With a geometric distribution calculation, that number sits around $4900.

    I could run this game on PC, unlike on my Android gaming phone just to find out the game is like running through prepared tunnels from point to point and we were told in one review the players who pay to win will not be favoured that mutch, but they are, it's a piggybank and a shadow of the Blizzard we remember from old years.

You are constantly being redirected to the cash shop, every dungeon you can pay to get better loot.     The combat itself is pretty good for a mobile game. But this is all about money, you need to spend real money to advance or you will have no chance against other players. Its designed to be a money grab from Blizzard. Very disappointed.

    I've gotten to lvl 60+7 and even tho the leveling part was fun, and I tried to ignore the minor pay walls, it just dawned on me that in order to level my legendary gems up I will need to invest a lot of money in this game. The gems that drop on free to play are capped at 2 stars, so that means even if I grind them all I won't be able to get better    AMAZING GAME, RUINED BY MONETISATION.

A lot of character mechanics are good but require a lot of mindless grind and cash as without spending money drop rates are astronomically low. This breaks the game

Something you expect from a Diablo game. Everything you can buy is obtainable in game for free. Great vatmriety of moves, abilities, perks, gear and a big 600 point skill tree. 660 player levels to get. 8 player boss fights. TodayFantastic game, so much content! PVP had potential and could have easily been expanded on for more types of battles, like capture the flag, deathmatch, etc...     Pretty good for a mobile game, resembles the original (D2; maybe a bit too vivid colours). I like the voice acting and story, but I dislike the aggressive manipulative monetization. A Diablo game being Pay2Win? I don't like that at all, I was, probably naively, expecting a bit more from Blizzard. I guess it's true the Blizzard has lost its soul...

    Horrendously predatory with in-game purchases. Uses every psychological tactic and scheme possible to take advantage of people with gambling problems. What would otherwise be a 9/10 game is completely overshadowed by the disgusting monetization structure. If you have children, do not let them play this.

    Every ingame store purchase is per character, and not account. If you get the premium battlepass on one char, and roll an alt, you don't have the premium battlepass on that new char.
    Cosmetics are the same, PER CHARACTER.
    However, the biggest issue is the whole ordeal with Legendary Crests, that is used to "guarantee" a legendary drop from Elder Rifts. You can use up to 10 of these crests per run. Every Legendary Crest costs 160 Eternal Orbs (one of many currencies in the game, though this is the "premium" one).
    Legendary Crests boost the loot, so that you have a CHANCE of getting a ?/5 star legendary gem.
    Even if you spend thousand of dollars, you're never guaranteed a 5/5 star gem.
    And for a "free to play" player, you're most likely never able to get one 5/5 star gem.
    Wyatt Cheng don't see the legendary gems as "gear", but they are the main power-boost of the gear.
    A free player will have to spend years to get to the same level as a paying player is today.
    I don't mind cosmetics being bought for money, but when you can get a direct power-increase by opening your wallet? That makes the game Pay2Win.
    Another thing that's bad about the game, is that you're not allowed to level too fast. If you're over the server paragon level, you get reduced XP gains, 80% or even lower, depending on how much over the server paragon you are.
    Unless Blizzard change the monetization, I don't see this game being around for long.    … Expand

They just flat out refused to release the game in Belgium, where loot box gambling in kids games is illegal, because Blizzard thinks that this abomination's gameplay literally can't be separated from its monstrous gambling mechanics and grind.

    This game is for nobody. Absolutely nobody. And I can't understand why any game journalist would look past that. Every journalist worth a damn should be shouting from the rooftops that this game is a literal scam and to avoid it at all costs. not "oh well the graphics are okay for a phone game and you can play it for a bit without paying" (ignoring the fact that it utterly pelts and shotguns you with prompts to spend money) I'd be boycotting the journalists who reviewed this game and didn't give it a sub-20% score, too.

    Genuinely the most egregious AAA game in history that I can think of. Worse than shadow of mordor. Worse than battlefront 2. This is all the evil and hatred of video game executives, balled up and given the title of a major IP.

    While the core gameplay mechanics and the moment to moment gameplay is pretty good to absolutely excellent, the many ridiculously predatory monetization systems turn this game into nothing more than a platform for blizzard to siphon money from their players in some of the most psychologically abusive ways possible.

    it's a fun game for in between. The microtransactions can be worked around with enough time. People want everything for free these days, but they still want good games. The story, game mechanics, and community events are fun, and the build options are very interesting.

    I spent 5 days of no life-ing this game as a pure free to play. In This time i got all legendary and attempted legendary gems. with other progressions avalable. YOU CANNOT PROGRESS FURTHER then challange rift 20 unless you put money into this game. The end game is a pay to be any good at this game. its not pay to win anymore. it is PAY TO BE OK... SAD

    They copied assets from 10 year old Diablo 3, ported them to a Nokia 3110, then ported them back to pc with the biggest cash grab the world has ever seen. I'm not excited about Diablo 4 anymore. The franchise is dead, folks.

    I've played the game for about 40 hours before quitting. The first few hours were enjoyable, but it gets grindy really fast. It doesn't help that literally everything is time-gated, including the drop chance for legendary items. The Pay-to-win aspect is starting to become more apparent in PvP. As a F2P player you can not compete with someone who spent a lot of money.

    Was looking forward to this game but when i finally got it in my hands it did not take long for it to show me the money sucking fangs. After playing for just a short while a "red dot" appeared on one of the icons, clicking this showed me it wanted to take me to the cash shop.

    This could have been a great game, but the pay 2 win in this game has shown to be incredibly strong and it seem    Was looking forward to this game but when i finally got it in my hands it did not take long for it to show me the money sucking fangs.     I'm amazed that blizzard haven't learned their lesson from the Diablo 3 auction house debacle. This game is a sick joke. So much emphasis on pay to win, it's a mockery of the blizzard entertainment of its heyday. I give it 1/10 because it actually visually looks ok for a mobile game but style over substance doesn't fool me.

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
