    Online is unplayable three weeks since game release. Servers go down on daily basis. Only information that support gives are excuses and false sentences that problem was solved. Graphics are outdated, game is overrated.

    Серверы отключают каждый день на пару часов (если это происходит из за досса помойной пое, то ребята расслабьтесь в вашу уродливую донатную помойку пойдут только инвалиды)
    Но что то я сомневаюсь, близард за последние годы всё просрала и даже мощности своих распроданных серверов, тут главное не забывать выдавать премию бобику, а остальное неважно.    Серверы отключают каждый день на пару часов (если это происходит из за досса помойной пое, то ребята расслабьтесь в вашу уродливую донатную помойку пойдут только инвалиды)

    Why can't I play offline without lagging servers and generally connected? I don't need online modes!

    At least for a while, you restore the network game and characters. But the offline mode has not worked for almost a week - it requires a connection. WHY?

    Sever are down all the time, rollbacks, lost advance, delete of characters, I try to refund it the first day I played and they told me I play to many hours so the refund is impossible. today I gave it another chance and the game crashed again and my character ain´t there anymore. I want my money back!

    Servers are always down and Devs are always apologizing. Plus every 3-5 minutes I have lags but game is still running and I can get killed while I see at frozen picture. In forth Act I've lost my reward drop from Mefisto soul stone quest and after this, when I just finished act 4 and got to 5 I've lost my online character and that's all folks! Yes, thanks Blizzard, nothing more your gamesServers are always down and Devs are always apologizing.     Such a shame how a beautifully remastered game can be ruined by a poor crappy service. Servers go down every day for a couple of hours. Blizzard is doing nothing about it and has a useless twitter account that just copy pastes "sorry for the inconvenience". Literally unplayable. Don't buy this.

    First it was the AVX issue which wasn't in the beta but "accidentally added in after". The fix took about 2 weeks with almost no contact updates or response to all the players who couldn't even get refunds. The servers are a huge mess, i can barely even play for more than a few hours.     Character designs are bad and its too SJW. They changed costumes, etc. to conform to the masses.

    4 days in a row, D2R servers are not working. Blizzard's Twitter is mockingly unsubscribing. The problem is not solved. Damage due to character rollbacks is not reimbursed. Will I be buying Blizzard games in the future? Definitely not. Disregard for the community, lack of professionalism - all the achievements of Blizzard. The studio that we knew, loved and respected is no more. One word is shame.

    Game is a classic and i love it. But this remake...... they made it unplayable with 7 hours downtime everyday and massive rollbacks days in a row.

    The loot table is based on diablo 3, its already been 2 weeks and people are already bis for the functionnal builds that are known to the genz and karens.     the skills are even more broken than the usa right now. sorc can over come cold immune but a level 35 conviction skill can’t even break any immunities( good bye infinity) even in normal mode. yesterday it hink.

    players abusing the use of controller support and turbo mode to even outclick the bots ( you gotta have one hell of a turbo for this)
    players scamming each others off and using d2jsp to crank up the prices. i got asked a pdrac for a lum rune and a shako for a io… or i can simply buy off my gears for 1800 usd for a breastplate enigma, 900 usd for a spirit and the best is that blizzard wont do anything about it.

    no help from players, well mostly no help from sorceress since everybody plays one, i main nec and auradin, rip because conviction…

    ladder will not have anything to offer since each and every runeword, cube upgrade and items are ALREADY in non ladder mode.
    constant crashes and server downs… i can crash just by scrolling through the chat, game list or just by touching my keyboard. this game has a stability thats even worst than FO76.

    region locked, because i chose to play in north america AKA the whole mfing usa and canada and the only thing i get are french canadian based players. after further testing its actually true. i played for 5 hours straight in over 200 different games. all were from quebec, english speaker or french speaker.

