    Nothing to do in my guild for those Lv100 players, a lot of players have:
    -beaten Uber Lilith
    -completed Tier 100 Nightmare dungeon (for no obvious benefits other than titles) -killed like 5,000 players in wt4 (I don't have the numbers but we killed a lot of players and each other until there's no more hota barbs in our area to fight with) in PvP and bought all the cosmetics and saved    Nothing to do in my guild for those Lv100 players, a lot of players have:
    -beaten Uber Lilith
    -completed Tier 100 Nightmare dungeon (for no obvious benefits other than titles)
    -killed like 5,000 players in wt4 (I don't have the numbers but we killed a lot of players and each other until there's no more hota barbs in our area to fight with) in PvP and bought all the cosmetics and saved up to 700,000 seeds with nothing to trade for.
    -upgraded all the glyghs to Lv21
    May I ask, with all due respect,
    when will we see more content? Or more world tiers? More legendary aspects and uniques?
    Do we have to wait until late July to see changes?

    Cause right now, not gonna like we have a community with almost 1,000 players and its dying drastacally fast because of the lack of content, even big time diablo 4 streamers in our region stopped playing now. They play Hearthstone or Apex now.
    This is not simply a rant, i am geniunely and extremly concerned about the future of this game, being a guildmaster of a 1,000 players community.    … Expand

    Pre S1 game was mid , but the latest update killed my will to ever log in.

    Took my lightning storm druid custom build I had made and threw it against the rocks. I was actually one of the few enjoying the game before the patch even, and now you destroy my character?

    I don't care about seasons. I won't play them. I don't care about cosmetics, or Battle Pass.     I am utterly enraged that an ACTION RPG is this cumbersome and slow. I regret spending so much money on this game. I utterly regret it. Blizzard to me is dead. I will never automatically now think that any future game of theirs will be any good. I quit WoW a few months ago too. I will NEVER buy another game of theirs ever again. Disappointing

    Totally out of touch company that still sucks. The game had promise but its latest patch has made it clear they don't listen to consumers and just want to do what all major companies do now. Maximize the grind and pain at the loss of fun. The latest patch killed the game to where it's just not fun to try and play. I wanted to give you one more shot. Never again.

    The game is terrible, Microtransactions. Terrible gameplay loop. You reach a point where you continuously ask yourself why you are playing the game... there is no point. Whenever you level up enemies' level with you. Because of this you feel just as strong when you were in level 1, there is no point. The game is a hot mess, and I want my money back!

    Been waiting for Diablo 4 for so long. Finally the game arived but it'd totally overpriced. The Inventory is even smaller than in Diablo 3 which is just redicolous. How on earth can you fail so miserably and put a much smaller inventory when people clearly been beging for years to have a bigger one in Diablo 3.

    No crafting , No item trading and that in an online game in 2023

    In Diablo 3 people where asking to put all gems into your secret stash to save some free inventory slots and what did they do in Diablo 4? They made these gems take even more inventory space than in Diablo 3.

    Normal monsters without any buffs keeps stunning you even when you are in your berserk mode.

    It even has Season Pass on it which is Pay2Win no matter how you see it. Skins are totally overpriced. Since the game is so hard overpriced, I'm skipping on it. Played the Beta and thats it.    … Expand

    I got the ultimate version and completed 100% of the game up to world 4 torment. Clocked in around 100h.

    The game is a massive disappointment and super boring, nowhere near worth 100 euros.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Well the game started strong but once you finish the campaign and get over the honeymoon phase everything is different. Here are some of my pros and cons for the game

    Pros:

    The Campaign is fun but Lilith is a bit overused... Every scene is Lilith did that Lilith comanded that etc,

    The music and soundtracks are amazing.

    Graphics are good and skills feel smooth to use.

    The zones feels unique and fun to explore.

    The nostalgia bait is real. I like that you returned characters like Mephisto, Duriel etc.

    Cons:

    The late game is boring. There is no point in doing Nightmare dungeons once you level up your glyphs up to 21.

    Dungeons are boring there is like 7 dungeons in total the cave, the frozen cave, fort/castle, the tumor demonic cave, and missing 1 or two.. Literally coppy/pasted all over the map. Also the objectives are pointless and just busy work for the sake of busy work once you doo all of the archetypes of dungeons you have done them all.

    Renown is boring to farm. Dont lock power in collectable/exploration content. If i have to redo all of the Renown grind again in the season i will just quit the game it was okay to explore the first time but half way done i was already tired

    The Paragon board is just plain stupid. Whats the point of having such a big and somewhat confusing branching tree when 90% of the nodes are 5 stats.

