Elden Ring is a very entertaining game that takes a lot from other FromSoftware titles. Its beautiful open world is a double-edged sword: on the one hand, it invites you to explore, but on the other, it makes you face the same enemies over and over again until you are sick of it.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has enough arguments to be a great game, not just a simple sequel. Link's new abilities change how players enjoy the franchise, and even the world feels much more open than in Breath of the Wild. The downside is that, at various times, the scenarios feel empty and add little to the adventure. Sometimes the shrines are more challenging to solve, the boss battles are memorable and exciting, and the game invites you to be brave at all times because now, the goal to save the day is more meaningful.

Team Asobi demonstrated through Astro Bot that video games don't need to be pretentious to be fun. The only issue this title has is its excessive reverence for the PS5, which, while a good console, isn't necessarily changing this generation of gaming. Beyond that, we have an excellent title with a high level of replayability that immerses you in a world full of adventures, reminding you that a game should provide plenty of entertainment and not headaches.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree fully lives up to its expansion name by giving us more of what we loved from the base game but with gameplay, world, and content innovations. This masterpiece came back from the ashes like a phoenix to remind us of the greatness of Metroid.

Persona 5 Royal is a title for every video game lover. The style and art direction have characterized it and finished establishing the franchise. God of War Ragnarok is an epic action adventure game. The story is solid. It uniquely interprets Norse mythology and takes you by the hand through an entertaining narrative. The combat mechanics fully serve their purpose, and the progression system goes hand in hand with exploring the 9 Kingdoms, which was a great idea. Nothing has changed. The game is mostly the same: Kratos is still playing the "father simulator" and God of War is still a wonderful game that, at the time, offered an aesthetic experience hard to match up. However, nothing that existed in 2018 can be assumed as the reality that we live in the present day, the fateful AP (After Pandemic) World. What really changed is, undoubtedly, the way we see it... Ah, of course! Also the platform.

Street Fighter 6 is a much more complete experience than SFV. The two headlines that make this game something worthy are the simplification of the combat system for new players and the change in the combat mechanics so that the counters are the new base for the duels to be much more spectacular and dramatic. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty fixes many of the base game's errors and gives us a new mission chain worthy of James Bond himself. The change in the talent trees makes the character build more friendly for new players since it encompasses the talents you need depending on the characteristics you decide to enhance, whether stealth, hacking, brute force, or weapons. The strong influence caused by the Edgerunners series is noticeable, of which we will see several references, especially in the use of Cyberware. In short, CD Projekt Red does a good job and gives us the experience we should have.

Diablo IV mixes everything good from past installments and gives the player a product that can be overwhelming at first but then very entertaining after a couple of hours. The story is fun but hard to follow, and the character classes provide different perspectives on what combat can offer. New and old adventurers will enjoy a fight to the death where defeating Lilith is far from the end of the journey.
