Is it worth it? In this case it depends a lot on how much you like cyberpunk settings and dystopian futures, as well as point-and-click adventures in general. In this case, it is an interesting experiment in merging it with RPG battles, and that is also something to be valued. Perhaps the scale has failed, having put so much in such a small space, because the approach was ambitious and had potential. When the game ends, there is not much else to do, and you get the feeling that this could have given more of itself. However, that does not mean that it is one of the most interesting indie games we have played, and in this case also with a Spanish stamp.- Vandal

And yes, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 needs to improve and if you're not that specific type of player we mentioned above, you'd probably better wait a few weeks to give the studio time to fix certain bugs, but despite everything, our experience in The Zone, with its inhabitants, its dangers and even its glitches has been very special and, at least the person writing this, would like to see more games of this type that become cult games over time, with their errors, glitches and room for improvement than the umpteenth AAAA adventure or cookie-cutter multiplayer game, something too common these days.- Vandal

Little Big Adventure – Twinsen’s Quest will undoubtedly bring back fond memories for many veterans, and this update is a good incentive to give it another playthrough. We fear that perhaps the controls and action – which can be largely avoided if you play well – will put off new generations, but that is not entirely the fault of the remake: the improvements must be balanced without altering the original spirit. On the positive side, there are aspects that time stands still. Its story, some very entertaining puzzles and the personality of an adventure created with a different mentality to what we find in the current market are compelling reasons to at least give this cult game a chance.- Vandal

On paper, Is This Game Trying to Kill Me? may seem very similar to Tormenture (which we also recommend), but in reality they are very different games. Is This Game Trying to Kill Me? is a much more puzzle-oriented game, and the horror is minor. It's a short (and also cheap) title with very clever and well-planned puzzles, a good setting, and a concept that works very well. It's about three hours long, which we think is fantastic for those who enjoy the genre, and it also has a free prologue that lasts about 30 minutes, which we encourage you to try whether you're convinced to buy the full game or not, since it's a separate adventure.- Vandal

The most positive aspect is undoubtedly the improvements in quality of life and controls that Warcraft 1 has received, the game that has benefited the most from this remastering, being the one that most needed these tweaks to be as enjoyable today as its sequels. One way or another and even with its shortcomings, if you like RTS and have never had the opportunity to discover the origins of this iconic saga, here you will find a good option to immerse yourself without complications in the always exciting and fun wars of Azeroth.- Vandal

Starship Troopers and its legacy persist in popular culture, being a cult film that is increasingly loved and applauded by viewers and a novel that is highly sought after by generations of readers. Unfortunately, this video game does not quite work and does not know how to take advantage of the interesting license and the controversial universe on which it claims to be based. As a result, we have a cooperative multiplayer action video game that tries to be original - and entertaining - but that pales greatly in comparison to other, much more notable options.- Vandal

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is a formidable reconstruction that is absolutely faithful to the original games, which includes the additions that were made in different versions, adding even more aspects to make it a very enjoyable RPG today. Due to the high fidelity with respect to the classic, its conventions and a very purist style of play are maintained, something that is aimed especially at veterans. In any case, it is an excellent entry point to discover the Dragon Quest license, and it is important to play it in case in the future you want to be encouraged to discover its narrative sequel, which we will have next year with Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake.- Vandal

While the level design left us as cold as the snowy mountains that Aloy must explore, the combat surprised us a lot , forcing us to pay attention to all the chaotic action happening on screen and to take advantage of all our tools. Horizon fans who connect with LEGO humor will have a great time with Guerrilla and Studio Gobo's co-production; and those looking for an accessible action-adventure that can also be played co-op will be able to laugh at an adaptation that is not just for fans , and will probably end up enamored of the universe of Aloy and company.- Vandal

Rally Arcade Classics certainly deserves a lot more attention than it's been getting in its first few weeks, and we hope this isn't indicative of the current market's lack of interest in speed arcades. It's not trying to reinvent the arcade formula but rather pay homage to it, nor will it completely fill the gap left by the demise of arcades, but it's a passion project that can compete with the current competition in the indie space unless you consider the existence of a multiplayer mode to be absolutely essential.- Vandal