    Glyphs are overpowered making gear upgrades to feel useless.

    Why ugly cosmetics cost 25$ in 70$ game (and yes the game is not worth the 70$ price point)

    There is literally no balance in the game 14k life 16k armor and who knows how much dmg reduction and getting one shotted by archer that i dont even see on my screen.

    There is to much pointless stats. Whats the point to have 3 - 4 different types of close damage, range damage, core damage etc.. Sometimes simpler is better.

    Constant nerfing on everything making classes weak and unbalanced. Instead of nerfing everything start buffing and balance thing.

    What is the point of Capstone dungeons when somebody can just carry you. Make it challenge that you have to beat.

    Stop trying to appeal to everyone. You cant satisfy every single person in the world. Choose your player base and focus on that... Decide for who is this game made... Casuals, Diablo fans, Hardcore games.... When you try to be liked by everyone you will just bee disliked by everyone. Take for example FromSoftware and their Dark souls series.. For years they make games for their core audience everyone else was crying for, easy mods more accessible etc. But they stick to their core fanbase and fans and in the end they got rewarded with breaking record hit.

    Potential con: I know i know they said 5324 times the cash shop will be cosmetics only... But i know i just know in couple of months we will start getting paid stash tab, character slots, exp boosts and who know what else... I paid 100$ i will pay like 100$ more dollars for expansions and yet the game have business model of free to play game.

    I am long time Diablo fan and i really hope this game will become good.. The base is here just need a lot more work... Right now if you are Arpg lover and Diablo fan i cannot recommend this game.    … Expand

This game doesn't really have an endgame, and the loot is uninspired - boring. Then they go and pull a patch that cripples survivability (I have near max dr rolls and armor % and after the patch get one shot by tier 100 nmd basic monsters). OnI had a lot of fun with the campaign, but I don't buy these kinds of games for the story. I buy them for the loot grind and the engaging endgame. On top of that, instead of reworking damage buckets, they just slashed vulnerability and crit, effectively lowering the damage ceiling while at the same time making everything else you can do in game slower.     It all went downhill with patch 1.1.0 where instead of buffing sorcerer they nerfed everything into the ground, nerfed fun and made everything slow and depressing.

    It's a very terrible game. It's not fun at all and it's full of elements that annoy users. There is no such thing as diversity in builds. If you don't do certain builds, you will have a very terrible experience. It takes elements from Elden Ring, WoW, PoE and Lost Ark, but the mixture is terrible. If you are thinking of buying this game, I recommend you to buy it when it is 90% off.

    I grew up with diablo 3 and was excited to finally play the next game in the line. It felt pretty good to play through the story as a sorcerer up to level 50. Then the game basically stops and you start to notice it is basically a glorified soulless mobile game, only made so blizzard can get more money out of your 70 dollar purchase. I went back to grim dawn after this to confirm my sentiment and this old game with terrible graphics was a better arpg, than diablo 4 will ever be. It's honestly sad what blizzard has become.

    Update 2: Can I give a negative score now? While ARPG ladder/season character resets are standard, not including the rebirth system for characters (allowing characters you already have to reset on seasonal servers to continue playing them) and only 10 character slots (even d3 had 20) is once again going backward in development and another perfect example of blizzard devs not having learned anything in 10 years of community feedback.

    Updated review: My 2 is now a 0, here is why:
    Now that I have over 100 hours in the game and a lvl 100 character, I see this going the way of overwatch 2. Blizzard is quick to address their issues in the game, and not the player communities, with promises that content will come in months that are simple quality of life updates to bate people to stay (season 2 for a gem tab? ok..) while they are quick to nerf builds and pve content immediately after the early access as if to punish those that didn't pay for the privilege of 3 days playing time. Instead of fixing serious things they think nerfing mob density in EVERY dungeon was top priority Despite all the other problems like bad story writing and over bloated world tasks that are pointless grinds for renound, the one thing that has always made Diablo....Diablo: the insane number of mobs overrunning your character and you killing everything, is being viewed as a bad thing by a developer that pioneered this type of gameplay. This spells doom for anything going forward, as they are not approaching this game as a diablo style game anymore and I doubt development going forward will give us the dungeon crawl we wanted, expect open world map clearing bull@%#$.    … Expand

    Diablo was great, Diablo 2 was great, Diablo 3 not so much and Diablo 4 was ok till the huge nerf patch & that was the nail in the coffin for me.
    Sadly I had to uninstall earlier today as I cannot bear to play anymore but will keep myself updated to see how it matures.
    It deserves a 6 for what it was on launch but a Zero now after the patch.

