    Играл несколько часов без остановки, почти закончил 1ый акт и тут у меня пропал персонаж из игры. Думал восстановят всё через пару часов, но нет - персонаж пропал навсегда.. Сама игра отличная, но это скорее заслуга не нынешнего состава (в особенности руководства) компании, а ещё тех специалистов, которые в своё старое доброе время пытались вложить душу в продукт. А тут просто перерисовали графику под новый современный лад (спасибо хоть за это) и продали продукт по завышенной цене, чтобы просто напросто сорвать деньги. Казалось, что после провала Wacraft Regorged чему то научатся, но жадность и безразличие к комьюнити взяла своё. Для меня это уже не та компания из старых добрых 90х, которая задавала тренды. Теперь это выкачиватель денег за счёт нашей ностальгии… Expand

    The game graphics does look better; However, beware it is not an offline game anymore. Rough launch though.

    Баги остались, игра часто вылетает.

    Absolutely beautiful and detailed graphics, but sadly terrible performance and modernized quality. Blizzard didn’t test and polish this game, lag between the original game that runs in the background with the new graphics as an overlay, so you’re playing but with moments that things are working because it is not registering with the original game, very frustrating.     I liked the game, but playing it alone was not a good experience for me - I will play with my friends later.

    I was having fun at some point, but then the game started to feel kinda repetitive. With friends, I wouldn't care, but playing solo evidenced it. Also, the storytelling could be better. I felt so disconnected from it, even trying to understand and engage as hard as I could.    I liked the game, but playing it alone was not a good experience for me - I will play with my friends later.

    Don't get me wrong, Diablo 2 is a masterpiece but it is not like it disapeared all of a sudden, it is still very alive and playable. As such I would have liked Vicarious Visions to try and spice things up a little making the game more modern in some aspects and try and alleviate the flaws of the original product.

    Act 3 is still teh same shore, mana early game is as bad as it always was forcing you to fill your inventory with mana pots, well all the flaws are still here.

    Graphically, it is amazing and looks great sadly it does play like the 21 years old game Diablo 2 is. A missed opportunity in my book.

    Still I very much enjoy replaying Diablo 2 but it is worth it only for fans of the game, new comers should look el;sewhere (Grim Dawn, PoE, Last Epoch) as it is rough, a diamond nontheless, Diablo 2 is still a masterpiece but it is clearly a remaster and not a remake.    … Expand

Лица ужасны, все голые, в оригинальной игре, части тела замотаны и спрятаны.     Теперь хорошее: это прекрасный ремастер, монстры и окружение перерисованы фантастически. Геймплейные изменения сведены к минимуму, по этому играется точно так же как 20 лет назад.     First, I will describe the problems, a terrible netcode, monsters teleport, the damage does not pass, you may receive damage from an unpainted lightning or fireball. The icons for gems and skulls were drawn by a first-year design student. The faces and figures of the female characters were drawn by the misogynist and the misogynist together.     beautifull remake from vicarious. **** servers from blizzard. Sadly making this unplayable as servers have been going down nearly daily since launch. I gave them time, its been 3 weeks.

    update: halfway into season 1 and it runs... better. still not where it should be at but hey i'll take it, since its my last blizzard product if immortal gives us a look into blizzards future.

