    The game isn't bad because of pronouns, a natural part of most languages. It's bad because it's empty, with facial animations that stir up the uncanny valley response and voice acting that sounds as though it was generated by artificial intelligence.

    Bethesda can't keep feeding us the same safe story and outdated engine over and over and expect to actually end up with anything innovative.

    This is not skyrim in space, it is oblivion in space. Once you understand that your expectations will be set. This game is very inconsistent. To start several aspects of the game are 10/10, including the art direction, textures, absolute depth of content, sound (and voices), music and atmosphere.     However, the game is extremely lazy and incompetent when it comes to other aspects, close to 3/10. This includes the story which is in my opinion 0/10 and the world building and level design. There IS SO MUCH that can be done in space, but the combat is barely different from fallout 4/76. Every conversation with NPCs results in a fetch quest. I s*it you not, in 1 hour in new atlantis I stumbled upon 5 different fetch quests including getting a coffee for a Janitor. What in the actual crap is this? The writers of this game are absolutely incompetent, it feels like a clone of the previous games writing-wise. And the role-playing aspects aren't improved upon since Fallout 3. In fact in FO3 you could role-play more effectively. The quest designers and writers need to be FIRED. The UI design IS ATROCIOUS. It gives me anxiety.

    Un juego anclado en el pasado tanto gráfica como jugablemente. Historia sosa, personajes sin gracia y lleno de bugs como todo juego de Bethesda. El universo abierto que prometieron no le llega ni a la suela de los zapatos a juegos como no mans sky, lo único que se salva es la iluminación.

    I wanted to like this game. But it's MID. No amount of Xbots can change the course of history. Multiple high-budget game this year under the Bethesda banner leaving Microsoft holding the Bethesda bag.

    Todd Howard should be ashamed of himself and his career. They gave us nothing new. Old engine, old crafting style, old dialogue system, outdated ui, outdated inventory, outdated graphics, outdated as hell combat gameplay, typical outdated crappy Ai npc, and more loading screens than I have ever seen.

    They could have cared, I mean so many fkn years spent developing this game. Were they actually working on Starfield? Where did their budget actually go?
    Imagine being a Destiny player and fed up with the NeverChanging seasons. Mid after mid after mid.
    That's how it feels to pick up and play Starfield.

    Who develops a game where the first 15 hours are absolute **** boring, and tedious?

    The only thing I love about this game is that on PC I can toggle Command Mode and remove the self-destructive Weight Capacity mechanic.

    The saddest thing about this entire situation is this-
    Xbox owners have been getting spoonfed games that have been marketed as great for so long that they no longer recognize what makes a game great. So while the rest of the world got to play amazing games like BG3, God of War, Last of Us, (games that pushed the bar for story, graphics, and game design) they were too busy drooling over the likes of Redfall and Starflop.

    No amount of pop-up review sites being given advance copies and $50 can change the fact that this game is 20 years old in design with a half-assed paint job.

    Now I see why Microsoft gave this game away.    … Expand

    Playing on PC and while the game can look very nice in some spots, I have encountered some pretty serious performance issues. Specifically the framerate. My hardware is better than the minimum requirements and I am still getting very noticeable frame drops even with everything turned on Low. I have an Nvidia RTX graphics card and can't help but wonder why DLSS is not an option.     At first, I thought the game was tedious and too complicated with all of its new mechanics but I decided to give it a couple more hours to see what the game is truly about. Since then I've found myself coming back to it over and over again since the early release. Starfield rekindled that feeling I had playing Skyrim as a teen.     Sure, no game is perfect, and I've noticed a few minor issues here and there, but they don't take away from the overall fantastic experience. I can't help but wonder why some players are being so harsh in their ratings. Starfield is a space odyssey I've been waiting for, and it's delivering more than I expected

Técnicamente el motor es muy parecido a Fallout pero es entendible por la cantidad de cosas y detalles, pero es mejorable algunas texturas de plantas. Las historias hacen que te pierdas en el universo, sin embargo fue algo abrumante de tantas cosas que puedes hacer y tantas mecánicas, incluso para mí que soy un jugador veterano de Bethesda.

    Starfield is a great game. You can see the years of dedication from Bethesda. I mainly appreciate that it's a single-player game with no multiplayer component. you can do anything! Funny bugs instead of annoying but that's normal for the size of this game.

    I agree with the critic reviews. This game is fantastic! What I like best is that Bethesda lets you play however you’d like. You want to be a space pirate? Go for it. You want to be an explorer? Explore to your heart’s content. You feel like being a chef? You can do that too. This game has endless possibilities and I love that. Overall 10/10 and my personal GOTY.

