Synduality: Echo of Ada is an extraction shooter poor in content and plagued by a pay to win system. The slow progression make a frustrating experience.

Mato Anomalies is a video game with an interesting premise, but with an execution that is barely capable of keeping up with other turn-based RPGs. Its noir atmospheres mixed with a cyberpunk setting are extremely seductive, but under the bonnet of an interesting vintage car there is an engine whose roar really fails to impress.

This The 25th Ward remake is something that "had to be done", even just to preserve the memory of an almost lost videogame. Despite a catching plot, the rest of the experience is unfortunately imbued with slow and boring mechanics. You should consider the purchase if you are a Suda 51 fan only.

Babylon’s Fall is the first console GaaS developed by Platinum Games and it shows. Technically anchored to the past and artistically uninspired, the action game developed by the creators of Bayonetta hides its best features behind an abysmal story mode that lets the gameplay breath only after more than 10 hours of mandatory tutorials. Post-game content is interesting and the gameplay loop might be engaging after a good amount of updates to fix the rough edges, but will players keep faith in the developers after being welcomed in that way?

Redfall is an indecipherable mess. Many technical problems destroy its playability, making it still fun when played with friends, but otherwise it is clearly an incomplete game.

Assigning a bad rating to Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. is a dirty job, but someone had to do it. Reduced to the bone content and one of the most feeble rollbacks I've ever seen condemn to insufficiency an extraordinary but outdated game, unable in its current state to offer an online infrastructure that guarantees the development of a healthy community. We hope that the new chapter in such a prestigious series will not suffer from such neglect.

An overpriced collection of tech demos that isn't worth the money Sony is asking for: at least a couple of them should have been developed as full games to justify the outlay.

Dynasty Warriors 9 is a game that can be recommended only to hardcore fans of the genre: the formula is absolutely the same, with its inherent boredom, further stressed by a subpar open-world experience. There are some new elements here and there, but the gameplay is basically the same.

World to the West is a shining example of the "good intentions, bad execution" genre. Too much backtracking, the overall lack of polish and the bad, mandatory use of all the characters almost destroy everything good the game has to offer.

We all love Michonne, and it hurts to see her in a modest game like this one. She surely deserved better: a more engaging and less predictable story, a cast of characters you could really care about, and a less sloppy production. Definitely a misstep for Telltale.

Matchpoint: Tennis Championships shows all its limits after just a few matches. There are some interesting ideas but, considering the poor A.I and the lack of game modes, there is no reason to play this game for more than a few hours.

Dated graphics, obsolete gaming mechanics and various technical issues are only some of the problems. There's some charm in the game, within the genre, but this is not enough to allow White Day to reach a good score.

Carmageddon: Max Damage tries really hard to bring back the memories of the weird, yet successful Stainless Games series. Unfortunately, it reaches the goal: the gameplay is almost identical to the original (with very few fresh ideas), the AI is as bad as before, and the technical quality is definitely subpar. A mediocre game that will probably please the fans of Max Damage, and just them.

Terminator Resistance is a mediocre title. Gunplay in not so bad, but the game looks old and never offers engaging or exciting moments. Fun for a couple of hours and nothing more.

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is a mediocre game, ambitious but incapable of realizing its vision, plagued by an inadequate and lazy realization. Only for the most dedicated fans of Sword Art Online.

Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars is one of the most shallow strategy games I have played in years, both narratively and mechanically: few units, weak AI and uninteresting maps do not make for an enjoyable package. A pity, considering the premise is interesting and tactical combat isn’t too bad. But it’s not enough.

Samurai Riot lacks personality and charm; the combat system doesn't offer anything more than mimicking the classic side-scrolling beat'em ups. As it is, the game could be a starting point for something new and interesting, but Wako Factory has a long way ahead.

An adventure with basic stealth elements and a teen-horror atmosphere that also winks at more recent genre series. The atmosphere is good but the all too basic gameplay seems to be aimed at a fairly young and unweaned audience. Technically it does not leave great memories but the porting job could have been better.

A third chapter that sticks to its predecessor in every possible way. While Revenants does not lack interesting aspects, it also painfully shows its low budget nature. In particular, confusing combat and poorly delivered story are its most significant flaws.

Vampire - The Masquerade: Reckoning of New York is the worst chapter of the visual novel version of the franchise. Listless, without bite and with an uninteresting protagonist. The trilogy ends with a chapter below expectations.

Micro Machines World Series could have been a great game, but it simply isn’t. Codemasters worked for the bare minimum, and it’s a shame. The formula still works and entertains, but the game has a saddening lack of content, an absurd online system, and it won’t be saved by some new, interesting game modes.

A clumsy attempt by Square Enix to reach the heights of the first three chapters, but the lack of personality and boldness, together with some technical issues and slightly flawed gameplay, make this fifth installment a game for hardcore fans only.

The real problem with 1-2-Switch is the steep price: 50 bucks is a lot of money for a bunch of cute minigames (half of which are meh). There are some occasions when 1-2-Switch shows the great potential of the new Nintendo console, but it's not enough to justify the buy.

The Funko Pop phenomenon finally arrives in the world of videogames and, taking its cue from LEGO titles, tries to reach a similar audience with simple and immediate gameplay. Unfortunately the result is not what was hoped for due to some questionable design choices and several small bugs that spoil rhythm and enjoyment. Also almost totally missing is the ‘collectibles factor’ that we hoped would be a staple of this production.

With Renegades, Bungie tries an ambitious crossover, but it ends up making Destiny 2 lose its uniqueness. The inspiration from the Star Wars saga feels forced, with a weak story, unconvincing characters, and a universe that ends up being corrupted by alien elements. The campaign is short, the activities are repetitive, and new features are virtually nonexistent. It's only saved from complete disaster by its solid gameplay and a few flashes of brilliance here and there. Definitely not enough to revitalize a struggling live service suffering from an obvious identity crisis.

Mount and Blade is a game we loved (and still love nowadays), and that's exactly why we mourn for this console version, that adds absolutely nothing to the PC version, and lacks important stuff like Mods and 64-player multiplayer.