    PEOPLE CONSTANTLY COMPLAINING THAT D2 IS NOT LIKE D3, POE, ESO and that they cant be fed gears!!! asking for the game to become like d3 poe and the trademarket of ESO!

    the new trend of storming games for 3 months and leaving afterward but before that the new gen of players destroy a game completly and only comes back every now and then to see new content and leave the game bleeding out…

    the fact that blizzard censors everyone that points out broken game mechanics the moment they point it out, its literally like they have a paid army of people flagging everyone that says something that isnt : oh thats awesome me want more.    … Expand

Бессовестное отношение как к пользователям, так и программистам, написавшим данный ремастер.Ремастер игры очень качественный и хорошо реализованный, но поддержка серверов и прогресса вызывает исступление.     I loved the original game, played it a lot between 2000 and 2006. I gave this a try. In my first 48 hours, servers were up for barely 4, and after playing for 4 hours my online character got deleted and support says nothing they can do to recover due to their broken servers. stay away !

    Pretty good remake...if it was possible to actually play the game. Made this acc cause it is really getting silly and this is a small thing to do to voice my dissatisfaction. Not to mention their awful customer support. Another company that became too big för their own good.

    A great remaster that I think is playable by both new and existing players. I love the new graphics and sounds. They're faithful to the original and actually enhance the experience. All modern quality of life improvements are subtle, very welcome and can be disabled for those who want the classic experience.

About the only thing I could wish for is a better performance. The graphics are amazing because of the spot on art style, not because they're so state of the art.     Diablo 2 is a classic, one of the best PC games of all time. D2R remains faithful to that original masterpiece, with updated graphics, and several quality of life improvements.

    after a hard working day, you decide to play with some friends and you can't even connect to battle.net.
    let's say you get lucky, you can connect. now, you can't see your "online" chars.
    lobby system with all the bugs in it is some kind of a joke.
    game becomes very laggy, especially while playing online.
    i don't wanna say a word about in-game chat.
    random rollbacks without an explanation or warning from staff. you may find out your level 87 char becomes 50 and all items get lost. it doesn't matter if you play with that char or not. there is no guarantee that you won't lost your items, levels and time on next login.
    no communication from staff on forums, twitter. nothing!
    they managed to introduce even new bugs in the game.
    yet, they refuse refunds after you played for an hour or so.    … Expand

    Since release on sep 23 there have been ongoing login issues and it is now october 12. I cannot most nights reliably make a game do my magic find run and remake a new game without some sort of server error even after 30 minutes, Blizzard yet again dropping the ball and failing to deliver on what there customers want. Three weeks after release the game still crashes often, has constant server issues and is borderline unplayable on some consoles. I have the game on both PC and switch and as of writing this review creating a character on switch does NOT work for me.

    Today I've just lost all my progress. Yeap, that's it. Leveling, legendary items, time - all's gone. There's no char-vanish-issue, no. There's a rollback, so my character was about 75 lvl now it's 21 with proper item progress. That's all you need to know about this "astonishing" release.

    The servers are down every time I want to play the game. Then the rare chance that they are online, my friends and I are plagued with crashes. Save yourself the frustration and buy this game in a year.

    nice graphics for locations - builds even better atmosphere than original game.
    characters models and animation - controversial (playing as a werewolf though, I think this one gains a lot with remake).
    have not experienced many bugs yet

    Gave it a 0 not because the game is literally unplayable (servers down), but because the way Blizzard handles this is absolutely atrocious. The only communication we get is the same ctrl+c + ctrl+v "We apologize for any inconvenience". It is as if they are not even trying to communicate.

    I was very excited to play Diablo II Resurrected like a lot of the loyal customer base. The graphics looked nice and we knew what we could expect from the story/dungeons/loot since most of us already play it or have played it for a long time.

    It was therefore an absolute dissappointment to see what a disaster this release has been.
    So far this has been my experience or the experience of a lot of the player base.

    First week:
    First 3 days

    Log-in issues making the game unplayable (character is already in game while it is not for multiple hours…)
    Not fixing of the aformetnioned bug except for some important streamers.
    Bugs
    Bots spamming the chat channel with dubious sites to trade items
    Insane downtime (up to 7 hours until the servers were reset)
    Servers (especially on EU) booting you every now and then for no reason, even if your PC has top-tier tech.

