    Golf With Your Friends presents promising mini-golf fun with its variety of courses and modes but unfortunately, the fun to be had is hampered by overly simplistic core gameplay and some head-scratching glitches.

    The Occupation is a classic example of a concept with great promise but poor execution. The massive amount of bugs that hamper progress and the lack of a proper stealth system constantly get in the way of being able to enjoy this admittedly unique experience.

    8DAYS may have a solid premise but the execution of its mechanics isn't well handled. I imagine that if the developers retooled all of its irritating elements, 8DAYS would be an easily recommendable title. As it is, I doubt anyone could thorough enjoy it.

    The Town of Light's setting in a real-world mental asylum was a clever idea but sadly, its poor graphics, mind-numbing pacing and general clunkiness mean that it doesn't take full advantage of its potential.

    As a huge fan of all things Dark Witch, Music Episode: Rudymical is a big disappointment. Its simplistic gameplay makes it feel like a half-baked mini-game which is a giant step back from the fully-featured games in the main series.

    Dungeon Munchies is a clunky and repetitive game that will oddly get its hooks in you once you begin to understand its unconventional gameplay. It's still an irritating experience, though, but one that is somewhat endearing with its off-the-wall humour.

    One Last Breath's presentation is terrific but everything else about it is mediocre at best so unless you don't mind dealing with subpar puzzles and are a big fan of immersing yourself in a ruined world taken back by nature, I wouldn't bother with it.

    If someone never heard of Crazy Taxi, played Taxi Chaos, and then tried Crazy Taxi; they would think that Taxi Chaos was some sort of rudimentary precursor to the series. It's not a terrible game but it's certainly not nearly as enjoyable as its 22 year old counterpart.

    As a historical narrative told through a personal perspective, 1979 Revolution: Black Friday is certainly a capable piece of media but as a video game, it quickly falls apart and simply doesn't feel finished.

    Overall, Fimbul is a mess. I wanted to like it due to its use of Norse mythology as it truly felt like a journey to Jotunheim, not just an action game with some Norse stuff thrown in but with combat that never felt satisfying, an annoying uncontrollable camera, a handful of glitches, and gameplay that I definitely don't want to dive back into, it's a hard game to recommend to anyone.

    Micro Machines World Series actually contains a great deal of enjoyable content but its lack of structure and dependence on a barren online community means that content mostly goes to waste. Add in frustrating AI and you're left with one disappointing game.

    In the end, at least Windscape's graphics are fairly snazzy and you get a super-cool shield to pair with your weapons when you craft them. The maintenance wrench actually has moving parts and the shield that it comes with has a giant gear around it that moves in sync with the wrench. If the entire game had that level of love and finesse, it could have been a real gem.

    Subsurface Circular does a good job with its graphics, sound, and storytelling. However, the brevity and lack of gameplay make it tough to recommend. It's clear that the developer is capable of something great but they stopped way too short to provide a meaningful and memorable experience.
