    This game is NOT as bad and NOT as money grabbing as people want to make it out to be. I am actually really enjoying the game. It's basic, the story is fairly minimal, but you can tell it's preparing us for D4 with certain interactions and storylines. The interface is only a bit clunky, but it's negligible. The combat is fun, I really enjoy how the spells level up. There's plenty to do, toThis game is NOT as bad and NOT as money grabbing as people want to make it out to be. I am actually really enjoying the game. It's basic, the story is fairly minimal, but you can tell it's preparing us for D4 with certain interactions and storylines. There's plenty to do, to a point where sometimes I feel overwhelmed (not a bad thing). It's making me excited for D4, whereas before DI I wasn't sure I was going to buy it. Skip the drama. It's "free" to play if you want to waste your entire day only to get 1% of what people who are spending money on this game are getting. It's only $20 for a couple gemstones. To this game where it can cost up to $100,000 to max certain things I will never understand. Avoid at all costs. Pirate diablo 2 remastered instead don't even give any money to this shell of a company.

    I made an account to rate this game. I never played the game and cancelled the installation when I saw the first Youtube video explaining what to expect to spend in cash to have a chance at the endgame.

    I played every Diablo games before this one and grew up with D2. I wish this game never existed because it only destroyed my hype for D4. **** you Blizzard.

    I was waiting for the launch to play with my mom (yeah, me and my mom play a lot of games together) and it simply is p2w. If you want to play it without spending real money, the game makes sure your life turns to hell. So screw it, unnistalled and blizzard is all the way downhill.

    The menus are a disaster. The currencies are convoluted beyond belief. Tool tips cover the screen and don't go away. AAAAAND THEN THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM
    I wanted to play this game for the story (lol..) as an old Diablo fan. I'll just google the lackluster synopsis.

And they put the items of real value out of the realm of possibility behind loot boxes with extremely low drop rates, so that people have spent 10,000$ on this game and still not gotten a 5/5 rare gem like they want.

    This is by far the worst Pay to Win game I've ever seen and the Dev's on this game clearly understand what they are doing. This kinda game making needs to stop. I played 5 min of it and on top of the micro transactions it to me is just a Diablo 3 re-skin. The PC (Beta) at the moment is a terrible port also.

    The gameplay itself is really fun and enjoyable.
    But the PC port is pretty bad sometimes which can take a lot from the gameplay.
    Also, a major part of the late-game gear upgrading (legendary gems) is locked behind a huge paywall.

    The legendary crests you buy from the shop which is called an Eternal crest is different from what you get in the battle pass . The difference is that eternal crests give you a 100 percent chance to drop a legendary gem while the free legendary crest only slightly boosts your chances.So if you want a guaranteed legendary gem you have to buy it and if you don't you will have to grind months to get it.
    You can also rank up your battle pass and get pretty much a ton of levels.
    This game deserves to be review bombed .And I will not be looking forward to Diablo 4 as this has ruined my Diablo experience forever    … Expand

    So many bugs and unfinished game parts. The coding is atrocious. The game can't handle its own graphics no kette rhsta you run this on. Every boss is the same, 2 abilities, spawns adds 3 "Phases".
    Yoi will lot be able to be competitive or get high level gems without paying money.
    You will not be able to get magic find without oayojg money.
    There is no end game content other than gambling your money and doing the same quests over and over again to get experience.

    By any realistic definition, this game is pay to win. It's sad, because the game play is strong for a mobile game. That said, society doesn't excuse a car-jacker if they choose to politely escort you out of your car instead of shooting you in the face. They still drove away with your car. They still stole from you. They're still a criminal. It's sad for all of the hard-working devs at Blizzard that had their blood, sweat and tears disrespected by a group of criminals down the hall.

    The main problem is the P2W aggressiveness and predatory practices which ruins every aspect of the game. In the back of your head every hour you put into this game, you know someone is already months or years ahead of you just because they opened their wallet and spent 1000s. So what is the point in playing if you're not willing to pay? It's a WASTE OF TIME. You cannot win in PVP unless there are whales in your group. You cannot get great legendary gems because they cannot drop for you as a free to play player, only certain low star gems. The aggressive caps prevent you making any decent progression for free, a paywall is hidden almost at every corner and blatantly in your face. Winning wars as shadows/immortals a core feature to the game will come down to paying, battlegrounds comes down to paying, getting the best PVE gear and higher content is down to paying. As a free to play player there is simply no real way to get a decent footing in the game. You pay or you lose. At least you can enjoy the story mode for free. And even if you're going to pay, how long until new content makes what you paid for obsolete? It will happen, its just a matter of time.

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME on this game. The flaws outweigh any good the game has. The game has many systems and surprisingly in-depth, however to scratch past the service is nigh on impossible for free to play players as getting some of the resources required will take you longer than what realistically is realistic. Blizzard dropped the ball with this one and went in on the greed. You have lost a customer and I will not be logging into any of your games anytime soon. This will be a lesson they probably wont learn from. Enjoy the easy millions in the beginning, but I hope most abandon this within the opening months and leave this dirtpile where it belongs, in Hell. FOR SHAME TO THIS COMPANY!    … Expand

They're effectively trying to rob as many players as they can with these unbelievably predatory monetization before the Microsoft deal goes through.

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.
