May 8, 2023Lone Fungus, although produced by a single developer, is a huge metroidvania. Hardcore gamers will have to work hard to earn all the trophies, while those who prefer a more casual approach can configure the difficulty to their liking and enjoy the game without the slightest frustration.

Apr 9, 2023Lone Fungus takes inspiration from Hollow Knight without being a clone of Team Cherry’s masterpiece: Basti shows a firm willingness to create an experience that can be adapted to every level of ability, opening metroidvanias to newcomers. Basti’s videogame is enjoyable in the world’s exploration, but doesn’t manage to create a distinctive combat experience due to a monotonous enemy design.
