Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters is hardly a world beater, and it certainly doesn't have anything that you haven't seen before, but it is a strangely entertaining way to pass a few hours.- Xbox Achievements

Featuring characters it's difficult to give a shit about, as well as an entirely throwaway narrative that you'll immediately forget as soon as the credits roll, Bloodshore is mildly entertaining, but only in a “look at how bad this is” way. Don't waste your time.- Xbox Achievements

Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is not the leap forward that many would have hoped and, in truth, feels like it steps back into safer territory for the most part. Having a second character is also held back by the unreliability of the AI and most of the levels feel like they have been designed to look great rather than play well. Good and bad then, rather like a lot of the recent Disney output, but still worth a look.- Xbox Achievements

On paper, The Bunker sounds like a fantastic premise for a taut psychological horror that's both claustrophobic and frightening. As it stands, however, the game doesn't hang together as well as it should, most moments of drama provoking laughter when you should be on the edge of your seat. One instance made me grit my teeth and squirm, but the rest of the game is ineffective in generating any real atmosphere. I really wanted to love The Bunker, but it just doesn't work.- Xbox Achievements

While Mount & Blade: Warband hasn't really gained a whole lot in the jump from PC to console, it's great that such a deep and sprawling game has found a home on new platforms after so many years. It looks dreadful, but scratch beneath the surface, and Warband is an enormously rewarding RPG/strategy/medieval warfare sim-type thing that's becomes more and more compelling the more you play.- Xbox Achievements

Legacy of Kain: Ascendance is an adequate chunk of side-scrolling action, with some perfectly standard platforming thrown in, but it’s bogged down in dull lore.- Xbox Achievements

I actually really enjoyed this game, but I can't say it really wowed me though. It was short, repetitive and overall didn't add anything new to the genre, but somehow just like its movie counterpart, it had charm and didn't aim to do anything but provide enjoyment; something it succeeded in very well.- Xbox Achievements

A disappointing offering and one that is especially perplexing after War for Cybertron offered so much potential. Every aspect of this game is lacking in some way and the only boon is the fact it is mercifully short. Childhood memories – consider yourself crushed.- Xbox Achievements

Boasting solid combat marred by a woolly lock-on system and repetitive objectives, Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is, nonetheless, a mostly enjoyable hack 'n' slash adventure that's best played in co-op.- Xbox Achievements

An okay strategy game that doesn’t take advantage of the fantastic world of The Dark Crystal. Dull missions and strange gameplay quirks make this game difficult to recommend.- Xbox Achievements

Front Mission Evolved does offer some doses of fun, but the campaign is far too short with a story that is patchy at best. More entertainment can be found online, but even at the relatively close proximity to launch, the community is worryingly small. Perhaps a return to the familiar turn- based RPG roots would be for the best based on this fairly average offering.- Xbox Achievements

Lulled into thinking Tron: Evolution might actually be half-decent on first impressions, we feel a genuine sense of disappointment that it gradually turns out to be yet another poor movie tie-in that's fairly unmemorable, repetitive and a bit dull overall. Here's hoping that the movie is infinitely better than this.- Xbox Achievements

A disappointing entry in the Lost Planet series that occasionally shows flashes of potential, but ultimately ends up being marred by numerous problems, Lost Planet 3 manages to eke out a mildly compelling story and a solid multiplayer mode. More akin to the first game, Lost Planet 3 will nonetheless leave you cold.- Xbox Achievements

The game will perpetually get compared to WWE All Stars and I think it’s fair. I have to admit that through my rose colored glasses, I remember All Stars as the better overall title at launch, but the lack of roster depth (including no women) and the fact that it died off because its parent studio did really hurt its potential. The fact that Battlegrounds still that potential to be discovered and 2K can do so much more with it makes this an interesting title to watch, and one I’d recommend giving a shot if it intrigues you enough.- Xbox Achievements

Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood fails to satisfy as a stealth game or a brawler, and is let down by poor AI and shoddy presentation. At its best, it’s playable, but commits the cardinal sin of just being boring.- Xbox Achievements

A great party game, that'll keep a party going with its variety of nutty mini-games. As with any Kinect game, it has its foibles, but get some friends around and you'll have a blast. The only downside is an issue of longevity, as once you've exhausted the mini-games, you're unlikely to go back.- Xbox Achievements

The Dragon Ball series has been trying to peddle long range, multi-tiered combat for quite some time now and it never seems to pull it off. The controls and combos in Raging Blast 2 can be fiddly at the best of times and fights can become decidedly one-sided which is annoying, even when it's in your favour.- Xbox Achievements

Great fun in the short term, Micro Machines World Series just doesn't have the legs to be something you'll return to again and again. The nostalgic pull might be strong, but unless you have friends prepared to regularly play it with you, it's unlikely you'll get swept up in Micro Machines World Series for more than a few hours.- Xbox Achievements

Dr. Kawasima's Body and Brain Training is an entertaining novelty at first, but it quickly becomes tiresome after a few days. An achievement awarded for playing a total of 50 days seems hugely ambitious then, as the appealing Avatar-based challenges will grow increasingly dull, prompting you to find new methods of self-improvement. Perhaps Kawashima should practice what he preaches, and go back into training and come back with a better score.- Xbox Achievements

Dead Island: Riptide takes all of the worst elements of that title, removes some of the better ones and adds a few features that are average at best to create something that is wholly underwhelming. Here’s hoping this series is allowed to rest in peace.- Xbox Achievements

Despite a robust handling model, some fairly impressive visuals, and a few nice ideas, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown fails to deliver on its open-world racing remit, with a dearth of things to do, broken online servers, and a tacked-on story that does little to draw you in. This one's stalled at the starting line.- Xbox Achievements
