    Doing a "remaster" of an old game and manage to somehow **** it up ? Well Blizzard doesn't disappoint us once again. Selling a game that just needed a remaster (no new story line or mode or anything) at full price, and managing to have their servers crash every 3 hours ? That's talent boys.

    40 euros for a 20 Years old game I already bought a few times. They say they kept the whole game and added a graphic layer plus a few UI improvements. The game servers are down for a week now. I play Hardcore, loading time are long enough for characters to die within the loading. If you can play for an hour, it is a miracle. But when the server crashes (2 or 3 times a day), you get a40 euros for a 20 Years old game I already bought a few times. They say they kept the whole game and added a graphic layer plus a few UI improvements. The game servers are down for a week now. I play Hardcore, loading time are long enough for characters to die within the loading. If you can play for an hour, it is a miracle. But when the server crashes (2 or 3 times a day), you get a several hours rollback, losing all your progress. They don't give any information regarding the issues, since a week. They even lie.     I don't play very many games anymore, but wanted in on the D2 nostalgia. I've heard some criticisms about the changes from original, but the direction the remaster went is good. I now remember some of the aspects of the game that were annoying, but it is faithful to what the gameplay originally was.

    However, the implementation of the game has serious flaws and bugs. A score of 0 is    I don't play very many games anymore, but wanted in on the D2 nostalgia. I now remember some of the aspects of the game that were annoying, but it is faithful to what the gameplay originally was.

    However, the implementation of the game has serious flaws and bugs. A score of 0 is entirely earned. Launch day was absolutely horrendous, giving me flashbacks of D3. I could only get an hour of game play on launch day. At this point there have been two patches put out, but the game constantly crashes on my 3-year old XPS laptop. The game just crashed 10x in a row trying to load into Act V town. I've tried every possible iteration to no avail, including all difficulties, creating a game, joining a game, loading into Act V from a different Act, etc. Not being able to do Baal runs is game breaking.

    I've also had my Dell recovery BIOS scan and fix disk corruption issues after several D2 crashes yesterday. The game is clearly not ready and may even damage/corrupt your hard drive. Under normal circumstances, I'd say that is enough to qualify for a refund.

    Update: Three weeks into launch and I'm still having problems getting my characters to show up. I do not have confidence that the game will be running smoothly any time this year.

    Update: I just spent over 30 minutes looking at the login queue and still don't have access my online characters. Why was this game released? It was never ready. I realize that they are trying to fix the problems, but the game is still barely playable even weeks after launch. Launching a non-working product should be grounds for a mass-refund campaign.    … Expand

    Well 0 because we just can't play it.
    40 bucks for a game that queue you for more that 1 hour to crash after 10 min of play and then 1 more hour in queue. On console you juste have serveur errors and can't even play (and you pay for the game and the online on console...)

    Gameplay is still fun and updated graphics look nice, but absolutely not worth buying with all of the technical issues. Servers down for a large chunk of time 6 days straight (some days over 5 hours), AVX issues at launch, now a 30+ minute login queue…

    I'm busy family guy. I can play few hours in Saturday evening. And exactly this time Diablo OFFICIALLY writes me "you are 451 in queue" so i must wait few hours for connecting?
    I spent money for THIS?

    Here we go again, were to start. False advertising, unstable service, bugs and crashes. The good old Blizzard is clearly gone. Before release they said you would be able to make new games without realm down, do pindle runs, etc.... Now we have a new error message with is basically a realm down but they managed to add queue to the whole story. In 21 years the issue is still the same andHere we go again, were to start. Ладно бы разовая акция или плановая, но в течение целой недели, как по часам, падение на 6-8 часов днем, в пик онлайна, когда всем удобно играть после работы или на выходном. И что сделали Близы? Верно - целую неделю приносили извинения, но ситуацию так и не решили. Спустя неделю - о чудо! был    Игра класс! НО!!!
    Купил, начал играть, получил удовольствие, а потом начались отвалы сервера. Внезапно выяснилось неочевидное - оказывается, игра то старая. И код игры старый. И вообще - игроки сами виноваты. Ведь в игре про фарм игроки, какая неожиданность, ФАРМЯТ. Перезапускают игровую сессию и снова фармят. А игроков оказалось много (какая неожиданность)!
    И какое решение придумали Близы - а сделаем ка очереди на сервер, которая длится по полчаса и выше. А если не хотите сидеть в бессмысленном ожидании - играйте ОФЛАЙН! Как будто я ради офлайна и покупал двадцатилетнюю игру с онлайн режимом за 40 баксов! Ха-ха!
    А по факту - просто сэкономили на серверах, мол через пару-тройку месяцев само собой все рассосется и проблема исчезнет, когда некоторая часть игроков сама уйдет из игры после прохождения игры на Норме.
    P.S. Место ожидания в очереди 358.

