This game brings back a lot of memories but fails to provide many out and out laughs. The game is also remarkably short and easy even on the toughest settings, so will not really provide any long term appeal. Rent it for a nice homage to some classics but never imagine it will be join them in the upper echelons of gaming goodness.- Xbox Achievements

Joy Ride, bless it, tries desperately hard to be Microsoft's answer to Mario Kart on so many levels which makes it even more cringeworthy to see it fall flat on its face every time. With twitchy controls, uninspired gameplay, and a sheer lack of any sense of speed or adrenaline that you're supposed to get from a racer, Joy Ride is anything but what its name suggests.- Xbox Achievements

A limp and generic single-player is aided by a multiplayer offering with a few good ideas, but on the whole Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City doesn't feel like a game that will provide enough entertainment to justify you shelling out.- Xbox Achievements

A fine idea at its heart, Extinction ultimately falls flat on its arse thanks to a dearth of interesting objectives and gameplay sorely lacking in variety. Chucking in loads of content clearly isn't the answer when you're doing the same damn thing over and over again.- Xbox Achievements

Game of Thrones is definitely worth a look if you have the patience to make it past the dull opening hours. If you're a fan of the books or the show, you'll enjoy the references to the wider lore, but you might enjoy the stilted combat, poor visuals and abhorrent voice acting a lot less. Hardened Game of Thrones fans need only apply.- Xbox Achievements

Carmageddon: Max Damage has a certain appeal, but if you don't get the game's uniquely sick sense of humour, you're going to hate it.- Xbox Achievements

Nothing at all in this game stands out from any other First-Person Shooter currently available, from the menus, to the gameplay, and of course the graphics. Everything feels a bit half hearted, and possibly the games famous franchise was relied on to push high sale figures instead of actual quality gameplay itself.- Xbox Achievements

Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: Cosmic Destruction is a fun kids game, but one that wears out its welcome rather quickly and doesn't offer anything in the way of long term entertainment or innovation. Rent it for your kids, but don't expect too much from it.- Xbox Achievements

Cheap, poorly designed and worst of all, crushingly boring, Tour de France 2013 is about as classy as some cut out and keep Bradley Wiggins mutton chops and half as fun.- Xbox Achievements

The value of the downloadable content is surely the pack’s questionable aspect. Adding multiplayer maps to a pretty poor online mode won’t please the vast majority of fans of the title that have no love for its multiplayer gangsta’ stylings. Those that love Saints Row 2 for its wide open, co-op enabled world will ultimately come away disappointed having spent 800 points on what ultimately is a few extra vehicles and an hour’s worth of gameplay.- Xbox Achievements

Throwaway macabre fun, Murdered: Soul Suspect will likely keep you hooked until its only partially predictable conclusion. The game does a decent job of throwing up red herrings, before delivering its ending, but the journey to get there is a largely uninspired and inconsistent slog.- Xbox Achievements

While the apocalypse is traditionally painted in varying shades of drab brown and grey, here it's brought to life in lovely bucolic greens and yellows. This pastoral loveliness doesn't disguise the fact that Generation Zero is unremittingly, cripplingly dull, providing protracted periods of walking vast distances with all-too short bouts of gunplay. How the developer behind Just Cause managed to create this vacuous, pointless game is beyond me.- Xbox Achievements

This game is exceptionally derivative and remarkably sub-par. The real problem though is that it is just not that much fun – and that is a problem that no game can recover from.- Xbox Achievements

Fans of the show will no doubt get something out of this, but on a fundamental level, South Park: Snow Day! emerges as a somewhat shallow and unsatisfying experience, despite its best efforts to provide depth through cards and other light RPG elements. After Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole, this feels like a backwards step.- Xbox Achievements

This game is bad, but at least it’s playable. It is extremely short, but that is actually a positive for it, which is something you never want as a developer. Stay clear at all costs unless you need a quick gamerscore boost.- Xbox Achievements

On paper (or celluloid) Yoostar 2 is a great idea, but it's hampered by a sloppy user interface, blocky outlines, Kinect tics and a weird mix of movie clips. It's guaranteed to provide a few hours of entertainment and some hearty belly laughs, but ultimately, Yoostar 2 is a bit of a box-office flop.- Xbox Achievements

While we'd hoped for better things from Aspyr's remastered Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection, this is nonetheless an adequate way to revisit a couple of shooter greats from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. I mean the mid 2000s. No doubt further patches (there's already been a significant one) will improve things somewhat.- Xbox Achievements

Soldier of Fortune III: Payback has a wonderful plot. The downside is the bugged single player, the terrible framerate, and the sometimes glitchy audio. The only great part about the game, is the timeless multiplayer which has so much to offer.- Xbox Achievements

There’s some good ideas and nice execution beneath Homefront: The Revolution’s terrible performance and dodgy design. Very occasionally, everything lines up to make for a unique experience. However, the fact that the game was even released in this poor state is terrible.- Xbox Achievements

While Fallout 76 is effectively a buggy mess, marred by frame-rate issues, quest bugs and general calamity when it comes to the engine, there’s still a decent amount of fun to be had here. Whatever you do, though, don’t come in expecting Fallout 5 otherwise you will be supremely disappointed. Fallout 76 is effectively about base-construction, survival and world-building, not the story and your part in it, which isn’t a bad thing. The execution is though.- Xbox Achievements

LA Cops is a neat game of cops and criminals that's just too short-lived and lacking. The 70s style is a nice touch and the partner dynamic adds a strategic bent (even if we did mostly just use the second cop as an extra life) to what is otherwise a fairly sterile twin-stick shooter.- Xbox Achievements

We all wanted this game to be good, and perhaps that sense of expectation has proven to be too much. But even then you can look at the shabby graphics, woeful humour and dull gameplay and realise that this game would have been underwhelming whenever it was released. A real shame.- Xbox Achievements

A flight game that never quite takes off, mainly due to the fact everything feels like it has been done on a tight budget and, more importantly, that everything feels a little bit laboured. The campaign never really gets going, the multiplayer is so-so and only the co-op offers any real fun, mainly because that's what co-op is all about. Damage Inc.: Pacific Squadron WWII is a generic flight game designed to sell a peripheral, so you'll get just as much enjoyment out of the game as that.- Xbox Achievements

Building a game around James Cameron’s 1986 sci-fi classic should be the recipe for a tense, action-packed shooter bursting with atmosphere and scares. Instead we get one of the biggest disappointments in recent years. Aliens: Colonial Marines is a shameful, at times broken, and consistently woeful waste of potential.- Xbox Achievements

Call of Juarez: The Cartel surprised us, and not in a good way, as it took everything that was good about the last game and pretty much ruined it. The technical flaws are numerous, and The Cartel just isn't fun in any way, shape or form. This is like that terrible one night stand that happened when you'd had one too many and, frankly people, you can do much better than this.- Xbox Achievements
