    A decent, lower budget Diablo game designed to be played on Android or iOS, that is unfortunately held back by predatory monetization. If this game was released on PC for $40 with cosmetic only micro-transactions, I'd buy it in a heartbeat, but instead, Blizzard decided to nickle and dime the player base any chance they can, and allow players to pay for power in the cash shop.     I really did give Diablo Immortal a chance - the campaign is not that bad for a Mobile Game but apart from that it´s disgustingly egregious with that insane microtransactions even for a Mobile Game. It´s absolutetely astonishing how they **** this game up which actually had the potential of being a good Diablo Game for Mobile and even for PC(although it´s just a slightly different GameI really did give Diablo Immortal a chance - the campaign is not that bad for a Mobile Game but apart from that it´s disgustingly egregious with that insane microtransactions even for a Mobile Game. It´s absolutetely astonishing how they **** this game up which actually had the potential of being a good Diablo Game for Mobile and even for PC(although it´s just a slightly different Game than Diablo 3 cause they literally did use a lot of assets from that game for Diablo Immortal). They COMPLETELY locked the Endgame behind a Paywall making it absolutely impossible for any FTP Player to reach that goal if you don´t pay up which is getting the best Legendary Gems and Awaken your Gear to make it more powerful. For that reason i absolutely can´t give a higher rating than 0 cause anything else would be undeserving. I´m NOT looking forward to Overwatch 2 and D4 even though i know that a Chinese Company for Mobile Games Netease was involved in this. If Blizzard continues this way there´ll be no chance for me ever playing another Blizzard Game ever again!! this Game deserves all the critique it gets and i hope it´ll forever rot in the Hell of the Worst rated game in the History of Games!!… Expand

    Well however u spin it this game is P2W. I enjoyed the game to a certain point. Now that i am paragon 70 i am so done wtih the game. Progress is slow and u have to keep farming the same content till paragon 600... and after that the same content again for loot. Its way to repetative. I think this game will die in 1 month servers are alrdy pretty emtpt.y. Bad game Blizzard and you know it

    To the point that the only way to have a viable character for end game content is to either spend decades grinding with all the limits and caps placed onto the F2P players, or spend literally thousands of dollars for a chance to drop even a single piece of loot you need several of to max out a character.

    Apart from the ludicrous monetization, the game indeed feels like it's between D2 and D3, but not only story wise, but also technology wise.
    In D3 the player has more primary ability options to choose from, and can also alter their abilities via runes. The Diablo Immoral version is a lot more bland in that regard.

    I have been testing out this game for the past month and I feel like I have reached an significant enough amount of experience from the game to make my review now. I have leveled a single character, progressed through the full storyline, participated in most daily activities, including world bosses, raids and other multi-player content.

    The equipment mechanics are significantly dumbed down, requiring little to no thought or concideration into which items to equip. So this mechanics gets a "boring" score from me.

    The story was fair, it was cool to see familiar faces agian. But the experience of the story was constantly taking an immersion loss due to other players being around in the background from time to time. "Cool, but needs tweaks" score from me.

    The forced multi-player aspect was somewhat refreshing as you reached the end game and things started getting grindy. And participating in raids and bosses together with other players was quite fun. This gets a "Fun" score from me.

    Menu systems were a really bad experience for a pc user. They felt were mobile-like and definitely desereves an overhaul for the pc version. That aside, it was for the most parts quick and easy to navigate. How ever, the queue systems for raids are really bad. It takes forever to get a group, because groups are pre-determined and if one player disconnects or are busy, its not possible to start. And this kept happening a lot. This would have been much better solved with an alternate mode which allows you to simply auto-join with the first available players who are queued in an automatic system. So this receives a "stupid design choice" score from me.

    As you hit the end-game you are pretty much left with waiting around for zone events, trials and bosses and acheivements. And to do daily bounty quests and collection of beastiary entries. A zone trial or boss might require you to wait several days for it to spawn, which is inconvenient since I might not be able to participate at that time. And it also requires enough other players to show up to even be able to complete it. Sometimes it even just crashed the game just as the event started, so that I missed out on the majority of the acheivement progressions. When it works out it feels nice, but when it doesn't it sucks. This could definitely use some tweaks but has a good fundation. I give this the score of "fun".

