds in the most unexpected way, simply through an act of kindness or through a smile and pat on the back, it's not just "subverting expectations", or "relying on guilt". Undertale is an entire story, that should be savoured and enjoyed, and is simply not "overrated" or "overhyped". You MUST get to the end, and possibly play through the True Pacifist to experience some of the most clever and touching moments in the game, together with the best tracks in the game. Is it cliché at times? Sure. Some jokes are just straight up corny and sometimes the humor is a bit out there, but it's absolutely worth it. This was easily the most discussed and influential game of the last decade, and it just deserves it all. This game is an act of love from Toby Fox, and if there are some games I absolutely think one MUST play at least once in their lives, Undertale is one of them.… Expand

    Undertale just isn't a game that I like. It's a shame, since I really wanted to like it. I'm glad the rest of the internet loves it. Sadly, as much as I try, I can't change my opinion. :(

    Good game with a very basic gameplay but overall really interesting with a good story and diferent ways to play the game that will lead you to diferent outcomes. I recommend this of course.

    me gusta el undertale PERO creo que esta muy sobrevalorado el juego si es bueno pero a veces la gente solo se fijan en sans la historia,la musica y los dialogos son buenos pero la jugabilidad es algo meh el sistema como RPG es algo malo es simple pero no como pokemon ya que simple pero funcional pero el de undertale es simple y nada mas es solo o perdonar,atacar,curarse y listo.

    Undertale is a masterpiece that makes the game of bullet hell fun without making it too difficult. With good storytelling, unique music and fun characters, it's possible to feel every emotion in this game. I rarely finish a game more than once, but I can't remember how many times I've finished Undertale

    Fantastic. Story of this game is amazing. It’s really a one of the kind experience in RPG games. It’s really heartbreaking to be honest. I don’t want to spoil the fun to anyone so I highly recommend playing this yourself.

    I would say that “undertale” is one of the best games I’ve ever played and easily one of my favourites.

    . Unfortunately, it's a text-only game. If voice acting was in game for the characters, it would be awesome.
    . Plot. There are many endings to the game and among them 3 great paths (Pacifist, neutral and genocidal). You will only understand the plot and magnitude of the choices, if you complete the game in the 3 paths. But that requires to complete the game 3x from the beginning. And to get such endings you will have to seek help on the internet (tutorials).

    the gameplay at first glance might seem really basic but when you start playing it it becomes really fun, the story is really interesting and fun to walk through, you may go a lot of routes when doing your run besides the two main ones

    With multiple endings based on how you choose to play out your run, set pieces that can play out very differently based on your actions and so many incredible moments that we’d love to share but daren’t do so for risk of spoiling anything, Undertale is easily one of the indie standouts of last year.

    Through a combination of often relaxed but sometimes tense gameplay, a dreamy atmosphere, and genuine characters that feel like they’re actually alive and all living together in this isolated society of longing, Undertale transcends its medium and becomes a genuinely moving experience I would recommend to anyone who is open to a sometimes sorrowful, sometimes hilarious, always bizarre and engaging emotional journey.
