Chronicles of 2 Heroes: Amaterasu’s Wrath is a fun videogame, with a well-implemented and detailed game design. The context is intriguing and interesting, capable of projecting the player into a new way of approaching Japan. Too bad for some technical flaws.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is perfect for those who want to take a break from high-paced action games and want to spend a few hours between deductions, clues, evidence and interrogations. Ryunosuke Naruhodo's legal adventures are engaging, boasting excellent writing with imaginative cases (sometimes almost too much), a good dose of twists and great characters. Graphics are alright, but the lack of an Italian localization could make the game almost unplayable for those unfamiliar with the English language.

Pulsar: Lost Colony is a bold title, especially for an independent studio that formed it from a Kickstarter project. Leafy Games developers have cleverly decided to embrace the technical limitations of their production, choosing to offer many small moments from a science fiction anthology, with solid management of their spaceship through well-defined and specialized crew roles. The overly spartan graphics and some environments that are too empty risk breaking the immersion, but if you have a couple of good friends to cross the galaxy with, you've found your game.

Pokémon Sword and Shield represent an exciting new beginning for the saga. Some ideas aren't perfectly developed, but overall the work from Gamefreak is convincing.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is a remake done with plenty of passion, and the charisma it oozes shows it. Hangar 13 rebuilt a great classic without losing track of the original work. Lost Heaven is a shining jewel and there’s plenty of fun to be had. Character animations and the driving system can be a bit wonky sometimes, but those are minor issues in what is overall a great remake.

Color Splash is Wii U's swan song. The game is fun and brings some new (coloured) dynamics in a consolidated structure, despite some smear here and there.

Perfection is not stationed in Tahnra yet, but despite this, Symphony of War is still a strong and compelling turn-based strategy thanks to the amazing mix of simplicity and depth of its mechanics.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is not a remake of the first chapter of the series in disguise, as some might think, however the declared intention to pay homage to the origins of the series has been fully respected. With everything that comes with it, for better or for worse. The more compact and not at all distracting experience benefits not only the pace of the game, but also that of the narrative, which manages to always be focused on the figure of Basim. Unfortunately, many of the historical defects of the series remain, primarily the poor artificial intelligence of the enemies, while the structure of the main missions is overall of a good standard, with a few small exceptions. However, a successful operation was completed by Ubisoft Bordeaux.

Bloober Team delivers us a remake of excellent quality that nevertheless brings with it some elements that are not entirely convincing. Fans of the series will appreciate the faithfulness to the original material and the fact that this blends well with the few but evident changes in terms of gameplay. Unfortunately for Silent Hill 2, in 25 years of fog under the bridge, a lot has passed and in town for some time there has been a new sheriff called Alan Wake 2, who has shaken up the horror genre, becoming the new benchmark.

Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders uses videogame language to be discovered and to surprise. It is an enveloping and engaging video game, which offers a pleasant and exciting play structure, with a generous number of activities. There are some inaccuracies, but it is an RPG with survival dynamics with excellent characteristics. Absolutely must have.

Puzzle Bobble is simply one of the most popular and played puzzle games in videogames history. In this new edition we find the usual gameplay but also many new modes including... Space Invaders. If you love the series, don't pass it up.

Cataclysm makes you feel like a medieval architect with performance anxiety: every mistake is set in stone and paid for in blood. It may not be a title for the masses and it has some areas that could be improved, but it can be rewarding and is certainly original.

Super Mario Party is a good step forward for the series after the previous pale chapters. With this first episode for Switch, Nintendo wanted to look back to the past, especially in the first few games of the series, to bring out the simplicity and immediacy of the original gameplay. The operation has succeeded and is exalted by the peculiar characteristics of the console.

The return to Quel'Thalas is the emotional heart of World of Warcraft: Midnight, a solid expansion that sets the stage for the epilogue of the Worldsoul Saga. The campaign revolves around the Sin'dorei and the conflict between Light and Void, with narrative highs and lows. Gameplay-wise, however, despite one truly new feature—Housing—and no structural revolutions, just pleasant refinements, there's the usual abundance of activities between progression and the endgame that will delight those who enjoyed the latest expansions.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black is not perfect. It tries to remedy the mistakes made by the Sigma series, but it only partially succeeds in its intent and fails to replicate the perfect intensity that Tomonobu Itagaki managed to nail in 2008. However, it remains the best declination of the game currently available on modern systems, thanks also to the Unreal Engine 5 that enhances its aesthetics to excellent levels. It may not be entirely worthy of the Black suffix, but this Ninja Gaiden 2 still deserves your attention while waiting for the fourth chapter.

Shattered Space is a DLC that expands the lore of the world of Starfield, detailing a pleasant and well-conceiveded tale, which makes clear the gruesome and brutal plot of House Va'ruun, which absolutely deserves consideration, from now on. From a playful point of view, here, I would have expected a little more, with some additions as has happened in the past with other Bethesda works. The final result is still very good.

Fantasy Life I successfully expands the laid-back, colorful formula of the original, bringing it to modern platforms with a vast world, flexible class system, and tons of side content. While the story clearly targets a younger audience, the overall experience is rich and rewarding—especially in multiplayer. Combat remains simple but effective, and the excellent localization adds charm. A few camera issues pop up during fights, but nothing game-breaking. Perfect for players looking for a cozy blend of RPG and life sim with a whimsical, fairy-tale vibe.

MLB The Show 21 lands on the new generation of consoles with a limited amount of changes compared to last season. Those who expected a revolution spearheaded by the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will be partially disappointed. That said, MLB The Show 21 is also an extremely refined title, full of options and fun, able to entertain those who want to face a few innings in total relax and also those who are looking for high-level competition.
