    If you really want to play diablo to fight the nostalfia buy diablo 3 instead. It is the same game just made much worst by microtransactions and a legendary gem system that rewards putting money into the game instead of rewarding game play.

F2P shovelware merchant Netease did manage to throw in decent visual and audio work, but the rest is a mishmash of typical mobile fare.     El peor juego de la historia de blizzard tenes que poner plata para poder avanzar. en INF 1 para hacer mazmorras tenes que si o si jugar con otro jugador una porqueria y no es eso todo en INF2 tenes que si o si jugar con 4 jugadores sino no podes entrar a los dungeons para mejorar el personaje un chiste.     i played that for 30 hours... to see how suck it is. i played all diablo games but this is not diablo. its a pay to win if you want to get a good account you have spend more than 110.000$. its like you are playing with emulator on pc.

    I really don't enjoy the predatory micro-transactions. It really takes away from the whole experience. This will always be a thorn and even if it's resolved, Blizzard/Activision may never recover from what they have done.

    Perfect reminder that Blizz is gone and replaced by Activi$ion. The original people behind most Diablo games, starcraft and/or Warcraft1-3 did not have anything to do with this. I don't really know if it's good or bad.

I had to stop playing at lvl 50 due to game mechanics not allowing me to continue. At level 30 i needed to grind multiple dungeons in order to proceed and then continually being stopped at every second level again and again. Please Blizz,This game is obnoxious!     Pay to win. The free chest is in the store and everyday I have to click on the store and they make me look at another paid chest. It feels like they want to reflect on me with numbers like 800% of an item's value for money for a given price.

Levelling up became a chore and the story elements felt far and few between, in the later levels. Also playing with friends doesn’t really feel impactful or fun.     The PC port isn’t worth crap. I wouldn’t play D:Immortal on PC if they paid me. The controls are dog crap. It literally feels like a mobile client game running on PC.

    This game only gets a 3/10 for amazing mobile graphics, sound and really tight controls. Everything else is meh or pile of p2w crap. For f2p players PvP doesn’t exist.    … Expand

Worse than the worst of the Asian phone Gatcha style games. 0/10 the RNG here makes you feel like you really ARE in hell! Even worse, the boss design and playability really make it feel like a poorly ported phone game on your gaming computer.

    Diablo Immortal is tragic because the Diablo (and to some extent Blizzard, even if that ship is long gone) brand is sacred to many gamers to world over, who fell in love with the dark world, the deep lore and the sense of exploration that fueled it all. Diablo Immortal takes that world-wide love, and cynically exploits that love, to suck their customers wallets as dry as humanly possible. EVERY scummy strategy is fully on display in this excuse of a game, solely designed to make you spend money. Activision Blizzard has been in steady decline, when it comes to integrity. Seemingly, the company is now working to "better the workplace environment", instead distilling all their toxic **** into the games they launch, it is an absolute JOKE.
    Not only can I not recommend even trying Diablo Immortal out, I actively recommend just deleting any Blizzard product you own, and letting this soulless, greedy, money grabbing entity, masquerading as a company, die a slow but deserved death.
    The 1 star that I ultimately give this game is for the average Joe developer who worked on it, and has little to do with the awful and overly predatory monetization scheme. The game is okay, it runs smoothly and looks decent, but feels very close to D3 (which has been out for a decade soon).    … Expand

    Obvious cash grab made for China brought to the western audience with its predatory monetization included. Early game has easy progression with decent loot drops. Late game requires micro transactions to be competitive. Not recommended for anyone, except millionaires who like to support evil business practices.

    Au premier abord, c'est un jeu bien optimisé qui fonctionne aussi bien sur téléphone que sur mobile.
    Hélas après quelques heures de jeux , on réalise que d'emblée on a des soucis d'optimisation sur les manettes, impossible de réduire le lag, aucun patch possible.
    Puis vient les bugs ingame, en pleine faille des blocages , le jeu se coupe, redémarre, des freezes. Mais vient le pire par    Au premier abord, c'est un jeu bien optimisé qui fonctionne aussi bien sur téléphone que sur mobile.

