Rally Arcade Classics certainly deserves a lot more attention than it's been getting in its first few weeks, and we hope this isn't indicative of the current market's lack of interest in speed arcades. It's not trying to reinvent the arcade formula but rather pay homage to it, nor will it completely fill the gap left by the demise of arcades, but it's a passion project that can compete with the current competition in the indie space unless you consider the existence of a multiplayer mode to be absolutely essential.

It is imperfect in a mysterious and sordid story that at times seems like an incomprehensible gibberish, but that ends up fitting with a structure that reminds us of Siren. It is imperfect in a combat system that lacks depth and precision, but that makes up for it with originality and rhythms different from those of any other hack and slash. It is imperfect in its gameplay loop, relying too much on a repetition that becomes repetitiveness, but which at the same time poses curious situations. And it is imperfect in its audiovisual finish, where there are tremendous contrasts that show that this is neither an indie game nor a great production, but neither is it something that is right in the middle, but rather it transits in that range as it sees fit. There will be those who think it is a mediocre video game, and it is true that you have to have a certain predisposition to enjoy it, whether for what it proposes in its mechanics, for its setting, for its tone or for the legacy of those who signed it. But we wouldn't want to miss it for anything. It's a victory for gamers and the industry that Slitterhead exists.

There are a few more missions, variety and territories, but this doesn't mean that we're dealing with a bad video game, quite the opposite. Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered is, broadly speaking, a next-gen port of the version we enjoyed more than a decade ago. Its logical graphical improvement (4K, 60 FPS) offers some contrasts and generally leaves behind the feeling that it could have offered something more; it keeps its sense of humor and roguelike approach intact, but it doesn't offer any great innovations beyond a "Plus" game mode. Although we regret that the original vision of Suda51 was not offered, the truth is that this is the best opportunity to enjoy the peculiar adventure of García Hotspur and Johnson, characterized by its B-series touch and its constant cinematic nods. If you've never tried it, this is your chance. If you did before, it's never a bad time to enjoy this duo again and their journey to the depths of the Underworld.

Brothership is everything you knew about the series taken to the next level. If you like RPGs with a great sense of humour, you shouldn’t miss it.

You have to be very clear that the point of A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is to watch every step, remain in absolute silence and go unnoticed, and if this seems boring to you, we simply recommend that you skip this game. There's something about it that makes it the most prolific PlayStation saga today.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is, for now, a big yes. After a 'Modern Warfare 2' that was a step backwards and a 'Modern Warfare 3' that clearly had a DLC flavour, Treyarch is stepping strong with this heir to 'Black Ops Cold War', with a campaign rich in references and with very varied and attractive levels that knows how to give the player what they ask for. The multiplayer and the zombies are more than fine at launch, but in a few months the game will be a different story and will be very different with the additions and changes that are made, hopefully always for the better and not spoil anything.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is, therefore, a good game that is adapted to the new public but that also preserves enough on a narrative level to please the most classic fan who accepts the approach to action-adventure and who will find, once again, a beautiful, well-constructed universe and a new episode that will give much to talk about in the coming months.

The only reason we wouldn't recommend it is if the idea of ​​playing an Atari 2600 game, with its clunky controls and obtuse design, turns you off. If you're curious, even if you've never played an adventure like this before, we think it's worth your time, as it's very well designed, with clever puzzles, a well thought-out storyline, and a good number of secrets to discover.
