Planet of Lana II: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition does not reinvent the original but it does a marvelous job at going further than its predecessor when it comes to its exquisite art style and smooth cooperation between the two companions. The way the puzzles and their resolution merge with the game's minimalistic (but by no means unimportant) plot helps cementing Planet of Lana II as one of the finest puzzle platformers of its generation, and its solid visual performance on the Switch 2 makes this version the best way to experience it.- Starbit

This roguelike gets so many things right, it doesn't have to open new paths. Its exploration and mobility are implemented in a fun and engaging way, as is the character development, while the combat is frantic and the level bosses are simply astonishing, not to mention ruthless. All this takes place amid a gorgeous visual background and fluid animations that perform without a glitch. So even if Astral Ascent is not the most innovative roguelike ever seen, it's still more than enough to deserve a good look.- Starbit

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdow combines the freedom of exploration seen in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom with the claymation art style of the Link's Awakening remake. It then tops it all off with a new and creative mechanic, and gives us Zelda as the main protagonist. The ever-expanding echoes mechanic is a marvel when solving puzzles and in combat, and it quickly becomes a key part of the gameplay experience. The gorgeous art style and exquisite soundtrack then wrap it all together in what is yet another Zelda classic that fits perfectly in the Nintendo Switch catalogue.- Starbit

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition has a long name but the experience delivered is simple and very welcoming. With its farming and crafting gameplay along with elements of personal relationships and tasks, Grand Bazaar successfully welcomes us to a cozy and wholesome experience where players are free to follow their main goals in a motivating atmosphere which can last and last without becoming cumbersome. The game also does very well on the Nintendo Switch 2, where its performance is close to irreprehensible.- Starbit

Scott Pilgrim EX brings a change in structure compared to more conventional sidescrolling beat'em ups which sets it apart in ways that are welcome but can also feel unusual at first. Nonetheless the Scott Pilgrim DNA remains unchanged, with frantic and creative combat, a gorgeous pixel art visual style and the series' own irreverent humour. Fun when played solo, and an absolute frenzy on multiplayer, Scott Pilgrim EX embodies the comics' spirit down to the last detail.- Starbit

SOLAS 128 is a surprisingly addictive and enveloping puzzle game that amid its simple art style will put players at the centre of an enormous challenge of interlinked levels. With a learning curve that's both high and balanced, and a demanding but fair difficulty level, SOLAS 128 is easily one of the finest puzzlers on the Nintendo Switch catalogue.- Starbit

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage is fully aware of the Virtua Fighter legacy and holds it up high with plenty of technical skill and mechanic depth. Although based on a game released twenty years ago, this edition delivers an experience that will tick all the right boxes with fans of intricate fighting games, though it is less welcoming of newcomers hoping for a simpler style. Online play has also been improved, thanks to rollback netcode and crossplay, which help make this the ultimate version of Virtua Fighter 5, where all the hallmarks of the series can be found at their finest.- Starbit

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 does what is expected of a sequel, it improves on the original while keeping the best of the original game. In this case, Curse of the Moon 2 brings new characters and a multiplayer component, which is more than welcome and adds a lot of appeal to the game. Fans of sidescrolling action with a gothic/horror theme will have plenty to enjoy here.- Starbit

Thanks to its ambitious game modes and skilled execution, EA Sports FC 26 delivers an experience on the Nintendo Switch 2 that stand next to the other versions of the game, something that's highlighted by the addition of crossplay. On top of the many game modes and detailed possibilities, the audiovisual component is truly impressive, and it all comes together to create a memorable football experience for both die-hard fans and newcomers alike.- Starbit

One Line Coloring is based on an extremely simple premise: draw lines and connect dots to form shapes. The difficulty grows as the game goes along and becomes more and more demanding but the core remains the same. An experience that becomes harder but not unnerving, as it’s accompanied by relaxing, Zen-like features. In the end, that’s what One Line Coloring is all about: challenging, but relaxing at the same time.- Starbit

The game has so many options and events that the experience is never identical with each time we play it, even if the management component can feel a bit repetitive at certain points. Players less versed in the musings of grand strategy and intricate storylines can feel intimidated by the myriad choices available, but those who enjoy their prescription of plot, management, character development and combat will have more than enough to keep their attention focused for a long time.- Starbit

It keeps all the good elements of the original, a friendly and accessible JRPG that stands out for its relaxed atmosphere and pace, and adds additional content that does not change the experience in a significant way, but it's still welcome nonetheless. Veterans of the Atelier series might not find this DX edition groundbreaking, but newcomers will see it as a great entry door into the series. In any case, it's the best way to enjoy this Atelier chapter.- Starbit

