Jul 8, 2016Violent, vulgar and crude, Carmageddon: Max Damage is downright offensive and all the better for it. And with a highly entertaining gameplay loop that gives you a great degree of freedom, it’s a blast from the past that occasionally puts a foot wrong but is easily forgiven.
-
Jul 8, 2016With the right power-ups and speed, Carmageddon can eventually become a beautifully manic game full of offensive humour and gratuitous gore. While this may be the best Carmageddon game, Carmageddon was sadly never that great to begin with.
-
Jul 24, 2016Although suffering a not-excelling technical framework, the overall result is fairly good, offering engaging and functional gameplay. The guys at Stainless Games brought this new chapter of Carmageddon to life addressing their work toward the brand lovers. That is, we can't recommend the game to everyone but it will surely be appreciated by the franchise fans - ready to dive in this perverted mix of crazy cars - as well as by the outsider old-school game seekers. The newbies may find it quite trivial though: the entertainment is strongly hooked to the 90s concept without any significant change.
-
Jul 8, 2016Not the best racing game out there, nor the best action game. A remake that tries to relive the good old times for Carmageddon, but doesn't manage to achieve the glory.
-
Jul 13, 2016Max Damage is a collection of ideas that looked good on paper and sounded good in its Kickstarter pitch, but in practice it would only have been an acceptable sequel if it’d come out in 1999.
-
Jul 13, 2016Carmageddon: Max Damage has a certain appeal, but if you don't get the game's uniquely sick sense of humour, you're going to hate it.
-
Jul 16, 2016This series reboot fails to replicate the cleanness of the original games' racing mechanics.
