Feb 28, 2019I think I just really wanted Fimbul to prove it had more to offer. It’s not a must play, but it’s a game that, if presented to you as a player or spectator, is worth charging through.
-
Feb 28, 2019Fimbul offers a compelling narrative and a beautiful world, but it is hindered by poor controls and a loosely weighted multiple choice system.
-
Feb 28, 2019A nice looking adventure, Fimbul is ultimately a bit of a hollow and forgettable experience.
-
Feb 28, 2019There's a great deal to like about Fimbul, from its luxuriant vector inspired visuals to the solid combat and an interesting interpretation of Norse Mythology. Whilst the delivery of the plot in a comic book format disappoints, it is the failure of the frame rate that provides Fimbul's fatal and final blow. Without this issue being remedied, despite the many reasons I like the game, Fimbul is difficult to recommend.
-
Feb 27, 2019Fimbull is a video game that is slow, not very stimulating and not lacking enough technical and design failures along the way.
-
Feb 28, 2019Though the setting is evocative, the poor combat, raft of bugs and meagre duration all conspire to ensure that Fimbul fumbles its setting and results in disappointingly poor roaming brawler.
