Sep 26, 2015Amazing game, extremely emotional experience. Unfortunate that people are rating it "0" to troll.
Extremely character driven. The OST is godlike and even surpasses that of LISA. Play it, and you will not regret it. -
Sep 26, 2015Not much to say, one of the greatest rpgs released in recent memory. Very unique and fun it does everything it sets out to do extremely well and has an amazing cast of characters and soundtrack.

Sep 26, 2015Fun game, I cannot find a single thing to complain about. the way the battles play it is always interesting and fresh, little secrets hidden everywhere and choices changing things make replays feel more fresh.
-
Sep 26, 2015This game serves as 3 things: A great source of nostalgia for anyone who's ever played a Mother game, a middle finger to all of the AAA titles who spent more time on open world than creativity, and one of the greatest rpgs ever made and a clear case for game of the year.

Sep 26, 2015The amount of depth this game has is astounding. From start to 'finish' I was having a blast getting immersed in this interesting story and characters hijinx. Honestly the best game Ive played in a long while.
-
Sep 26, 2015It's strange that something created in GameMaker can feel more open and fluid than the most ambitious AAA sandbox. Undertale accounts for every choice the player can make to the smallest variation, and changes in gameplay and story to present a vastly different experience every time.

Sep 26, 2015This game throws up many surprises. It's so simple and yet great fun. This game is a throwback in the graphics and sound but it all works and I love it. I highly recommend this.
-
Sep 26, 2015theres just something about this game, its enchanting in a quirky and unassuming sort of way--yes it looks like potato graphics but it doesnt matter, the person who wrote this was obviously a deep and interesting sort--just like the game. somehow, it manages to suck you in and get stuck in your head.. the music is incredibly good and the whole experience is just weirdly compelling.

Sep 26, 2015Charmingly , Fantastic. Like a good book you simply cant put down. You'll do anything to have things turn out perfectly. Innovative an interesting combat system, great characters you will love, LOVE, and hate. And best of all, not one has to get hurt in the end if you are truly determined.

Sep 25, 2015This game is simply a masterpiece, and it deserves all the praise it has recieved thus far. No game has touched me emotionally like this one, and each and every part of the game serves to be charming and full of purpose and spirit. After only 10 hours, this game rose from being unknown to me to being my #1 favorite game of all time.

Sep 25, 2015The best game I've played all year, has the most captivating characters from any RPG I've ever played, and a replayability that I won't be able to use because I can't bring myself to reset the world after getting the best ending, Undertale is truly an amazing experience.
-
Sep 25, 2015Amazing indie RPG gem that has managed to trump a number of AAA titles into being my favorite game of the year. Great soundtrack, good retro-style graphics (although the tutorial area is a bit iffy), just all around great.
-
Sep 25, 2015Make friends with a slime. Pet a dog. Have some pie. Pet another dog. Buy a spider donut. Pet a dog. Enjoy the fantastic soundtrack. You don't have to kill anyone.

Sep 25, 2015This may be one of the most emotional rides of any game out there. I didn't think it was possible for a game to elicit such a response from me any more. I was dead wrong. Seriously, I'd pay full price for this, and it's only $10. Pick it up, you will not regret it.

Sep 25, 2015I can't say I've ever played an indie game that's left this profound an emotional impact on my. creative writing, lovable characters, unique gameplay, make for a truly unique experience. Takes all the right pages of inspiration from the Mother series while maintaining its own unique atmosphere. Highly reccomened

Sep 25, 2015An absolutely stellar RPG/bullet hell hybrid with great writing and an unforgettable soundtrack. Was advertised as a 6 hour game, yet I'm clocking in at over 24 and *still* don't feel like I've found everything. Can't recommend it enough.
-
Sep 25, 2015Absolutely amazing game that keeps it fresh while developing the story. It should help aspire other creators of games while they try to expand upon the formula that made this one so unique, clever, and over great to play.
-
Sep 25, 2015This game is amazing. Referencing Earthbound, Cave Story and other games of this style, it manages to convey tons of emotion in every single segment.
Skele-tons of it.
The picture it paints at the end, when you've met all objectives, is so beautiful, that not playing it twice in a row is an act of D E T E R M I N A T I O N -

Sep 25, 2015This is honestly one of the best games ever made. Everyone should play it because you only needs a keyboard and speakers for it. If you have ever enjoyed any single-player video game experiences, you will enjoy this game. There's nothing else to say really.
-
Sep 25, 2015One of the best games I've played this year. Heavily inspired by the MOTHER series, this title is sad, funny and heartrending. Full of surprises, this short RPG has already became one of my favorite games of all time.