    - 20 Year old game design mentalities with all the clumsiness that surrounds that. All those things you loved? Yup still there. All those things you hated and probably blocked from memory cause it was over 20 years ago? Yup still there. You spend no time in the campaign, you get rushed through to fight baal or mephisto endlessly in hopes for loot that's not stolen by a teleport or leap bot. Make a mistake with your skills or stat points? Welp probably best to remake your character cause you already used your very limited reroll. Randomly ganked? yup. It's very true to form.
    - Graphical Overhaul. I actually feel like while this does look nice if you look at say screen shots, it added too much detail to the point of making the game too visually noisy when you are playing. They also seemed to make original version look worse somehow. Not sure how that happens. Also the no ultrawide support when they said they would was a kick in the stomach.
    - Misleading marketing. I feel like this is probably the spawning pool of all the graphical overhaul hate and to some extent I understand it from that perspective. During their marketing campaigns blizzard spend a very long time explaining how much they wanted this to be true to the original. Digging through old concept art, game sprites etc etc. So when they started to take creative liberties with things in the game they gave us all a comparison point to work with. When things didn't line up, especially the more important things like characters you obviously open yourself to hate. Personally I wish they picked a street. Either say we are giving this an all new fresh twist! or We are making this true to form as original. Don't try to run one side while saying you are doing the other.
    - No TCP/IP
    - Cannot play offline. This kinda hurts a lot as much of how I remember this game was playing it offline so I wouldn't tie up phone lines.
    - They didnt really fix any of the problems that have been present in the game for 20 years. They put lipstick on the pig and pushed it out into the world. So expect old bugs. Also expect LOTS of new ones. Game crashes constantly. You disconnect constantly.

    I'm rambling but the quick and dirty is this: It's the same game you remember from 20 years ago. It looks sometimes better, sometimes worse and functions much worse than its original counterpart. It's lipstick on a old dog, doing the same old tricks. Its fine but I advise you to not spend 40 bucks on this. Far too much money to ask for a graphical update. I'm so glad they had a openbeta for this to ward off the wary.    … Expand

    In general good graphics update though sadly with some changes to original game ideas.
    If it's ok to make such changes to so many characters why it's not ok to also fix some problems that the original game has and that were fixed by mods created by players?

    Unfortunately, it's hard to enjoy that game because of constant problems with servers: it's not fun to lose your progress again and again.

    Графоний класс, на этом плюсы всё. Нет модов (модеры сказали - делать не будем без сетевой игры), кастомных серверов и TCP/IP нет. Цензура напрягает. Ну и вся игра через Battle.net который 3ий день подряд ложится на 2-5 часов в дневное время, и данную ситуацию не    Diablo 2 Disconnected Хорошая игра. Полная перерисовка в очень хорошем качестве без изменения основы легендарной игры.

    Графоний класс, на этом плюсы всё.

    It's a buggier and more laggy version of the original with upgraded graphics. I wouldn't recommend buying this game until after the issues have been patched

    Solid game but the logging in queues and very grindy nature means it not a game I could recommend to anyone. The new graphics are brilliant and nice to have the graphics switcher also!

    Diablo is an absolute masterpiece. At least you could've make only mechanics expansion with smth good from modern action rpg's. 5/10 for visual mod.

    In an attempt to keep things authentic to what we came to love back in 2000, Blizzard took a darling game, updated it with graphics that were obviously meant for their upcoming (ha, upcoming is not the right word) release of Diablo 4. They seemingly did not take into account how the game would actually play on an entirely new visual system.     I loved this game back in the day, but damn, I do not remember it being this frustrating. And not in terms of difficulty, but in terms choppy game play. When I click the button, my character should do the thing for one. I know that veterans of this game enjoy the throwback. I know that people played D3 and were like "this isn't my D2 that I came to love," but like could they not implement some QoL improvements that we saw in D3? How long has battle.net chat been integrated with all of their games? And now here we are creating channels just to send a whisper. Which is outside of my point a little, but really.

    This is such a huge cash grab that I 100% fell for. Everyone who wants to play this game or get the nostalgic feel of Mephisto runs should really look to Project Diablo 2. Which is open source as long as you have a diablo 2 key or whatever. It was community-driven and, in my opinion, way better than Resurrected. Granted it doesn't have the cute graphics like this, but honestly, I'd take it over this one.

    5/10, 4 of which are due to nostalgia and cutscenes. So really, if you weren't a hardcore D2 player back in the day, I don't really know how I could recommend this.    … Expand

    A solid 5 but only because i'm nostalgic and thankful for upgraded walk down memory lane, rest is just server crashes, server rollbacks- i lost couple quite rare items thanks to that. This is unacceptable blizzard.