    Servers are always down.
    For the few hours a day when they are not down the game crashes, you are not able to create or join games or you have hours long queue. They destroyed Warcraft III with reforged and now they destroyed Diablo II with resurrected. Blizzard is pretty much just a troll company at this point.

    Отличный графон. Действительно затянуло как в детстве, но последнюю неделю не могу поиграть, сбрасываются персонажи и прогресс. Ввели очередь чтобы войти в онлайн, при этом бывают вылеты в момент ожилания, в итоге снова заходишь в игру и твое место уже овер 500. Как можно было так обосраться? Я уверен, что вас всех закроют и честно буду рад. Я все еще помню про варкрафт.... Матом хочуОтличный графон.     "Diablo disconnected" servers down all the time. This game is great, but the issue is that Blizzard servers make it impossible to play it. Blizzard is not willing to refund players either. Scam. Last game i ever bought for them-It's a promise!

    I can't use the game I bought (again) for 40 EUR for 8th consecutive day because the deves haven't thought that 20 year old multiplayer code might need a bit of revamp before releasing to production. Seriously? Ever heard of stress testing before release?

    This game is completely unplayable - the servers do not work. You will either disconnect, or be placed in queue for HOURS. Regardless of how the actual game plays when it works, it is undeniably not ready for release since it simply can't be played, at all.     I often get disconnected with server, can't play well for 2 weeks so far. I can not accept the explanation of Blizzard about "modern player behaviour", they don't playing games, do they? I'm so disappointed.

This game has been offline 16.30 on for 4 days in a row so I didn't get to play once. Now on saturday they invented queue, so during my 1-2h playtime only thing I can do is watch queue.     PC version is terrible unless you use remote. Also don't make an online character, you will barely ever be able to play it since the servers are almost always down. I bought this to play with my friend, but every time we go to play the servers are down. But if you want to solo it completely the game is fine. I just don't like the expensive price tag for a game you can't play half the time.

    Но у меня крешед игру частенько. Серваки стабильно умирающие на несколько часов в прайм тайм, сейчас вроде как починили, но добавлением очереди ( ждать ~30 минут) ноу снкс. По совокупности отличная игра в которую не поиграть, 0/10.    Сама игра отличная, хотя хотелось чтобы игру доработали, поменяли баланс и тд. Но как настольгия 10из10.

    Now you need to wait in a que to play the game, a limitation the Blizz did not infom you once you buy the game and something that breaks in my honest opinion the terms and conditions under which you buy a product and gets rights yo use it freely on a daily basis!
    If you havent bought this game - DONT DO IT!
    If you alredy have - spam Blizz with refund requests each day and every day as D2R is garbage, worth maximum 5$ (just to play single) and not 40$!    … Expand

    This game could be great, but it just isn´t. The stability of the client and even more so for the servers is not even acceptable for a beta test, yet they released it in this way. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Diablo II resurrected until they solved their problems and removed they queue.

    It is not awful per se, but there has been an awful start, there are technical problems like crashes, login failures, and periodic inability to play multiplayer.
    It's not even good for nostalgia because blizzard decided to censor a lot here. Almost every female character is not even similar to how she looks in classic. And that really destroys the immersion.

    Сначала сервера 6 дней подряд лежали по вечерам, а теперь близзы их "починили" знаете как? добавили очередь на вход в игру! теперь чтобы поиграть, нужно прождать минут 20 (это в утреннее время), вечером наверное ещё дольше будет. Я конечно всё понимаю: маленькая инди-студия, все дела.... но за этот высер сутулой собаки и возврат средств сделать нельзя -_-

    Being a old school and long time Diablo 2 player, i will say it's the game i used to love and play way back in the day. However it seems they didn't fix some of the issues it had since then, which at times is pretty annoying, especially if you consider paying money for this game (40 Euros isn't cheap tbh).

