Fixed an issue where Meshif's camel made no noises.
Fixed an issue where there was no sound when Lorath kicks Meshif awake.

Patch 1.1.0 is so marvelous ! I love it !

The game is nearly unplayable with the changes that Blizzard implemented. Glaring issues with game play and quality of life go ignored. No end game to speak of. Repetitive and boring.

Negative aspects of the game are now even worse. Cooldowns are even longer with the cooldown reduction being nerfed. Diablo 4 now grindier! Buy our battlepass! Nerf to Xp gain as well as class survivability to slow gameplay loops to a grinding halt. On the upside the campaign cutscenes were decent...

If you insist on playing the game, play a rogue or druid.

It's unforgivable for a company with their history and track record to make this bad of an ARPG. I wish I could get a refund.

"World of Diablocraft Online" that's how it feels and plays. This is not a true Diablo. They took Diablo lore and slapped it on a MMO pretending to be an ARPG. I give it a solid 6/10 for the artwork, graphics, story and sound. Other than that, it is 2/10. It is so disappointing to play as a Diablo fan of 1, 2, and 3.

I got my wife into D3 a few years ago and she liked it alot, we were able to run the same classes and share any loot that dropped while we were both present... not anymore. Can't trade any legendary for any reason. So us sharing any drops that the other may need cannot be done. She tried D4 and can't stand it, and I don't blame her.

Here are some cons that is what I'm basing my rating on:

    - Monetization (Extremely over priced cosmetics and scam season passes)
    - Bosses aren't hard, just very long time consuming damage sponges
    - Way too many MMO aspects for a true Diablo game
    - Level scaling
    - Lack of build diversity that's actually worth playing
    - No single player option at all. Forced to be in a world with other players.
    - Repetitive bosses/dungeons
    - Serious balance issues
    - Lack of legendary diversity
    - Horses are needed to travel on an unnecessarily huge obstacle course map with literal monster road blocks
    - No map overlay
    - Slow paced

That is until the season 1 patch which just made it unfun and worse of a grind. I’ll play other games and see if they fix it.

As a long time fan of Blizzard games, dating all the way back to Warcraft 2 in 1995, I had high hopes for Diablo 4. And it is a very fun game, as long as you're leveling and playing for the story. Once you unlock the end-game content, however, everything falls apart.

Nothing about the end-game content makes me want to keep playing, at all. 60-100 is a slog. The "best" way to level in

Nothing about the end-game content makes me want to keep playing, at all. 60-100 is a slog. The "best" way to level in the end-game is to run nightmare dungeons over and over and over, which quickly gets repetitive. Crafting materials are rare, and Blizzard keeps making them more and more difficult to obtain. Class power is extremely imbalanced, and instead of buffing the classes that need it, Blizzard nerfs everyone across the board.

If this is the direction Diablo 4 is headed, count me out. Maybe the game will be worth playing in a year or two but for now, unless you only care about the first half of the game, I'd recommend to avoid it.

Don't buy if you respect your time, they don't look at what's fun, they look at numbers. If they see 100% people are using a single Sorc spell their small brains asume that as "That must be overpowered" instead of just looking deeper into the class and realizing that every other skill sucks.

Hopefully the user score will get the point across their thick skull. Idiotic team.

I loved being able to pop in once or twice a week for a couple hours and actually make some progress. The latest patch was just created to make everything take so much longer to get through. I'm not sure if they just needed to slow things down to keep the more hardcore players going until they could create more content or what the reasoning was, but if they wanted to go this route, it would have just been nice to have an option for more of a casual option vs a hardcore player option where they could choose that more brutal experience. That may not be realistic, but I think they went too far too fast and just crushed my hopes for this game.

I remember a few of the reviews I watched stated that the game was for the more casual player that loved Diablo 2 and wanted to experience some of that nostalgia. That is why I purchased the game for $70 in the first place, but I feel like that was money well wasted at this point. Disappointing turn of events for sure.

This game started out okay, but it seemed like it was in a promising state to be improved upon over time. But this is Blizzard.

Despite bugs, an unfinished and badly written linear story that's only intended to slow down leveling, a prewritten fake username submitted Q&A for a dev stream, and highly requested improvements from the start, people were wrongfully comfortable with the problems described below before they worsened, and were excited for a new Diablo game (even comparing how good the release was to how terrible D3 was).

This game caught the attention of most of my friends that play games. Over 90% of my friends list (casual gamers and hardcore gamers alike) were playing it consistently each night for the first month, which is rare considering limited free time and how many new games there are to choose from.

