People have done the math, it literally costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to max gear one single character. I wish I was joking.     Just badly done. Alone that you have to grind out your level and have no connection to the main story. The pay to win module is very expensive and the game is hardly worth it.

The so called "professional" reviewers must be being paid off by Blizzard or something. They couldn't or wouldn't see how bad the monetisation is. Its just madness. I have played this, got to level 53 and its was like hitting a massive brick wall.     I really gave this game a chance, but eventually you come to a point were you can't progress unless paying a huge amount of money. This is the worst monetization I have ever experienced in a game that I have played, this is true evil at it's core.     I recommend starting the game a few hours before 2am UK time to level up and after the 2nd level block you would reset, do daily stuff, level up and prob finish the game by next night. The only challenge is the last boss and that's only cause your brain is so numb by now from other fights. Finish the game and delete app. The best Diablo Immortal experience.

    Worst diablo ever. They took diablo 3, they changed the name to Immortal, and its engine, and they launched a terrible title. I hope for the best in diablo 4 and to launch it as soon as possible, to correct their disgraceful mistake.

    so i spend some money and it became glaringly obvious how broken this game is once you can pvp and then scaling pay 2 win boxes of 17+ types of currencies start to become available while the content is just loops of old diablo nostalgia. they couldnt have tried less

It's a subtle different, but the normal "Legendary Crests" that you get in the pass and whatnot gives you BOUND gems, aka you can't trade them. It is abhorrent that this is allowed to be produced. More countries need to make the move like Belgium to ban these products from being sold with blatant gambling and malpractice.

The progression is payment locked €20/2 minute rift runs or you can wait half a year to collect that amount of legendary crests (the free legendary crests, which leaves you unable to trade the gems mind you). All that for a measly 10The worst Diablo game ever made, not only is it unplayable in PVP because P2W, there is no trading, the only option with your unneeded loot is to salvage it.     It's actually impressive just how greedy a company can get, especially when they have a track record of making so many bad decisions in such a short time.

    But, that's not all.
    The game itself is just full of bugs, runs bad and has more re-used assets from the previous Diablo game than anything new/original. The story is incredibly boring as well, like a bad action movie.

    This PC port was extremely rushed as well, the UI is still designed for phones, and tells you to tap the screen. Doesn't allow for scroll wheel, instead you have to click and drag to browse your inventory. All very last minute stuff.

    Blizzard is clearly cashing out before the Microsoft takeover, and they don't mind setting fire to their IP's before doing so.    … Expand

    Quick fix:
    Remove the cashshop, add a buff to the aquire system, add a normal price to the retail price of the game. Then the game would be a solid 8.

    is a bad cops actions 100% the fault of the police chief? if the police chief orders a good cop to do bad things, is the good cop not at fault? if an entire police precinct is involved in a crime, and one cop refuses to participate, is this one cop completely innocent? these are all difficult questions with no single answer. muddy blurry territory. in this line of thinking, if the developers knowingly develop a game that is so financially and psychologically abusive to the players, are they at no fault because they were told to do so? i dont know. what i do know is, a video game is an experience, and part of this experience is financial. if a great game is priced at 10,000 dollars, is it still a great game? if a great game costs money each time you want to save, or costs money each time you enter a dungeon, is it still a great game? i think not, but that is just my opinion.

    then your run click can easly get stuck and you might not be able to control your character which is also a bug they still havent fixed seeing that other also and still got this problem!
    it mostly looks and has a story like diablo but its maps are so short with the story and all that it just doesnt feel right to me as also the loot is very much missing most of the times(i had no loot except from quests from level 1 to 12 nothing from mobs) and so i can not acknowledge this game if its even a game and not just a bank for blizzard which doesnt need to pay anything back or give you jack... as a diablo its just missing in my eyes far too much and is a greedy and player unfreindly product!    … Expand

    It's a great amount of content for a mobile game, and geniuinely a very well made game (if not basically a reimagining of D3). Main negative is the monetization model, and the caps on power and progress if you aren't paying exorbitant amounts.

    Got 100k? Go ahead. I have no problem with p2w mechanics, but this game just takes P2W to a whole new level. Every single function in this game is p2w. Literally if your a f2p player you will never ever be remotely competitive with even a low level whale.

    Just incredible, they've made a decent Diablo game and locked it behind a paywall. If you don't spend $100,000 every season, you're not gearing up the way Blizzard wants to, and will probably get your teeth knocked out by people who spend more than you. No reason to play this over Diablo 3 on PC or Switch.

    Once upon a time blizz was great, but went downhill from WC-refunded to Diablo immoral. disappointing releases one after another, lame ass wow expansions, I personally am done with you blizz, it's not you, it's me, **** no I lied it's all you **** you blizz to think I stuck with blizz since vanilla wow.

    Boring campaign, copy paste from Diablo 3, no innovation. Bad graphics, crashes, clunky ui.
    Play to be bored or pay (to get a chance) to get the best gear.
    Avoid this cancer.

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
