There are some innovative features and these do really add to the experience and the overall package with a highly playable multi-player mode makes Red Faction a quality PlayStation2 game.

There is a vast collection of challenges for you to try, some simple, some stupidly difficult.

The gameplay is fast and fluid throughout the game, and contains some of the best looking shoot-‘em-up action we’ve ever seen before.

You could not ask for more but the bottom line will be that this is a slow moving adventure game and will possibly appeal only and primarily to avid ‘adventure’ gamers!

Technically the game is superb, whilst the graphics may not seam that impressive for a Dreamcast game, they do create that comic book atmosphere.

A fantastic adventure game, (though) at certain points you may find yourself a little frustrated with the game's camera angles.

The first thing that will hit you is the stunning visuals in SW:S, everything is crystal clear, even with the speeds that you'll reach in the game nothing slows down, the action remains at a constant fast pace.

Explaining the genius and scarily addictive quality of Phantasy Star Online is tricky indeed, it is something that needs to be played and experienced.

Quite simply brilliant. I have not been held by a game like this for a long time, it is addictive, compelling and quite marvellous to play.

I really wanted to recommend this game, despite it's problems with controls and graphics I would still have recommended it to fans of the genre and "Evil Dead" movies, however because of the length all I can say is rent it out some time.

Graphics, handling, sound, depth and polish are all abundant in this game and if you like driving games, or perhaps even if you don't, you will love Colin McRae 2.

The wrestlers contain so few polygons, they look like an Origami project gone bad. This might be excusable if this lack of detail made up for fast-paced and smooth action, but sadly this isn't the case either.

It's very accessible to those new to driving simulators or those used to arcade style racers, but its also very challenging for the veteran racers out there too.

The big improvement for me is that everything is a lot less linear then before; it really does feel that your actions directly influence Ryo’s progress through the adventure.

As for gameplay, the controls are well defined, but it does not give the sense of holding the pool stick. It feels more like you are controlling a science project because of the stiffness, but they are precise.

There is an unimaginable amount of depth underneath its flashy exterior.

Its beautiful, fast, fun, and full of style, there's nothing out on the market like it so expect to be surprised the first time you see it in action.

Do not expect too many changes, think of it as an expansion pack with more levels, more weapons and even more Nazis to shoot down.

If racing games aren't your cup of tea, or you have no interest in crashing an automobile into things at full speed (silly you!) you may not get much from the game.

Fans of the comic series may appreciate this one, however even fans will become bored.

With a little patience the game's excellent training mode and driver assistance modes do a great job getting a player accustomed to it all.

If you're looking for nothing but action, you won't find it here. But if you want to fly a REAL plane (or as close as it's possible to get on a console), then get this game.

It does become too tedious too soon which is a real shame.

If there was one thing that I had to moan about, it would be the story which involves Humans and Dolphins travelling outer space in little bubbles, until an evil alien species invades the earth and it's up to Ecco to save the day whilst the rest our up in space...

I urge you to try it out. I did, and found a worthwhile experience that can be slow and frustrating at times, but ultimately puts a smile on your face and gives you a sense of achievement.

With the small roster and lack of modes, this one is probably best as a rental and not a purchase, but it is a good way to waste away a weekend.

HD does have some graphical and control issues that do add some frustration to the gameplay, and keep the game form being a solid 9, but they don't stop the game from being fun.

Frankly, GT2 is so good it hurts.

It's not that great to look at, but you will be gripped for a long time, this has to be the best platformer on the PlayStation to date.

No game will freak you as much as this game, and I truly believe you will enjoy it no matter what genre you're into most. If you don't have this game, buy it, and while you're there, pick up a set of briefs. You'll need em'!!

The controls in this game are nothing for you to write home about, although they get the job done. The graphics in Syphon Filter are a mixed bag.

This game is full of surprises and you never know what is going to happen, and that is a very good thing.

Body Harvest ended up being a highly entertaining game and one that I would definitely recommend. Who knows, you might just discover that it is gameplay and not graphics that make a good game after all.

With the random track generator, the smooth visuals, the awesome multiplayer & the comic-book atmosphere, this game becomes a must-by.

It's hard to say how impressed we'll be with future Marios after this one. For now Banjo has the nod with detailed, 3D graphics, crisp sound, beautfiul control and the best gameplay seen on the N64. Excellent job Rare and Nintendo.

The tracks to this game can get sort of boring after awhile of playing the game (most of the tracks are the same, they just re-route them for you to go in different directions).

One of the most unique role-playing games you will ever play.

There are so many subtle touches that only become apparent after many hours of play and the cunningly designed levels match anything Nintendo can offer.

This is without a doubt one of the best games ever made. Every true gamer should own this game, Goldeneye is an absolute must. Personally I don’t think I will ever stop playing this game, I love it.

The orginality is definitely here, and the fun and excitement is also packed into this game.

The dialogue provided brief amusement, however the frustration created by some of the puzzles far exceeded this, and I’ve even got the walk-through.

Some may say that the 2D structure is dated and that the move to 3D is well overdue, however American Conquest like Cossacks does such a fine job with the detail of the environments and the armies, a change here could prove disastrous.

The challenges offered in terms of beating your opponents were well tapered; the more you play the better you get and winning some dosh and opening the sub games, which were equally enjoyable, really topped the experience.

It’s far closer to the seasonal updates that interspersed the "Championship Manager" series. That said the list of enhancements do make a great game even better and will be fully appreciated by the fanatics.

Sports Interactive once again overcome any initial scepticism with a multitude of little touches and new introductions combined to make Football Manager 2007 an essential update - just that little bit better then before.
