    The gameplay is well made, but the tactics used to force a pay-to-progress system are so overwhelmingly big that I can't even find myself wanting to award 1 point for it. Shame on Blizz for adopting this sort of psychology to force spenditures.

    - pay to have a higher chance of dropping legendary
    - Pay to have more chance to be able to drop legendary items and be able to sell the items
    - Legendary loot drops drastically after a certain amount of drops (has been tested by players)
    - exp CAP, depending on server level (this is ridiculous)
    - Watch PVP videos ... and try to say the opposite about p2w

    Don't trust anyone that tells you this game is not pushing microtransacions down your throat. It is design to make you spend as much money as possible and it's totally not worth. Don't support this abusive model and certainly don't support blizzard because they clearly only care about exploiting us.

    Even if the p2w aspects of the game were removed or minimized, the core game is a poor knockoff of Diablo 3. The game is designed so that you must play it every day or else you'll be punished, FOMO model + advantages you gain for swiping your credit card, F2P are whale food, plankton, krills, fishies.

    This is an online casino with Diablo theme, where you unfortunately win nothing.
    I liked the story, it was nice to fill the blank space between 2 and 3. Nicely adapted on Mobile, PC version still quite buggy.
    But after story concludes, its just endless grind and temptation to spend cash for a small chance to speed up progress.

    Great game except for the fact it is meant to suck all money you have. And even then, you cannot be sure you get anything sensible when spending real money. This is nothing else than gambling. Great that the Dutch have banned this game.

    RIP blizzard.. I don't even really care about the p2w aspects of the game, which are obviously terrible. The gameplay is horrible. 0 challenge. Dumbed down to the max. its basicly a sclotmachine with graphics. Not worth anyones time, how people can spend money on trash like this amazes me, not worth a single penny and even moreso not worth a single second of your valueable lifetime!

    This game is garbage. Uninstalled after reaching lvl 13 and understanding how the micro-transactions was gonna condition my experience. The message needs to be clear to the gaming industry, this type of game is not the future of gaming.

    I am not going to repeat what has become public knowledge of how immoral the game is. My absolute last drop was the Bestiary "achievement" system.
    154 monsters to collect information about by gathering monster essence. Drop that is not super common and you get a reveal for 10(capped of course) essences. The thing is even this is behind RNG wall. You can reveal already discovered monster    I am not going to repeat what has become public knowledge of how immoral the game is.     In immortal you have to do Quests (why?) and scan every sub window of the game for some hidden xp "rewards" (again why?), you're progress is slowed down if you are ahead of the server progress (why?) - implement a catch up mechanic not a slow down mechanic if its so important.

    Penalties - Bad
    Rewards - Good
    Rewards hidden behind a Pay-wall - Very Bad

    To sum it up, Immortal is not worth of carrying the Name and the Spirit of a DIABLO GAME.    … Expand

    Yes, this game is fully P2W. You can do some mental juggling to try to argue against this fact, but it's wide open to anyone. Do you only play PVE and in that case will the amount of money invested be irrelevant? Your mistake is sad! Because the game limits (and a lot) the progression of F2P players, while whoever has more money to spend will always be able to evolve more and more.

    The game as game is good, but 1st require alot of recourses to run it and battery is dying fast. Second the more you play more realise is so P2W that you lose passion and killing your good memories from old good D2. Third is too big for mobile game which is eating 10gb of your space. Now the franchise becomes ruined after so many good years and memories. Dont waste your time on it.

All the gameplay mechanics were specifically tailored to achieve that sole goal, heck even the IP itself (Diablo!) is just a means to create buzz and general interest in this cashgrab scheme. All in all: Shame on you Activision, shame on you Blizzard. You just can't allow yourself any mistakes with the upcoming release of Diablo IV, or else the franchise itself is doomed to die in the deepest depths of hell which it tries to clease. I even enjoyed Diablo 3 for what it was even though I wasn't the biggest fan. I got to about level 45 before uninstalling. I felt like I could not progress through the game any further without paying.     The limits of this "sub-product" are very evident, the pay to win part begins to take over strongly towards the end game, if it can be defined as such, where even crafting makes chickens laugh, it is nothing more than a Gatcha game for mobile phones brought to a PC suitable for almost Chinese-Korean users where they are very inclined to play let's say "easy".

    This game is so extremely predatory in it's P2W schemes that it should be illegal. Society should be protected against abject evil like this. And it's unfortunate because the core gameplay isn't bad - I'd pay $50 once for this game, but I wouldn't pay literally tens of thousands of dollars in microtransactions for it.

    Gave it a shot - 60 (P20). Not able to progress my character very well, walled off by paywalls and caps. lots of effort for little reward. If i did get a Gem upgrade I won't be able to level it as a F2P player as the amount required is insane. Yes I could get P30 but then what?     Wow Blizzard, you truely made it! A true Diablo game. It really feels like you where acctualy in hell while getting your soul sucked out by the devil. Is it a good game? God no. But is it an artisical masterpiece, a true hommage to the devil? You can bet your ass it is.

    Have been a fan of the Diablo franchise for a long time but this is absolutely awful. with someone with crippling finance, I should not have to fork out a single penny to play a game after I brought it. what blizzard has done to this game should be illegal. I am extremely disappointed and hope and pray to god every night that this does not happen with Diablo 4

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