    Графен годно переработали но вот косяки с онлайном это такой детсад, на дворе 2к21 год, вы до сих пор не научились не обсираться на запуске важных игр? Дьябла могла отмыть часть репутации близзов, но им видать это не интересно.
    Смена дизайна женских персонажей меня особо не волнует т.к я играю брутальными мужиками.    … Expand

    nice graphics for locations - builds even better atmosphere than original game.
    characters models and animation - controversial (playing as a werewolf though, I think this one gains a lot with remake).
    have not experienced many bugs yet

    В игре прекрасно всё, кроме сетевой составляющей. С момента релиза прошло больше месяца, а поиграть сетевым персонажем до сих пор невозможно. Либо очередь на сервер, либо вылет.

    The all time Classic is perfectly alive again! Some server issues which is normal on such a big launch. Game itself is flawless.

    Better looking version of the gold oe game.... Really! It is the same game! - including the bugs. Can you imagine how screwed up this is: Selling a 20 year old game with better graphics for 2/3 of a full-prize game and not even bothering to fix game-breaking bugs. This is the state of Blizzard in a nutshell for you. Living quite literaly from the past.

However it seems they didn't fix some of the issues it had since then, which at times is pretty annoying, especially if you consider paying money for this game (40 Euros isn't cheap tbh).

    It's because i would have liked seeing them release a fixed version (i still have all my old and later disc / dvd copies) for that amount but unfortunately they haven't done so yet. There might be fixes or patches coming to address the faulty hitboxes and pathfinding issues etc it currently has a lot of.
    Other than that, it's a fairly stable game with a steady player base, and the entire game including expansion to keep you busy with for quite some time even for casual players..
    I'll rate it 7/10 but that's because i loved the original which to me personally is still a far better version, and the 2008 version is actually better than this one as well, no lie i can play it perfectly on Windows 10 without that much adjustment needed to run it smooth as butter and on 1080p.
    But hey, hopefully this game gets the help where it needs and afterwards i'll gladly rate it higher than a 7/10. For now, i just can't but nonetheless i'm enjoying Diablo 2 Resurrected despite its flaws.    … Expand

I think most of the bad reviews are from people have a poor experience with Blizzard's servers crashing, not being able to connect in the first place, and on consoles tons of missing features such as sorting through games/creating games. I totally understand those bad reviews and I feel Diablo 2 Resurrected is best played Offline Solo and the renewed graphics and content/bug fixes really shine there, imo. I highly recommend this game to new & old players and encourage people to play Offline and research the game online to understand the many game mechanics. When I had my damage aura on, I was oneshotting most enemies (I followed a build), and the Summonmancer I was with (who was also following a guide) was doing next to nothing for the entirety of hell. Some builds just aren't viable for long-term and it's brutal that they didn't have a balancing patch at launch for this.

    I'm on a GTX 1070 and max the game out with 60fps @ 1080p, but whenever I'm in the open areas of Act V, even with no enemies on the screen, I will get around 40fps, even if I lower settings, always the same fps. Seems like a bug. My Summonmancer would have enemies in River of Flame (Act IV area) show up as black boxes rather than enemies, so played through that area with legacy graphics so they could actually see what was going on.

    Drop rates need to be buffed, I'm really not interested in being one of these people who farms for 20 hours without getting anything they're after, and I also don't see how it's fun that you have people who can put in 15 minutes and get godly drops just because the rates for endgame gear being absolutely abysmal and some people getting extremely lucky.

    I played with a controller and it feels superior to M&K (since movement is better and you have more skills available with one button press) except for a few things: One, in general it can be a bit of a pain to target specific items to pickup, so if you're trying for specific pickups before M&K players, good luck. Also sometimes I would just not be able to pick up an item because it was stuck in a wall, so I would either have to switch to mouse for it or have my Summonmancer coop buddy pick it up and trade it to me. The other issue with controller is the interact button prioritizes summons over interacting with other things for some reason, so if you have a bunch of summons on an item, merchant, stash or TP, you won't be able to use them, as hitting the interact button will just move you to the summon. I have no idea why this is the way it is, it feels like a blatant oversight and it would only get more complicated in 8 player games with multiple summon characters. Also you cannot move the map with controller, you can do this with the arrow keys on keyboard but on controller this should be bound to moving right stick.