    It's because i would have liked seeing them release a fixed version (i still have all my old and later disc / dvd copies) for that amount but unfortunately they haven't done so yet. There might be fixes or patches coming to address the faulty hitboxes and pathfinding issues etc it currently has a lot of.
    Other than that, it's a fairly stable game with a steady player base, and the entire game including expansion to keep you busy with for quite some time even for casual players..
    I'll rate it 7/10 but that's because i loved the original which to me personally is still a far better version, and the 2008 version is actually better than this one as well, no lie i can play it perfectly on Windows 10 without that much adjustment needed to run it smooth as butter and on 1080p.
    But hey, hopefully this game gets the help where it needs and afterwards i'll gladly rate it higher than a 7/10. For now, i just can't but nonetheless i'm enjoying Diablo 2 Resurrected despite its flaws.    … Expand

    Blizzard = Scam Company... Should have know after WC3 Remake.. Basically bought a game for 40 bucks which is unplayable cuz of non existing servers.. Blizzard topped himself.. Refund is declined, i will never buy a blizzard title again.
    How will blizzard fix the servers issues? 2/3 of the buayers will give up frustasted after weeks and the rest can play halfway.. What a **** scamer company

    Amazing looking environments, awesome reworked cinematics, nice ingame FPS but fries your GPU a bit, and completely ruined updated character models (catered to woke pressure and because of blizzard lawsuit drama). Naked dead women is fine but a bit of skin on your amazon (whom is now 50 years old btw) is too much. Naked dead women is fine but a bit of skin on your amazon (whom is now 50 years old btw) is too much. Blizzard knows dead women can't say no so it's fine picturing them naked, just don't sexualize the living ones. You're also getting an asian assassin btw and a hobo druid.

    Server downs permanently, lost characters and items. Lag ALL DAY ALL TIME. I ve loved this game for years, they lunch this remake and is absolutly unplayable. When the game is online you got lags and problems that you never had on the original one 20 years ago... but dont worry cuzz dont use to happens... cuzz servers are ever off. 40 euros of a game that you cannot play :S

    Stop review bombing this game. You really have nothing to complain about. You’re probably inventing bugs that don’t exist cause you don’t know how to program a simple HTML document let alone write a game in a language like C++. This game stayed true to the original and I love the new graphics. I missed Diablo 2 and it’s great to see it back.

    Diablo 2 is still an amazing game, played it since 2004, but it's polluted by the laziness, the mediocrity and the censorship of bli$$ard. Game is constantly crashing, servers are dead every days for hours, poor new features, no mods support as promised, ingame chat is pure sh*t. They dont deserve such a beautiful franchise like Diablo.

    Arnaque ! Le jeu plante constamment vers 15h depuis 5jours au moment de la rédaction de cette avis. Le jeu n'est pas stable plusieurs plantage sans raison quand les serveurs sont up. Temps de chargement extrêmement long même avec un SSD. Le prix 40€ pour la refonte graphique n'est pas justifié.

    Constant server disruptions. And by constant, I mean every single day at the same time, for six days straight. And this is happening one month after launch, not on launch day or launch week. The CS team remains vague of what the problem is and is not being transparent in communicating what steps are being taken to rectify the ongoing problem, except for template PR tweets.

    An outage normally results in you losing items and experience in a rollback. Yes, multiple rollbacks a day. Losing any good items you picked up.

    Too many disconnects! 5 day it is impossible to enter the game. Constant rollbacks. And this is a $ 40 game? We are beta testers in it. Blizzard does nothing, I already regret buying this game. Apparently you need to go to the classic version, there is at least full support for mods.

    It has been almoast a month sice relese of the game and still cant log in properly. Every day thare are trobles with finding your characters on the server. The game closes it self constantly and you lose your progress. It is simply annoying and sometimes unplayable. Activision GET YOU **** TOGEATHER!

Some patch happens, frost mastery no longer breaks immunity. No communication that that would happen (in a game with limited respeccs). And, since there are no patch notes, and no communication from blizz, we can´t even be 100% certain that they changed it on purpose, might just be a bug now.

    The biggest issue though, that runs this down from 9/10 to 1/10 is the servers. Since I started playing, the servers are down up to 10 hours per day. Every day. Open Bnet/tcpip play was removed, so all you can do in this quintessencial multiplayer game is play singleplayer.
    Oh, and of course Blizzard´s communication on the server issues is barely existent.    … Expand

    Diablo II: Resurrected is far from perfect. The changes in character design are likely to rile up returning players, and the archaic gameplay probably won’t agree with younger generations weaned on more streamlined, sophisticated experiences. While I appreciate that this legendary title is now available in an improved format, it’s not a caveat-free recommend.
