    This is not the most complex or deep survival horror game, but there’s charm in it. We like its visual style and its setting, and how it manages to generate tension and surprise the player. If you like horror games and you’re willing to try something different, you can give this one a try.

    Ion Fury is a good game, but the adaptation to consoles is not that good. Bad framerate and lack of basic options like inverting the Y axis (although it should be fixed with a patch soon) are a quite disappointing, although the core, retro experience remains.

It looks great, has a fair amount of unlockable content, and adds small changes to the combat to make it even better. We’ve experienced some issues playing online that, according to the devs, will be fixed soon, but that aside, the experience was fantastic and it definitely deserves that 4.