    Mais vient le pire par la suite, les pop ups nous poussant à convertir nos heures de jeux en argent , puis lorsque l'on atteint le seuil de paragon 20 , cela devient très , voir trop long de progresser dans les failles probatoires ou dans le jeux lui même sans verser 1 euro.
    Puisque moyennant quelques euros il est possible de convertir les orbes en platine et d'aller au marché s'acheter des gemmes légendaires 2 ,5 étoiles et d'améliorer facilement son niveau d'équipement.
    De plus l'achat de gemmes en boutique améliore le niveau des failles ancestrales et leur loot.Pire encore l'achat de platine permet d'avoir les fameuses clés qui augmente le niveau d'horadrim.
    Et j'ai pas fini , on peut avec le pass renforcé payer pour avancer vite voir sans farmer dans le jeux et obtenir de l'xp sans jouer, c'est une honte.
    Donc où est l'intérêt de jouer si j'ai un bon salaire et plein d'argent?
    C'est un jeux ou il est possible de s'amuser un peu mais dès que ça devient sérieux, à éviter puisque c'est votre argent qui va en pâtir.
    Blizzard me déçoit au plus haut point et je vais réfléchir à l'achat de diablo 4 rien que pour le fait de m'avoir fait perdre mon temps.
    Quand on fait la guerre des ombres, ceux qui ont payé pour améliorer leur stuff ont un avantage considérable et nous one shot.

No way to progress without spending significant amounts of money. Pay to win users in low monetized battle groups ends up being a beat down. I dropped $50 on the battle pass, upgraded battle pass and a few chests.. Still got 3 shotted by a whale in the battleground. Bad game is bad. 5 star legendary gems are core items for every build and you can't attain them without spending a LOT of money or being the luckiest person on the planet.… Expand

    Playing this game past the basic storyline is pointless beyond the storyline if you are not willing to pay extreme amounts of money.

    Game is a total waste of time starting after base lvl 50 since there is no way for f2p progression that is meaningful.

    The game prompts you for monetization opportunities literally 10 minutes in. Never knew interface you view has options for accessing monetization. This is literal trash. I've never felt so taken advantage of while trying to play a game. I don't play a ton of phone games but this one's turned me off from them. I'll go back to playing blooms TD.     This game has traumatized my perspective on Diablo games and Blizzard so much, I will never touch Diablo 4 and no other Blizzard title, they are no longer looking at our eyes but rather our bank accounts, waiting until Blizzard goes bankrupt and gives Diablo to another game studio.

If this was a reasonably priced micro transaction mobile game i would say more power to you. If it was a new game i would even play it myself but everything about it is directly stripped from Diablo 3. an old game that has been stripped forBlizzard haven't changed, the Tauren hasn't changed his stripes.     When Blizzard announced Diablo Immortal I was laughing. When I first tried it I was surprised by how good it actually is, only to then be disappointed again by poor design decisions.

    They adapted and improved many things from Diablo 3, like rifts. The game works better as an MMO without seasons. Instead, the ladders for the specific content are periodically reset.

    Then there are some nice new clan and faction mechanics in here, like the shadow war that lets players engage in clan battles and it could make for a worthwhile mobile and PC game.

    BAD

    The party finder is terrible. Only two weeks after realease, you often spend more time waiting than playing, because the content is too spread out. The people who implemented this can't do basic math.

    Then there's some UI problems with the party search. It adds players that are either afk or in another area and can't join the quest you are queueing for. So all players are asked to confirm that they're ready and that fails because of those players, and then repeats forever. Players who can't join or refuse to join should be kicked from the group automatically.

    The microtransactions. I don't even mind that much, unless the game throws them in my face all the time. And Diablo Immortal does that by giving me some useless free junk every day to make me pay attention to the store. Guess what - that won't make me buy anything. It's just annoying and makes me dislike the game.

    Unfortunately, Blizzard broke their word and microtransactions can give paying players quite a huge advantage, even though the normal progression as a free to play player generally feels good. I think this will turn out to be a good short term and a very stupid long term decision for them - so exactly what you would expect from game management these days.

    I'd even be happy to spend some dollars on good skins or stash space, but I will out of principle not buy anything in a game when it lets players become stronger through microtransactions.

    VERDICT

    In the end you have a game that could be genuinely good, but a lot of potential is wasted by short-sighted management decisions and Blizzard's reputation will probably suffer from this.    … Expand

    Micro-transactions aside, the game's also below average quality. Graphics are "meh", gameplay is below "meh", story is forgettable at best...

    Yet another stain in the Diablo franchise and D4 better be awesome otherwise it'll also be the last nail in the coffin for me. Pretty sad knowing I've been at it since D1.

To get any legendary gems I must grind 63 Elder rifts (assuming I have no crests) to craft 1 RANDOM legendary gem. This is my only hope of getting a 5-star gem for my build. The chances are 1 in 2000 to get 5star gem I'm after. I will need to get the right gem repeatedly to continueFinished campaign, working up Paragon levels.     I remember back in the mid-90s playing the first Diablo demo I got with PC gamer over and over - you could only get as far as the butcher but man it was amazing. This captures nothing of the joy of the franchise I fell in love with. It is a banal program designed to get money out of you, not to bring enjoyment, At this point I think Blizzard should just sell their IP and wind-up.

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