I have to say from what I played it has delivered pretty well as to my expectations. The beginning of the game starts off well and builds the story pretty quickly. The combat in space is pretty decent. There could be improvements, however the game is massive. I overall see myself playing this as much as I played fallout 4 in the past. The modding scene for this game will more than likely be massive.… Expand

"..I am not a scientist, it is my personal opinion... this game has touched me emotionally... I feel as if touching the NASA...". So I decide to check it by myself and guess what, the game was gloriuous in most ways, people associate exploration with infinites worlds (most empty), in this case u can explore, live in the way u want, choose ur type of gameplay and take ur own decisions, every interaction surprise you in a way that only a experienced gamer can realize, but not everything it's perfect, u find a lot of bugs and errors that can affect the immersion, the game its optimized but they are losing some ways to make it better. Conclusion: If you wanna know the truth about this game, give it a try, don't follow tendencies just to be cool, get it on your gamepass or console, and if u play on pc take a look on the requirements!!!     It’s very clear that many of the negative reviews left here are from bot accounts and/or people who have not yet played the game. Starfield has far surpassed my expectations. I have already played over 30 hours and have enjoyed every second. Starfield is definitely a slow burn and takes a few hours to build up. However, when it does build up, it is a masterpiece.

    Played it for about 40 minutes, then returned it. First off, the pronoun thing absolutely took me out of the game. I don’t play games to be reminded of our current reality. Secondly, it’s boring. People say it gets better 10+ hours in, but I wasn’t convinced. I’ll pick it up when it goes on sale, but not worth $70.

    Ai sucks, bad exploration, missions feel like doing the same chores over and over (apart from a few that have semi interesting stories), I hate the idea of point of no return (biggest fault of Cyberpunk imo), bad bad optimization on pc. Cyberpunk looks 5 times better and runs much much better, cyberpunks world feel alive, the worlds in starfield feel like they are full of robots wearingAi sucks, bad exploration, missions feel like doing the same chores over and over (apart from a few that have semi interesting stories), I hate the idea of point of no return (biggest fault of Cyberpunk imo), bad bad optimization on pc. Cyberpunk looks 5 times better and runs much much better, cyberpunks world feel alive, the worlds in starfield feel like they are full of robots wearing human skin.     An absolute masterpiece. I'm grateful for Gamepass. It helped me get in touch with my game of the year. I can't decide if to get it on Steam or not. I probably will. This is one is worth it.

    Starfield is great. Simple. If you loved Skyrim, Fallout 4 you will love this. It's right there. The whole space aspect is more of a backdrop than a core mechanic.     I have had NO gamebreaking bugs. Game runs at a solid 40-50 FPS on my RTX3070. Is that perfect? hell no. BUt its playable. And I am certain that future patches and optimizations will bring that number up further.

    I rate this game a solid 8/10. It works for me. And I sunk 30-ish hours into it already.

For instance, until the release of New Vegas and Baldur's Gate 3, it was my favorite game in terms of shaping the story. New Vegas brought innovation, Starfield didn't, but the storytelling aspect that applied to New Vegas or the base-building feature added with Fallout 4 is also applicable to Starfield. Yes, Starfield didn't bring this innovation, but all these features make Starfield much better than New Vegas and Fallout 4. Moreover, games like Tears of the Kingdom and Baldur's Gate 3 released this year, instead of introducing significant innovations, added improvements that completed their series (similar to what Starfield brought). In a sense, Starfield's job this year is easier, but still, it seems challenging after BG3 and TOTK. Features like establishing outposts, engaging in smuggling, battling smugglers, and conflicts with other ships and outposts are genuinely enjoyable. The characters have returned to their old, dull state, and the sense of exploration is quite boring. Okay, the game is massive, but this is something that can still be improved. Nevertheless, the game is fantastic, and since 2018, no game has satisfied me this much. Thanks, Bethesda."… Expand

    Very boring game, feels more like a fast travel simulator.
    Some say it gets better after 12 hours or so,but for me this game and its npc's feel soulless.
    Maybe with some heavy modding it will be better,as for now not worth the price.

    La verdad es un gran juego y si lo compran en la aplicación de Xbox lo podran jugar en la Computadora y seguirle en la consola mi caso lo juego en mi Asus Rog Ally y llegando a casa le continuo en mi Series X, tiene una excelente historia, y la jugabilidad es excelente, muy recomendado el juego.