    Next weeks:

    Servers crashing on a daily bases causing up to 7 hours downtime a day
    Unstable servers when they are up, booting you out of the system, infuriating people even more (especially on EU)
    Bugs of all sorts, which frankly shouldn’t even be in a beta version of a game.
    Horadric cubes (key item in the game) gone missing after server rollbacks forcing you to do a quest again, sometimes with valuable items in it.
    Items being deleted after rollbacks, aside from horadric cubes
    Bots still spamming the chat channels while nothing is being done about it.
    A complete lack of communication whatsoever what exactly is going on from Blizzards site or when it will be sorted out.

    After almost a month, all of this is very shameful coming from a company that used to be good, disrespectful to any customer who put up 40 € for the game, and borderline breaking some EU-rules on customer rights.

    No matter how much I loved the old D II and the old blizzard who took care of their fan base I can not recommend this game to anyone who wants to have a fun time. At this moment it is not a game. It is unplayable code. Save yourself 40 € or $ and go to the pub instead or have fun playing another game that actually works.    … Expand

    Game has been released prematurely. It is fun when it does not crash and the servers are up. Unfortunately you will loose progress over and over again because of repeated server resets. The lack of communication and customer support does not help either.

    These servers issues are horrible, way worse than back in the days. Not only is playing an issue, with drops, characters missing, but also losing progress and loot after server fails. I can't believe they can screw up this much in 2021...!

    Biggest disappointment of the gaming year 2021. It worse because the actual game itself is indeed alot of fun. Shame ActiBlizz is the publisher (meaning they just suck at providing any kind of service).

    I'm a fan, that paid my money. As a majority of D2 fans, I'm a grown up man, and I have my time busy, so I have to plan when to play for my money.
    Game is totally down for 3 days in a row, Blizzard says **** like 'We know it, stay tuned'.
    So 1 point for game existence and that you can buy it, and no more for no gameplay.

    Mindblown how bad the game's service is since the release. it feels like im playing a beta without almost daily downtime.

    Blizzard is not communicating towards their customers at all which bothers me.

    I've played Diablo II on and off since it released in 1999, along with its expansion in 2001. I cannot believe that a remaster of this game that has given me such entertainment for literal thousands of hours was released this poorly and sloppily.     These were some of the same problems that plagued Diablo III when it first released which resulted in my brother and I refunding our preordered copies. I was so disgusted with the poor remaster of this game that I decided to refund it as well. It turns out that Blizzard is so worried about the game's financial performance that they will refuse to give customers unhappy with their purchase satisfaction.

    I will never play another Blizzard game again. They managed to rope me back in to this one as it was promised to just be a simple remaster of one of my favorite games of all time; back when Blizzard had integrity and wasn't controlled by Activision. Never again. I'm so angry and disappointed with this whole process that I hope the game fails financially and I hope it teaches them a lesson to treat their customers with respect.    … Expand

    More than 2 weeks have passed since the release of the game, and I cannot play it normally. Thanks Blizzard, do not forget to give awards to developers who stand on the streets with posters instead of work.

    Servers are so unreliable, seems to be more down than up during my "playable hours". Such a shame when the graphics looks decent and the game story line brings back nostalgica but what does that help when you can't play the game because it's offline?!

    We are 3 weeks into Diablo II: Resureccted now. I've paid full price for a remastered title because i really loved playing this game back in the days. But the servers are down 2-3 times a day with rollbacks and progress loss. I would love to have something nice to say, but i haven't.

    This is the most insane cash grab I've ever seen. It's just trash. They can't keep the servers up more than 5 minutes. It's been 6 times in like 24 hours now and they're down again.

    Game is good. Servers are ****. I can't understand why you can play alone offline and use the same character for it. I don't want to be online to play alone just because some day I want to play with friends.

    Сервера падают ежедневно, компания пишет свои извинения, откатывает всё на 2 часа назад (т.е. 2 часа в игре твои обнуляются), пишут, что всё восстановили, а через час все повторяется и они снова пишут бот сообщения "Мы знаем, нам жаль".
    Не компания известная на весь мир, а клуб возле дома, где 1 админ обслуживает 1 единственный сервер за банку пива в    Полное неуважение своей аудитории.

