    The hatred towards this game is weird. I grew up on D1 + D2: LoD and have put over 300 hours into D3. This is a clone of D3, so apart from a new story don't expect anything ground breaking. The issues of pay to win is real, but it's more to speed you up leveling up. Anyone who has ever but effort into their paragon level on D3 will understand.     Set a predefined max time youll play it, eg. 10hours and then you uninstall and NEVER touch it again, then you'll be fine.
    Everything after that is the worst kind of #scamware imaginable.
    Seriously, exploiting junkies like that. Had it been any other industry, theese people would be behind bars.

    The most frustrating part about this entire thing is that hidden under all of the predatory business practices is a really decent mobile game.

    The irony here is that if they had just made it a normal game I'd have paid a reasonable fee for it, now they'll get nothing. We need to push to ban loot crates and other similar gambling games in our country.     This games monetisation is annoying. Every few levels you get 99 Cent Popups.
    Graphics on PC is okayish but not great.
    If you want Diablo on PC just go with Diablo 3 or wait for Diable 4. This game is not worth to be played on PC. ( due to monetisation i would say it is not worth to be played at all )

    1st of all it's a lousy Diablo III version without a story, it's not innovative, it's not fun to play (again D3 is way better in comparison), it's pure meaningless/endless grinding.     Like every well thought out Diablo game. But there are too many p2w items. The material required to awaken a legendary item can only be purchased with money. blizzard has proven how greedy they are with this game

    I'm genuinely a Diablo fan, and don't consider this a review bomb going on here. The fact is that I can not play this game because of the constant reminders that everything is monetized. Every day I don't play, every day I don't have the battle pass, I am missing out. Every endgame dungeon I do, there it is in the back of my head that I would get more if I had only paid. I can't handleI'm genuinely a Diablo fan, and don't consider this a review bomb going on here. The fact is that I can not play this game because of the constant reminders that everything is monetized. Every day I don't play, every day I don't have the battle pass, I am missing out. It's a mediocre copy-paste of Diablo 3 in the first place, so the motivation to play is already lower than it ought to be since I could just play Diablo 3 with no MTX. But I can't handle being pushed to spend spend spend like this, and knowing that I will literally never come close to maxing out my characters because the paywall is so insanely steep. I hate this. As for the PC port, the game looks very zoomed in with bad resolution when I play on my PC. Clearly the PC version was a last-minute addition.… Expand

    Solid game. For a game ported from phone, I'm pretty impressed. I think the devs deserve some credit. Unfortunately it is ruined by the way they decided to monetize it.
    If they had altered the grind to the point where I could max out my gear without spending tons of time or tons of money, it might be something of interest.

But for both versions you're getting blunt slot game for idiots, cause idk a man stupid enough to pay $100000+ for best upgrades.     I personally don't have a care for people who want to just put themselves on a ban vagon just to hate a game because micro transactions. Personally I've been waiting for Diablo as a live service game, and as far as it goes for those "micro transactions" they are not overly taxed on a player. You may pay or skip them entirely it's "your choice".     The game is unplayable. It has the worst monetization I have ever seen. There is no chance to be even slightly competitive without throwing hundreds of dollars at it. You are far better off playing The older Diablo games or Path of Exile. This game is almost identical to Diablo 3 anyway.

    This game is high quality and exceptionally fun. You don’t need to spend money to play through this game. Since its free, its easy to coordinate with friends and play cooperatively with minimal cost. Its also great if you want to play something on your phone as the mobile integration is amazing.     I think Blizzard had a typo, the 't' shouldn't be there on the title. Disgusting practice, this is a disgrace for a company once so praised by the fans. Diablo, Diablo 2, Warcraft, Warcraft 2, Starcraft, Warcraft 3 was a shining beacon in PC gaming. Good job Activision, you have killed the old Blizzard.

    Unfortunately, the bad far overshadows the good. Progression doesn't follow a steadily decrease in speed, it's basically fast until boom it's like you're grinding at max level for how slow it is.     The monetization is absolutely atrocious in every regard. Legendary drops feel as bad as the worst parts of 3, same with set pieces. Gems are a nightmare because it isn't just upgrade with gold and copies, it requires specific materials.

    There's just no point of this in which I would happily recommend it. It needs a complete overhaul in the monetization department to where there is no bonus to it in a landslide. Currently you can swipe your card and get a year's worth of free runs at legendary drops. It's just enough.    … Expand

Diablo 2 was deeper, and darker, with even sharper edges! It's one of the best games of all time. Diablo 3 was a downgrade in graphics and story, with a doomed "real money auction house". I reached levels 37-38 and noticed a major hurdle and extended the grind to level. This was also shadowed by a quick cash shop upgrade to gems and legendary to get you over the hump. I reached levels 37-38 and noticed a major hurdle and extended the grind to level. This was also shadowed by a quick cash shop upgrade to gems and legendary to get you over the hump. Overall I think the game is too much of a blatant cash grab that doesn't live up to quality to justify spending more than 20-30$ on max. what a shame, I feel like blizzard has killed a beloved fan favorite for money.… Expand

    Most pay-to-win/pay-to-play blizzard title ever created, the game play is decent, and I would probably keep playing it, but the amount of sheer greed a company has to have to make a game like this I can give 0 support to.

    Diablo is a game BASED around fair play and RMT is frowned upon like the plague.

    I don't see how paying for advantages that lead you to earning better gear (i.e. better drop rates) is any different than RMT.

    Loot and materials should only be acquired through gameplay in Diablo, not through micro-transactions.

    The amount of predatory P2W in this game is is ridiculous! The Worst part is after completing the campaign I honestly don't get how people can think this is worth it lol. It's honestly just sad not to mention the lack luster bosses.     Even though development and story are very high and what it is what we as fans and consumers refer to "good old Blizzard quality", it is immensely opaque with an aggressive micro transaction system that sips out every ounce of joy to what could have been a franchise-changing installment in the series.     Slot machine (as it’s not a game at all) has no redeeming qualities. It’s only goal is to liberate the dollars from your wallet. Blizzard has sunk to the level of EA.

    Actually, I just insulted slot machines. At least with those one armed bandits, you have a remote chance of getting a cash jackpot.

It doesn't feel good to play with keyboard and mouse, because it's too zoomed in and you end up clicking on some boss's massive hitbox which takes up half the screen, instead of the ground while trying to avoid attacks.     The worse thing about Diablo Immortal is the fact that is well designed and would be one of the best mobile games ever created, but YES, IT IS 100% PAY TO WIN. The price of items is Disgusting and Blizzard just keeps going down.

    The biggest disappointment of all times. Diablo Immoral is just disgusting to play. The PC port is just awful, there are lots of bugs and it is not comfortable to play at all. The amount of whales in game is just ridiculous.

    This game is a culmination of all humanity's failures to be good to each other and leave with pride in ourselves and all of our sins. No wonder they called it Diablo Immoral since nothing means anything here and nothing is sacred.

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