    Una aventura RPG qué nadie debe perderse, de lo mejor que he jugado esta generación y la anterior, le he metido bastantes horas al juego y puedo decir que este será uno de los mejores juegos de la generación, ojalá la gente deje a un lado las guerras de consolas y lo juegue.

    ame for sure is demanding on Pc, but wow it’s amazing. So much to do, you get distracted discovering new side quests and interactions. Combat feels amazing, ship customization, character, weapons. For those reviews criticizing graphics and animations, just trolls that watched a tik tok video or just want to destroy the reviews. Im enjoying it more than Baldurs Gate 3.

    It's not a perfect game but the care and love with which it was made is admirable. The soundtracks are wonderful, full of atmosphere and all created using a symphony orchestra. The number of quests is off the charts as are the settings and the feeling of immersion as well.     Grate story, graphics are sick and I keep losing track of what I'm doing next. I start the main story, get distracted for 3hrs. Get to a planet and end up discovering 15 things I want to do. Have not feel so overwhelmed in a game since Morrowind.

Yesterday I sat down for an hour or two worth of Freestar missions. I started the initiate mission, then decided to buy the 400k Narwhal that I was under leveled for. So, I decided to grind out Crimson Fleet missions which somehow turned into exploring a random moon, which then lead me to wanting to find the perfect location for an outpost. While mining the materials for said outpost my loins drove me back into space to try and find where I could get a shielded cargo from. Which in turn lead to the frustration of getting a shielded cargo and trying to figure out how to attach it. Once I got that done, I finally decided it was a good session and put the controller down 5 hours later with one Freestar Ranger mission accomplished.… Expand

    It’s exactly what you want and expect from a Bethesda game. You don’t care about a harmless bug, or a loading screen every hour. You want a game you can sink your teeth into and play for years. This is the next Skyrim.

    Fantastic & MASSIVE game with the magical touch you would expect from Besthesda.
    Those criticizing the graphics must be playing another game... game looks gorgeous.
    Do yourself a favor and try it for yourself with the game pass. I'm in love with this game.

    Perfecto, entretenido, buenas gráficas, historia interesante, cientos de cosas que hacer, cada vez que juego más me encanta, muchas armas, muchos trajes, excelente personalización, varias facciones, varios idiomas, este juego no lo acabo ni en 5 años con toda la exploración que permite, modificar la nave y a tu personaje es posible y se queda corto todo lo que aún he visto.

    This is about as good as Skyrim.
    Fantastic production values. Piracy is a bundle of fun. Planet exploration is relaxing. Once you start playing around with it, the physics this engine is capable of are incredible.

    Where are the Russian subtitles? The Bethesda forgot that 40-50 million Russian speakers do not live in Russia :(

    Starfield is the disappointment of the year. 10 hours into the game and I don't quite understand what the ship is for, apart from the fact that its combat is terrible. The shooting system sucks, and the exploration is extremely massive. Apart from Fallout 76 I don't know if Bethesda has ever made a worse game.

    Amazing game, it takes a while to introduce the many different systems and even a bit longer for you to get used to the UI. But once it clicks it becomes the best bethesda game to date.

    Played for 7 hours. Hated it. Refunded it.

    Spent the whole next day rethinking my decision. Rebought it, played non-stop and now I'm on new game +.

    Great game with wonderful story and immersive game world and quests. Do not compare it to Star Citizen or No Man Sky because this is not flight simulator. I tried Star Citizen and honestly it has nothing on Stafield except more involved atmospheric flight. Who cares about that tho? If I want to enjoy flying experience I just boot up MSFS.

    Probably the best money I've spent in a long time. The story is captivating. The graphics are amazing and I've had 0 bugs or freezes in 60 hours of gameplay. This game is a must play!

    I fell in love with Starfield. It's my cup of sci-fi and I can't wait to spend the next thirty, fifty, maybe seventy hours here. I enjoy the exploration, the shootouts, the art style, the ship building, and the diverse worlds. I gratefully acknowledge the good optimization and the absence of major bugs. But I can't overlook the flaws. There are bad animations, ugly faces and repetitive moments.[Issue#329]

    In a year dominated by sequels to franchise favorites, there was a hope that Starfield would carve its own path to success. While the team at Bethesda should be commended for taking such a big swing, there’s no denying that the game doesn’t feel like a cohesive work. Maybe continued support and future sequels will make something more meaningful out of a work that is clearly deeply enamored with both science fiction and space exploration. Unforunately, this first launch has had far more mixed results than desired.