Sep 24, 2015This is the most immersive game i played in a long time and it looks like a snes/nes game.
If there ever was a shining example, of the fact that games dont need impressive grafics, or famous voice actors, and an orchestral Hollywood score to make you feel something, and care about imaginary characters, than this is it. -

Sep 24, 2015There has never been a game to make you feel as many emotions as strongly as this. This is not a game anymore. This transcends entertainment. This will enrich your soul. This is something else.
-
Sep 24, 2015Probably the best RPG I've ever played. Incredible depth, great reactivity, wonderful humour, touching sadness, and a powerful message, combined with one of the best rpg combat systems I've ever seen.

Sep 24, 2015This single greatest game I have ever played.
I pray it gets more attention, because the developer deserves the money, and more gamers deserve to experience this magic! -
Sep 24, 2015A small, short adventure with some decent gameplay, that manages to stay fresh and change just enough to keep it entertaining to play.
Certainly a very emotional story and extremely reactive, utilizing the video game medium to a very large extent.
The game is ugly as sin, but that hardly matters when it's all said and done. Highly recommending, but wait till it's 5 bucks. -
Sep 24, 2015This game on the base level is a very fun Earthbound-like, but once you play more you realize it gets waaay more deeper. Undertale is the first game I've every played where every time I play through the game again it's still as interesting and as fun as my first time playing. I think undertale might also be the first game where it makes you feel extreamly bad for deleting your save file.
-
Sep 23, 2015Undertale is a special game one that is not afraid to mess with you or do the unconventional. It has innovative and fun gameplay and tons of humor spread around a beautifully crafted world which at some points is a bit creepy. The game knows how to play with your emotions too. The soundtrack is great and the choices you make decide how the game ends.
-
Sep 21, 2015Wow, the game seems like it wouldn't be that enticing, but the writing and design is top drawer. IF you are on the fence at all about it, buy it. Go, now. I'll wait.

Sep 18, 2015An instant classic, an ambitious yet successful attempt at knocking every other indie game out of the competition. Not much I can say about the game without ruining it, just that it merges many different genres and combines them with great humor and music.
-
Sep 18, 2015I just finished the pacifist side of the game and i have to say, it was god damn BEAUTIFUL! To me this game is a masterpiece of a game that few will ever surpass or even come close to. Im not good at explaining things so ill just say that i was so attached to every character i met and i will miss them all when i kill everyone to see what happens on the genocide side of the game ; p

Sep 17, 2015A brilliant and engaging tale that keeps surprising! The enemies are fun and varied and the game even breaks the 4th wall. Really unique and punny! The combat is simplistic but fun but might put some people off
-
Sep 16, 2015Clever, fun, and full of heart. The closest comparison I can think of in tone are the Mother series, and the games of Yoshirou Kimura. The type of game that uses weirdness, humour and innocence to teach you something about how you approach games and maybe a little bit about yourself.

Jan 16, 2017Undertale is absolutely unique. It's a RPG masterpiece full of weird characters and a moving message.
-
Mar 4, 2016With multiple endings based on how you choose to play out your run, set pieces that can play out very differently based on your actions and so many incredible moments that we’d love to share but daren’t do so for risk of spoiling anything, Undertale is easily one of the indie standouts of last year.
-
Feb 23, 2016Through a combination of often relaxed but sometimes tense gameplay, a dreamy atmosphere, and genuine characters that feel like they’re actually alive and all living together in this isolated society of longing, Undertale transcends its medium and becomes a genuinely moving experience I would recommend to anyone who is open to a sometimes sorrowful, sometimes hilarious, always bizarre and engaging emotional journey.