Death Stranding in the year 2024 remains as original and unique as when it was launched in 2019, and it is a great addition to the Xbox Series catalog. Yes, in addition, it has been launched with a launch offer at the tight price of 20 euros, and on top of that, Kojima Productions has acquired all the rights to the series, which makes it clear that sooner or later the sequel will also arrive on Xbox, so icing on the cake. More players will now be able to discover this very special adventure, and an interesting franchise that will continue in the future, and with which Kojima and his team will surely surprise us again.- Vandal

It is imperfect in a mysterious and sordid story that at times seems like an incomprehensible gibberish, but that ends up fitting with a structure that reminds us of Siren. It is imperfect in a combat system that lacks depth and precision, but that makes up for it with originality and rhythms different from those of any other hack and slash. It is imperfect in its gameplay loop, relying too much on a repetition that becomes repetitiveness, but which at the same time poses curious situations. And it is imperfect in its audiovisual finish, where there are tremendous contrasts that show that this is neither an indie game nor a great production, but neither is it something that is right in the middle, but rather it transits in that range as it sees fit. There will be those who think it is a mediocre video game, and it is true that you have to have a certain predisposition to enjoy it, whether for what it proposes in its mechanics, for its setting, for its tone or for the legacy of those who signed it. But we wouldn't want to miss it for anything. It's a victory for gamers and the industry that Slitterhead exists.- Vandal

There are a few more missions, variety and territories, but this doesn't mean that we're dealing with a bad video game, quite the opposite. In fact, it may be surprising how well this curious strategic-tactical experiment with roguelike elements has turned out. Its gameplay is very solid, the possibilities of the units are deep and the way of transferring the run and gun action to a new genre is talented. So if you are a faithful follower of Metal Slug and also connect with the style of game that has been devised, you may end up like us and get hooked.- Vandal

Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered is, broadly speaking, a next-gen port of the version we enjoyed more than a decade ago. Its logical graphical improvement (4K, 60 FPS) offers some contrasts and generally leaves behind the feeling that it could have offered something more; it keeps its sense of humor and roguelike approach intact, but it doesn't offer any great innovations beyond a "Plus" game mode. Although we regret that the original vision of Suda51 was not offered, the truth is that this is the best opportunity to enjoy the peculiar adventure of García Hotspur and Johnson, characterized by its B-series touch and its constant cinematic nods. If you've never tried it, this is your chance. If you did before, it's never a bad time to enjoy this duo again and their journey to the depths of the Underworld.- Vandal

You have to be very clear that the point of A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is to watch every step, remain in absolute silence and go unnoticed, and if this seems boring to you, we simply recommend that you skip this game. This does not mean that there are some areas that could be improved, such as the lack of variety in situations, but if you like movies or simply find the concept interesting, we believe that it can be a very good option, especially considering that it is on sale at a reduced price.- Vandal

There are probably few PlayStation players left who haven't tried Horizon Zero Dawn, a game that sold well - it exceeded 24 million in April 2023 - and has even been given away for free, but we can't forget that there will always be new users who haven't yet taken the first step in Aloy's shoes. LEGO Horizon: Adventures and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered are designed for them, and the reduced-price upgrade can be an incentive to play it again looking better than ever...The value of Remastered therefore depends on our interest or affection for an epic adventure with great moments, whether it's climbing the first Longneck, discovering the mysteries of a cauldron or surviving a Devilish Garrardiente. There's something about it that makes it the most prolific PlayStation saga today.- Vandal

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is, for now, a big yes. After a 'Modern Warfare 2' that was a step backwards and a 'Modern Warfare 3' that clearly had a DLC flavour, Treyarch is stepping strong with this heir to 'Black Ops Cold War', with a campaign rich in references and with very varied and attractive levels that knows how to give the player what they ask for. The multiplayer and the zombies are more than fine at launch, but in a few months the game will be a different story and will be very different with the additions and changes that are made, hopefully always for the better and not spoil anything.- Vandal

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is, therefore, a good game that is adapted to the new public but that also preserves enough on a narrative level to please the most classic fan who accepts the approach to action-adventure and who will find, once again, a beautiful, well-constructed universe and a new episode that will give much to talk about in the coming months.- Vandal

The only reason we wouldn't recommend it is if the idea of playing an Atari 2600 game, with its clunky controls and obtuse design, turns you off. If you're curious, even if you've never played an adventure like this before, we think it's worth your time, as it's very well designed, with clever puzzles, a well thought-out storyline, and a good number of secrets to discover. If this appeals to you and you like the horror vibe, we think you should give it a try.- Vandal