    The new graphics are amazing, the gameplay is still good enough, but it's rough in a lot of areas and the only reason the game didn't get the overhaul it deserves is because of all the sticks in the mud who would whine and complain about any updates, even though they can always stick to the legacy version if that's what they prefer. Hopefully improvements come moving forward, as-is it's fun but know that you're going to have to deal with some oldschool garbage and not 100% perfect controller support - they thought of most things with controller, but not everything.    … Expand

    Most of the complaints are about server problems and whatnot, if you can actually play it's pretty solid. Though $40 is a little steep.

    Эндгейм контента, к сожалению, нет. Весь "фан" для высокоуровневого персонажа состоит в том, что ты спидранишь боссов, убивая их сотни раз. И насколько я знаю, близы не собираются дополнять игру. А жаль.

    Однако знать истоки жанра - важно, так что рекомендую всем фанатам Пое и других подобных игр пройти классику хоть раз.
    PS: нынешний близзард уже врядли имеет прямое отношение к франшизе Диабло, сильно надеюсь, что Дэвид Бревик и братья Шефферы получают прибыль с игры.    … Expand

    It’s Diablo 2 with an OK’ish coat of new paint. Honestly don’t know what I was expecting. If you were a fan of it back in the day or are just really bored with 40 bucks burning a hole in your pocket, then I’d say grab it. If not, just play POE.

    Game is boring. I bought it with Diablo 3. I like Diablo 3 way better. Everybody kept saying oh you'll love Diablo 2... it was meh. might pick it up again one day down the road. disapointed.

I also really liked the minor upgrades in convenience they made.     A fantastic game and a remake that's faithful to the original; it plays smooth, graphics are absolutely amazing. Each act is a joy to revisit. I always found act 3 especially repetitive and bit slow in the original, this is just so much more fun with the graphics overhaul.     As much as I loved D2, I couldn't bring myself to go back and play it at the low resolution that it was originally released with. D2:R fixed that issue, and so much more. I will admit I didn't play this at launch because I only play ladder, so I completely bypassed all the server issues that occurred during the game's launch.     The only nagging problem I have with the game is that game finding is still a pain, with constant refreshing, and unfortunately seeing the same open games over and over again, some of them being third party sites trying to sell gold/items/whatever, and the games never seem to disappear.

    I would have given a higher rating, but during an internet outage awhile back, I wound up being unable to play the game, even single-player, because it required me to get the latest patch... which I couldn't because I had no internet. Instead, I went and played games from Steam, because at least that's a company that understands that sometimes your internet drops and doesn't force you to be online and have your games up to date... for OFFLINE play. Seems rather straightforward, but Blizzard today is no longer the company we grew up loving and rooting for.    … Expand

    Completed Diablo for the first time. Played solo. The gameplay across all acts is boring. Repetitive actions all the time. The most exciting about this game is cinematics.

    Very good implementation. Upate Controls with mouse and keyboard. Biggest issue: why the heck no crossplay? Really dont get it. It was almost a no buy factor for me. Let me play with my Friends!

    Great game that brings back nostalgia. Too bad shoddy programming and general lack of caring making this "resurrection" only OK. Server issues and bugs still abundant 7 months after release. I miss the real Blizzard.

    Diablo II: Resurrected is far from perfect. The changes in character design are likely to rile up returning players, and the archaic gameplay probably won’t agree with younger generations weaned on more streamlined, sophisticated experiences. While I appreciate that this legendary title is now available in an improved format, it’s not a caveat-free recommend.

    Diablo II returns with refreshed graphics and unaltered gameplay (apart from some small improvements). It’s as fun as I remembered, so I quickly felt at home and gave in to nostalgia. However, it’s hard not to notice that beneath revamped visuals lies a 21 years old design. [12/2021, p.32]