Besides what was mentioned above, terrible itemization, lack of common sense quality of life implementation or social features, and over-the-top conditional affixes were main complaints and have been mostly ignored or shelved for empty promises to be added 4-6 months from now, when exploits caused from their patches are fixed within hours.

The problems and worsening of gameplay have only grown larger over time due to unfixed broken builds (and a month-long blinding blight animation bug on necromancer that made partying with them undesirable), skills being nerfed or gutted to the point where they're unquestionably useless or outright removed from classes, a loot table that drops majority of items intended for people 20-30 levels lower than your current level, level caps, enemy density reductions, reduction of xp earned, increase of cooldown reductions, reduction of the main aspects that determine damage, and nerfing damage and damage reduction while buffing enemy damage in game-wide patches to "compensate for powerful" seasonal mechanics that don't equally empower players (especially nonseasonal characters that can't access seasonal mechanics, rendering all nonseasonal players' build options completely useless).

Resistances to elements were added and even expanded on items and aspects, but they admitted that it's completely broken and would not resist anything by the time you have died, and fixing this problem was stated to take multiple seasons to resolve.

Before the 1.1 patch, Lvl 120 bosses in nightmare dungeons were easier to kill than the Lvl 100 "pinnacle boss", and now they're both out of the question.

Hardcore mode was already out of the question due to bugs and server problems that could delete your character without any fault of the player.

This only shows that Blizzard believes unneeded intentional slowdowns, limits of stash tabs, more limitation on viable builds for a game that has a higher complexity of possible builds, and inconveniences are more important to prevent players from having fun while slowly grinding the same 30 dungeons monotonously from lvl 50 to lvl 100 for an endgame that does not exist.

It seems like a team of people that don't play the game at all have completely ignored all feedback while lying that they were paying attention to feedback, instead looking at spreadsheets to find and remove the most popular meta mechanics that their development choices shoehorned players to gravitate towards without making anything viable to choose to play, not to mention completely gutting any capability to play or enjoy Sorcerer class MULTIPLE TIMES. The balancing team is not creating balance, they're making the game unbearable to enjoy across all classes and builds.

Despite experiencing all of Blizzard's previous terrible games, I made an exception to purchase this game due to the baseline of quality they presented during multiple beta tests and preseason gameplay, but Blizzard does not value the time and money spent, feedback, or enjoyment of its customers.

My friends that played this game every day for the first month were excited for Season 1, but since the latest patch notes have already stated they've lost hope and have moved on to other games, and the game's reddit is on fire.

I'm not hopeful for the "campfire" dev stream that is scheduled one day after the new season starts with these new changes, and I'm moving on to indie games from passionate developers that listen to their customers' feedback rather than spoonfeed "this is what's good for you" decisions.

The new state of this game further cements the fact that current and future game quality from AAA developers will continue to decline due to leadership that have no interest or passion in gaming besides how quickly it brings money in, and how quickly developers can release a game with depressing alpha quality state.

The "end game" is boring and repetitive. It seems like every system in the game is there to slow you down and artificially inflate your play time. This recent patch (1.1) is absolutely terrible. They did absolutely nothing when it comes to quality of life improvements and just nerfed everything into the ground. Some of the things this latest patch did was lowered XP rates, lowered loot drops, added more affixes to gear nobody wanted making it even harder to get something actually good, increased cooldowns and lowered all damage and damage resistance for players in the game (Just to list a few). Again, making the game slower so people have to invest more time. This patch just screams "the developers don't play their own game" and it shows. The community is not happy and they have every right to be.

This game had such potential to be an awesome game and who knows, some day it might be. But at the time this review was written it is far from even a decent game. Going to shelf the game and revisit it in 5-6 months with fingers crossed that they actually take the community's feedback into consideration and improve the game.

Worse, development team seem to not just be completely out of touch with what players actually want, they seem to be deliberately at odds with it.
The overwhelming, #1 criticism of the game is that the endgame is a slow, boring, slog. The latest past nerfed player damage and survivability, buffed monsters, lowered experience gains, and increased reward costs... 100% the opposite direction of what players are clamoring for.

It's clear that the developers have turned a blind eye to the overwhelming criticism. Glaring issues pointed out by players remain unaddressed, and it's apparent that the devs are more interested in pushing their misguided vision than in delivering a game that resonates with fans.

Diablo 4 stands as a testament to the incompetence of its developers and the devastating consequences of ignoring player feedback. It's a tragedy to witness a once-beloved franchise brought to its knees by the very people entrusted with its revival. As a long-time fan, I can only hope that the developers take this as a hard lesson and reevaluate their approach, but until then, I advise anyone to steer clear of this catastrophic failure.
