Monopoly Family Fun Pack has been poorly marketed, poorly targeted and poorly executed, to the point where we’re not entirely sure why this package exists. You can find fun on the classic board in Monopoly Plus, but at that point it just seems better to be playing on the physical game board.- The Digital Fix

It refreshes the old formula sufficiently to keep it interesting – but doesn’t do enough to become something special in its own right. It’s yet another example of the kind of game that could only come from a small studio willing to take risks, and it’s to the game’s credit that it leaves you wanting for more rather than overstaying its welcome – but the missed potential of what could have been will dominate your thoughts once you’re done.- The Digital Fix

CounterSpy has a lot going for it, its unique take on the Cold War is one we very much enjoyed and the cel-shaded art style definitely caught our attention and demanded we admire it. It is certainly not a complete success however. Even on the easier difficulty setting players will still be sitting through repeated animations, and the loss of huge swathes of time after each failure can drive one mad. Meanwhile the reliance on chance, while admittedly in fitting with the reality of such situations, feels cumbersome and can really ramp up frustration.