Then the price is a shocker, but hey it's the Diablo game. Then reality sets in, after all this time almost no storage, no armory with load outs (i mean even Immortal has one), no leader board (again Immortal has it)I waited for years for the next Diabo game only to be insulted with Immortal and do I have a phone? Then a BP that's basically a joke for free only 23 tiers, verses another 67 if I pay or 67 plus a 20 tier jump for a whopping $25! But it's not about the money? Further if I wanted to play normal, not season, the BP can't even be used? And forget Hard Core gameplay, because Blizzard has still not fixed disconnect deaths that cause everyone to quit HC in D3! You cant save platinum from it to buy another battlepass and in season 4 you will be 2 platinum coins short for free battlepass.     Don't trust streamers, as they only play for content, not because the game is any good.

    Also, monetization is horrendous.

    This is early beta state product based on 13 years old tech engine. Refunded. I hope there will be major personnel changes at Blizzard after the Microsoft takeover.

    Campaign of this game is really good and worth the money unfortunately resto of the game is really bad.

    D4 is a cash grab that is not fun. The graphics don't really hold up against scrutiny and the grind is..... not the fun kind of grind.

    Edit: After some more time I must say: Don't buy this. It is shallow and gives a **** about how it can be more fun for players. It does care a lot about how to take more money from the players, so if you like such then yea, buy it and play!

    Itemization is bad, storyline is mediocre, questing is tedius and repetetive. UI and inventory management is horrible. You can't even kill Diablo anymore! Spend your money elsewhere, or go play lost ark or poe for free!

I played the beta and it was really good, nice graphics, sound, gameplay. This game as it stands right now is being castrated by the developers with horrible updates, and nerfs that aren’t needed. This so called game review bombing here isn’t that, it’s legitimate reviews by users.. This game is deserving of that because honestly it’s pretty bad now. Imagine me (Sorc) spending hundreds of hours in the game finding a build that works half decent. The Sorc btw is already the weakest class and lowest survival rate in the entire game.. So with the updates they nerf this class into the ground making it way worse and completely useless and also my hundreds of hours a complete waste of time and my life.

    I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone with how the devs handle updates and keep ruining the game for everyone. You won’t be able to build a character to keep without them ruining your build with huge nerfs. For example spend 100 hours building a class.. few weeks later it’s nerfed into oblivion.. now start over and over.. this games a complete waste of time, money, and overall happiness.    … Expand

    The gameplay was really good before they forced the pre-season patch that broke the entire game.
    Save your money, you can't expect anything good from Activision and there's no point playing a game that can remove all your progress when they feel likes it.

    This game looks like Indy , not like a AAA premium “100$” project. Not the game date we aspected for 11 years. Every location looks like Ctrl+C - Ctrl+V Every dungeon looks the same with one differens - recolour. 1 door and 1/2/3/4 keys.

    Campaign is good, After getting into World Tier 4 nothing really to play for. Direction the game is heading with latest patch has killed any desire to try future seasons. Devs seem to be going the opposite direction, to inject time wasting changes into the game to try to mask the lack of content after the campaign.

Tried it again after season 1 release, nope, still unplayable. I'm glad I used gift cards from K4G to buy this joke of a game.

Limited stash espace, gems are worthless, no trading, no itemnization, no lobbies, no party finder, FOV feels bad, the resource/spender combat is awful, autolevel is the laziest thing I ever experienced in a game.     Game was covered by an awesome story and animations but once you dig deep itemization sucks which was supposed to be the heart of any arpg game such as Diablo. It’s true that the old Blizzard is dead. Pre-season was decent 6/10 but from there just down the drain. Will not pre order Blizzard games on the foreseeable future.

    As a long time diablo fan, all i can say is that this is the diablo game we were waiting for! The visuals are beyond the roof, the gameplay is fluid and fun, the world is huge and alive, the story is interesting and well written. There is so much to do even after finishing the story. Ignore the negative review bombers, probably just some dissatisfied woke feminazis.

    While the future of the game is anyone’s guess, at present Diablo IV is a solid, but strangely unambitious take that fails to bring much new to the table. By the end of my travels, I was more than willing to put it down and take a break — somewhere amongst all the grinding, Diablo IV had unfortunately ground me down as well.
