Super Mario Bros. 35 takes the original classic and adapts it to a 35-player battle royale-style of game and it's no exaggeration to say that this is one fine work when it comes to adapting a 2D platformer to a competitive feast. It's no less true that veterans will be given an advantage by the game's mechanics but newcomers will also be able to get acquainted with the levels and their secrets before they jump into the action. A classic reinvented as a competitive 35-player experience that keeps intact the exquisite gameplay elements of the original is something worth getting into.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown marks a brilliant comeback of the series, this time thanks to a gameplay closer to a metroidvania-type of game that sees the player exploring new places and returning to other locations, while the game's emphasis on the plot and characters keeps the experience enthralling and captivating, and its audiovisual world provides a feast for the eyes and ears. Thanks to a customizable level of challenge and to its rich experience, The Lost Crown is marvelous for both fans of the Prince of Persia series, and for those who are just starting.

Wingspan is an example of how it is possible to take a board game and carry out a near-perfect conversion work to turn it into a functional and enjoyable video game. Nearly every element here has been the target of a marvelous work and players will find themselves welcomed by a very broad and encompassing tutorial, a lovely audiovisual world, an addictive multiplayer (as well as single player) experience and sharp, fine-tuned controls. Wingspan should be held as a benchmark for how to convert board games into electronic entertainment.

The title UnderHero gives a hint about what the game is about, but it also shows the game's rather unassuming nature. With its exploration-heavy gameplay, creative combats and a plot that gets completely flipped upside down early on, Underhero grows to be a marvel of an experience that only gets the player more and more interested right around the same time as other games start losing their interest.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe brings another Wii U classic into the Nintendo Switch and while the experience could have been improved with a full visual upgrade and the use of touch-screen controls, there's nothing here that is not a marvel to look at and to play. This edition has a double job to do: appeal to fans of the series and conquer new players, and it fulfills both jobs with flying colours. Stilstand is a game that evokes particularly poignant emotions in the time we live in, where the social isolation caused by the global pandemic has highlighted the importance of addressing mental health issues linked to loneliness and depression. With its comic book art style and impeccably written plot, Stilstand's only major sin is to be over so quickly and giving us few reasons to pick it up again once finished, seeing as it does a stellar job at everything.
