Jul 3, 2017Micro Machines World Series is a fun game. There is no doubt about it. The game has a Battle Mode that will give us quite good moments and a local multiplayer perfect for summer. It has few vehicles and we miss a necessary campaign mode, but comes at a reduced price and nostalgia also plays its role.

Jul 4, 2017World Series has a lot of good ideas that were implemented quite poorly. If you were thinking about this one to scratch a casual racing or nostalgic itch, you’re best to hold off – at the very least, until these niggling performance issues are corrected.

There’s nothing much wrong with the graphics or the rough-and-tumble arcade racing, but the new Micro Machines hasn’t got the single-player mode to pull players in or the multiplayer content required to keep them there. There’s a sorry sense of ‘will this do?’ about World Series. While the nostalgia factor is high, the rest is a letdown.

Jul 29, 2017Veteran players of this series will feel let down by this latest installment, and this is all down to the bare bones approach that the developers have taken by releasing this game with only 12 cars and 10 race tracks.
