Sep 7, 2018Overall Sigi is totally fine. The design is amusing and the execution is solid. My main issue with it is that there isn’t much to it. It’s not a title that has much replay value. The difficulty of the regular levels compared to the boss levels is also a bit disproportionate. I think that the life-hoarding mechanic is a cheap way to keep the player happy. I know not everyone will find the boss levels as difficult as I did, but it is something to consider. But if you were even vaguely interested in this game, I’d recommend it. It’s fun to play and not a huge commitment, so you can indulge in a little platforming for an hour.

Sep 23, 2018Sigi - A Fart for Melusina is a fun, retro inspired platformer and whilst you probably won't be revisiting this flatulent little fella too often it's a lovingly inspired homage to some Nintendo greats.

Sep 20, 2018If you’re a fan of fart humor, there aren’t a lot of options on the eShop, outside of South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Sigi: A Fart For Melusina doesn’t quite fully commit to the joke, but that doesn’t make it a terrible game; it’s just a hard one to recommend when Switch has so many other terrific platformers to choose from that last quite a bit longer. Still, the controls are tight and the old-school visuals are mostly charming. Some might admire the fact that Sigi doesn’t linger, but with a difficulty level that stays low and doesn’t ramp up until the very last boss fight, there just won’t be enough here for most players to justify a purchase.

Sep 14, 2018If you want to play an inexpensive and brief 2D platformer while having a few laughs then Sigi: A Fart for Melusina is worth a download. However, anyone looking for something even slightly substantial will feel like it's as useless as a fart.

Feb 1, 2019Imagine, for a brief, painful moment that Sigi - A Fart for Melusina is an actual fart. What kind of fart would it be? Luckily, it's not one of those disgusting, watery-ones - sadly, it's not one of those glorious, last-night-I-ate-like-a-bison, volume turned-to-11 ones either. This generic action-platformer is just a boring, scentless, barely heard fart… and not even a funny one.