    Overall, you get a nice main story and level up journey which feels somewhat authentic to the genre, it really fun for the first couple of weeks and you can get that completely for free. But the end-game is completely horrendous, as it removes any fun the player would expect from this kind of genre and blocks it behind a paywall, so that is the only part you are excited for, it would be a no-go for you.

    My main problem with this game is not really the fact that it's possible to pay money to progress faster, my main problem is that it breaks one of the most significant design perspectives of good games... Which is to respect the player's time!

    I have 10 hours to play TODAY, and I want to get as much done as possible. All my daily content is done within 1 hour and I can no longer get any progress until the next day. I expect to be able to put in as many hours of gameplay as I want, and continuously gain progress. And that is not possible in this game, as their monitization is designed around making your return for a breif moment every day!

    My current plan is to finish the majority of the achievements and gain as much fun as I can from the game for free, and then leave the game to be burried in dust on my shelf of bad memories.    … Expand

    An absolute **** show of a heavily monetized pay to win game. Any devs that worked on it or are associated with it in any way, should be ashamed of themselves. For real, my review would probably be banned if I wrote my real honest opinion of this game. It's a hunk of **** that should be erased from human history.

The oxygen thief Pay-To-Win players saying 'It isn't pay to win' who are sitting on their parents wealth with a 500k handout (which clearly shows they made it all themselves) are the definition of a Neutron Star. Pure density in it's finest form. And other retards with the same braindead thought processes gravitate towards it.

    I played Diablo 3 for YEARS. Waiting for something new. And they instead WASTE their own time making this pathetic garbage, and extending the waiting time on Diablo 4. Obviously they wanted more money from the costs of paying for the silence of the women that spoke out and created these scandals, but to f**k over every single Diablo die-hard fan because you're too dense to realize that us gamers (who do have phones) are the reason that your company exists.

    If only people weren't so brainwashed, pathetic, dense, and easy cattle who have a mind of their own but don't do anything about being abused like the women at Blizzard all because they are 'scared' to be normal(saying no and speaking out instantly).. We could reach a level to get a wide majority to stop playing their games, and buying their garbage. Maybe then they'd listen. But no.

    I’ve played the game f2p and got to paragon 20. Throughout my time playing, I did have fun but there were a lot of problems that quickly extinguished that. It’s impossible to get legendary gems without spending money. You don’t get enough regular gems and even if you do they don’t help that much. It’s really hard to queue into a Helliquary Raid and to get into an active warband (neverI’ve played the game f2p and got to paragon 20. Throughout my time playing, I did have fun but there were a lot of problems that quickly extinguished that. It’s impossible to get legendary gems without spending money. You don’t get enough regular gems and even if you do they don’t help that much. It’s really hard to queue into a Helliquary Raid and to get into an active warband (never happened to me) for the extra rewards. The pvp is extremely pay to win and only those who have paid thousands have a positive KD. The zone events are one of the best ways to get good gear and they only show up for like 15 minutes per couple of days. But above all else, what makes this a completely terrible game is that throughout my whole experience, even when my character gets stronger, I’m not killing enemies any quicker than when I started the game. I’m still dieing just as easily as when I started. When you get to later stages of the game which is where I got to, the game also becomes extremely boring because you’re doing the same content every day. If you like the top down, action rpg genre that Diablo Immortal is, then Path of Exile is a way better choice. It has way more content than Diablo Immortal and it’s f2p.… Expand

As soon as I finished my first dungeon and was presented with an option to buy something with real money as a "reward" for finishing it, deep down I immediately knew something was awry.     there's nothing to do in the game, there's no point playing end game stuff (faction wars, pvp) if you don't have stacked 5star legendary gems. grinding rifts to try get some legendary gem materials is boring. it's some some demon of selfish decisions came along and sucked up all the fun and added several angles from the peer pressure to attack from. thanks bobby k, this is garbage.

    Current peak of the deep fall of Blizzard. Unbelievably greedy manipulation and pay2win mechanics integrated to financially exploit players. In which the playfun is pushed to a minimum level and at every point the shop pops up promising improvement in exchange for vast amounts of money. Justifiably currently the worst game of all time on metacritic.

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