Причины меня волнуют мало, тк игра стоит 2к рублей, как ААА продукт, а по факту в нее не поиграть даже. Графику перерисовали конечно красиво, но это не повод экономить на сервисе.     Roll backs, updates to the game mechanics without a blue post about it, 3 days of non stop game crashing and servers being down for half of each day. Blizzard has always is underperforming.

    Servers are constantly lying, it is almost impossible to play. There is no trace of Blizzard's former greatness. They took a great game and ruined it with censorship and broken servers. It would seem that after the failure with Warcraft 3 Refunded, they had to come to their senses, but they did not.

К тому же не оправданно дорогая, не тратьте время.Не игра, а мучения.     I loved the original, but my biggest problem was server stability. They never bothered to fix their 20 year old servers. I was hoping the new one to work better. And sure, new online game always has issues. But its been two weeks since release, almost 3 at the time of writing, and servers are down every day for multiple hours. On top of that there are random crashes, rollbacks. This is ridiculous.

    A solid 5 but only because i'm nostalgic and thankful for upgraded walk down memory lane, rest is just server crashes, server rollbacks- i lost couple quite rare items thanks to that. This is unacceptable blizzard.

С другой стороны если посмотреть сухо на ремастер это не w3 reforged. Но я хочу больше контента в Endgame. Ставлю 10 из 10 !

    First I want to say the game itself, the original DIablo 2, is the GOAT. It's a great game with a good story and addicting hack 'n' slash. However this game, Diablo 2 Resurrected, is terrible. The core game is not terrible, but it's all the issues that has been happening daily. This is not something I expect from a multi-billion dollar game company. It's just problems after problems.First I want to say the game itself, the original DIablo 2, is the GOAT. It's a great game with a good story and addicting hack 'n' slash. This is not something I expect from a multi-billion dollar game company. It's just problems after problems. For instance the past 3 days, the server would just crash and all the characters would disappear. There would be no response from the gaming team for hours, leaving many people worried they lost their hard earned progress. Then we all thought they solved the problem. However after that day, the server seem to be slower than usual. Creating games was slower and overall the game just seem a bit sluggish compared to before the crash happened. Then yesterday, the game crashed again with the same issue. Characters suddenly disappeared and no way to play the game. We all though they solved the problem when it happened the first time, but nope.

    Then just today, it happened once again a 3rd time. At this point I'm left wondering, will they ever fix the problem? It's the same exact issue, the server would crash and my characters would disappear. At this point, I'm pretty sure they're just putting on band-aids instead of actually solving the problem. And I believe this problem will be addressed by another band-aid. I also believe it will happen again tomorrow, and the day after. I don't know when they will ever solve the problem, but I do know they will bleed players.

    One of the biggest issue is the rollbacks. It doesn't happen to everyone, but it does happen to quite a lot of players, including myself. The first time it happened, my characters didn't roll back. The 2nd time, I got rolled back and lost progress and items. The 3rd time, I did not check but I could tell by the placement of my characters that I did roll back, and lost items. Now this is a big problem. It's annoying when it happened the first time, but problems happen. But when the same problem keeps happening and we keep on losing progress and items, then it's a big problem.

    It's unfortunate because this game brings back so much nostalgia and I had a blast playing, when the game actually worked. I'm still going to put up with the BS that has been happening despite losing progress and items. But I have my limits too. If the same exact issue continues to happen, that tells me Blizzard has no intention to fix the problem. It tells me they don't care about the game and the community. If this same problem persists, then I believe this game won't last much longer. I hope they start offering refunds because a lot of players are fed up.    … Expand

    It honestly does not run well for me, and the servers always seem to be down. So even though because the game seems to be down all the time... even when its up not impressed. Was Blizzard's last shot with me and they blew it.

    Diablo II: Resurrected is far from perfect. The changes in character design are likely to rile up returning players, and the archaic gameplay probably won’t agree with younger generations weaned on more streamlined, sophisticated experiences. While I appreciate that this legendary title is now available in an improved format, it’s not a caveat-free recommend.

    Diablo II returns with refreshed graphics and unaltered gameplay (apart from some small improvements). It’s as fun as I remembered, so I quickly felt at home and gave in to nostalgia. However, it’s hard not to notice that beneath revamped visuals lies a 21 years old design. [12/2021, p.32]
