    You're forcing me to play your game with your daily login system and it's no longer fun! On the contrary it's f***ing stressful!     Manipulating people with the fear of missing out is genuinely grim. Let's say I'm on vacation and I don't want to engage with my phone or lap top. No you can't, otherwise you're falling behind and you can't catch up, because everything has an expiration date.
    Progression is painfully slow and repetitive unless you have legendary crests which no one does unless you're a whale. You can add 10 legendary crests into a single rift, but you only obtain 1 legendary crest every now and then! This is insane! I'm at the point where I'm grinding 10 hours a day and get the same gear over and over again and I get nothing valuable. In raids and dungeons only the one who kills the boss gets a drop. If you're going to make it like that, at least implement an assist system, so everyone gets rewarded. Gem drops are extremely poor and 5 star legendary gems are impossible to obtain unless you're willing to pay huge amounts of money, which most people don't have. I understand that free to play games are monetised one way or another, but this is infuriating. You blatantly lied that only cosmetics will be acquired through the shop with real money, but that wasn't enough for you, was it?
    I hope Diablo 4 will be a classic diablo game, because this P2W micro transaction s**t killed it for me. I played 1, 2 and still playing Diablo 3, but not this. You tried to kill Diablo 3 with the auction house and thank God that didn't work out. It's so sad that you killed a game I grew up with and so eagerly anticipated. You're business model is disgusting and I can only imagine how you're going to ruin Diablo 4 as well with your never ending greed. I feel sorry for the actual people who worked on the game itself, because you destroyed their brilliant job and you're killing gaming for everyone. I pre-ordered Diablo 4 an year ago, because I wanted to support the company in tough times. I also pre-registered for Immortal an year ago and bought a new phone just to play your mobile version of the game! That's how much faith I had in your company and you literally spat in my face.     From a game play stand point I am really enjoying it. It feels good, responsive, I love using the chains skill on my bard to suck people in them hammer the entire group, then whirlwind to finish them off.

    The story is interesting from someone who LOVED diablo 2 as a young teen and also loved D3 as an adult. The voice acting is cool.     Unfortunately there are some annoying game play features due to the fact that its a mobile port. When you get to the first major town it kinda forces you to go around and talk to all the main npc's. This kind of forced hand holding you wont find in D2 or D3. The player figures it out in their own time. but with mobile games its part of the main quest line to 'go talk to this person' then 'go talk to that person' and you can't move around or to the next part of the quest until you have done this chore. It just feels forced and annoying.

    The monetization is absolutely disgusting, EVEN FOR A MOBILE GAME shieeet. However i get an odd sense of enjoyment out of playing grindy mobile games and not spending a cent. Like, every time I get a pop up for buy something and i press the X out of spite, it just makes me smile haha. You won't get any money from me.

    As a game, I think its a great game. As an example of how far blizzards standards have fallen? Its an absolute shame.    … Expand

    Now the obvious p2s tactics assice, this is a terrible port, when you start fighting real bosses and start to evade fast AOS it shows that the hitbox registration is horrible AF and boss animations jump around. Hit reg feels like its kinda laggin or delayed - even tho its running in good performance?

I would be more tolerant to these types of monetization policies if I knew that it wouldn't apply to future releases, but as it stands - that's simply not true. It's always testing "How much further can we push it, till the player base doesn't accept it".     The first bullet point is gameplay first. This game is the complete opposite to gameplay first.

    Yes this game is free and the developers and creators should be paid. But this is taking advantage of people. Basically 0 ways to earn the coveted legendary crests to run rists to get that amazing loot. Because after all thats what diablo is all about.
    You offer 1 during the questline, 1 a month in the hilt shop and 1 in the battle pass for free. This game is all about money and blizzard should be ashamed of themselves but i think wyatt should be the most shameful saying basically the complete opposite of what the game actually is. This is next level gluttony. The fact that they avoid the term loot boxes by simply adding a fighting sequence in between the randomly generated gem speaks for itself. Don't play this and don't waste amy money on them. Oh but i forgot to mention. If you do decide to indulge in their awful game, you better choose carefully on which character to buy the battle pass or cosmetics on because they aren't account wide.     I've never felt like my brain was being molded to buy stuff more than playing this, this game serves as a peek to what gaming would become in the future if no company was accountable and it's one of the most terrifying things i've seen. What a disgrace.

    With that said, the game design and content are great, they just ruined everything with the above described problems.

    Blizzard did a great job, it's like they've grabbed their job, poured flammable liquid on it, and threw in a lit match on the day it came out, and they said, "We've done our part, now it's your turn."

    Shame on you Blizz, I had faith in you, I gave you many chances to prove yourself worthy to your audience once more, yet you've fallen and have chosen the wrong path.     Initially I rated a version of this game 6/10 since the game content was solid with a decent story and gives a solid gameplay experience.
    Then I later found, if you happen to do a in game purchase, it will last only for the current season. Then its clean slate. This is extremely predatory. Not good Blizzard!!

    Its all about grind. It may take a little time to farma some gear, but after all we are takling about Diablo. I have to say that the grind Is super fun, with active real-time online community. There are many events and tasks to play, i have Bern playing since release. Still enjoy playing

Mouse controls feel terrible and it's still strangely unresponsive with a controller. The story is not cringe, but it's not captivating either (like Diablo 2's Marius cinematics we're). Itemization is blander than the story. All in all, not horrible, but not good either. ThisOn the one hand, this game is getting review bombed by a legion...     My recommendation? Play it just to see what all the fuss is about, do some research on the monetization aspect, then delete it and go back to diablo 3. Blizzard as we know it is dead.    … Expand

    the perfect example for how to scrap a good franchise. play for one day and un-install the day after. got to level level 38 and was bored by the main quest was "get to level 35 .. get to level 40 " don't have time to create quest ... to much work to do on the in game store.

    The extreme pay to win and predatory tactics used in this game are despicable. its fun for the first few minutes until your progress grinds to a hault to incentivise you to pay upwards of six figures to max out your gems.

    This kind of predatory gambling system should be illegal.

    The Blizzard of old is gone now we have the late stage capitalism parasite that preys on the gambling addictions of youths.

    For the price of a modest mortgage you too can experience end game content in a blizzard game.

    Played the game for 30 min and uninstalled after. Boring combat and storyline. Enabling playable on PC is also a stupid idea. I have been a fan of blizzard since diablo 2 but this time I lose my faith on them. Blizzard is dead.

Taking what a lot of love about the genre (the theory crafting and loot grind) and turning it into novelty shop where you can buy a character too play with. It’s an absolute embarrassment to the gaming industry and saddest of all is that they knew that years ago when they announced it at blizzcon.

I just can't afford thousands of dollars for a single game. Add to that... I'm colorblind. The mobile version is playable, but not the PC. So much red I just can't see the screen.     The game is absolute trash. Copy-pasted old D3 content from 10+ years ago with an added cash shop + p2w elements. Its like they spent 5 years making a cash shop.

    Gameplay is horrible aswell beyond initial leveling with autoscaling of mobs. So when your character increases in power. so does the mobs.

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