Moving Out 2 builds upon its predecessor's concept and brings a hilarious and engaging effort, that joins comedy, fun gameplay, and multiplayer chaos in all its forms. Thanks to its intuitive but by no means facilitating controls, Moving Out 2 is quick to welcome new players but it makes them think and coordinate at all levels, especially in its multiplayer component. Moving Out 2 brings hours of fun to the Nintendo Switch. where it performs very well on its hardware and is a very welcome addition to the system's catalogue.- Starbit

UnderMine fills the shoes of a roguelite game in a very effective way. Not only does the game implement the roguelite conventions right, it also features an excellent system of relics and curses and a simple but competent combat. While it may not look like the slickest game ever made, there's more than enough in Undermine to lock in players for many, many hours.- Starbit

Crysis Remastered Trilogy is the premiere of the three Crysis games on a Nintendo console, following last year's release of the original game. By all measures, it could hardly have gone better. The three games are a marvel to play and to behold, and their conversion has been technically flawless, with a fluid and smooth experience throughout. Overall, this is a fitting incarnation of a trilogy so relevant within the world of FPS games. The only thing that could improve this experience would be a multiplayer mode.- Starbit

Eastward is an adventure game that features a stunning visual presentation and art style, which alone makes it worth to explore the game world and its levels. The game also features great synergy-building between characters when it comes to combat and puzzles that makes the adventure all the more interesting, and while there is a lot of backtracking and some performance issues on television screens at moments with many characters at the same time, Eastward is still a long-lasting, stunning looking and captivating experience.- Starbit

Out of Line is a puzzle-platformer that features a stunning art style, intuitive gameplay, a very interesting co-op component involving its NPCs, and a difficulty level that will fit perfectly with beginners. While more seasoned players might not find it very challenging, Out of Line's gameplay mechanics and audiovisual environment make it a game very deserving to be part of the Nintendo Switch catalogue.- Starbit

Kukoos: Lost Pets is a charming looking 3D platformer that's simple and accessible to everyone and which brings a fun adventure featuring a very pleasant and involving theme. While the camera needs some work to make the experience smoother, Kukoos: Lost Pets is a great effort and one that goes beyond what is usually expected from an indie platformer.- Starbit

Maid of Sker may be a rather short experience but it's a very rewarding at providing a frightening environment that excels at all levels. The game's use of the audio framework in this buildup of fear is particularly well executed and the result is a horror-themed game that fans and many more members of the audience will enjoy and which will fit perfectly in anyone's Nintendo Switch.- Starbit

The second chapter of Atelier's Mysterious Trilogy keeps some things recognizable whereas others are new, and this doesn't always work perfectly. The open world is a very good addition but the time limit is hard to grasp. Its plot is not the greatest asset and combat remains mostly the same, but overall this is something that Atelier fans should discover on their own.- Starbit

Beacon Pines is a charming indie game that puts the player at the centre of a fairy tale adventure as it develops one chapter after another, with our acts having consequences on the game's plot. While the game's focus is not on an action-packed experience, the lovely art style and soundtrack and the way it balances between a kid-friendly look and gloomier and sinister environments makes Beacon Pines a thrill in its own league.- Starbit

Please, Touch The Artwork is a simple but charming effort that blurs the theoretical boundaries between an interactive game and art from the real world, in this case from the works of abstract artist Piet Mondrian. The puzzles are addictive and accessible, and they fit perfectly in the Nintendo Switch format as they deliver layer upon layer of visual poetry. Recommended to fans of puzzle games and beyond.- Starbit

Hotel Sowls joins the niche of point and click adventure games in the Nintendo Switch and even though it does not reinvent the genre for a new age, it does a good job at delivering an experience akin to that of its peers. Featuring interesting characters, involving dialogues and a plot that can reach a surprising turnaround, Hotel Sowls does not go so far as to provide the player with a groundbreaking experience but it does a competent job at creating a game world and the atmosphere to go along with it.- Starbit

Chaos;Head Noah / Chaos;Child Double Pack is a long title but one that encapsulates an enveloping experience delivering two stories of suspense and mystery. Its most pressing issue is the translation, especially with regards to Chaos;Head Noah where many of the double entendres get lost, but nonetheless both games represent a very engaging effort with a good amount of disturbing moments that will grab the players' attention.- Starbit

Marvel MaXimum Collection is a compilation that features an unorthodox choice of games based mostly on their time of release rather than quality. Some of the games have not aged well and their inclusion in this collection feels more like a curiosity. On the other hand, fans of 1990s Marvel games will find this collection to be more practical than looking for overpriced retro games, especially with the multiple formats included here, and the extras do a good job at improving the experience.- Starbit

This action RPG is capable enough to give the player an enjoyable and involving experience, notably thanks to its combat, and its remastered looks are also to be praised. At the same time, its actions can feel repetitive too quickly, and the camera often behaves in a frustrating way. Overall, Boundless Trails does not rise above its direct peers, but players looking for a more relaxed action RPG experience should definitely take a look.- Starbit

Georifters may look like a kid-oriented game but that should not deceive anyone, this is a challenging game that starts off as accessible but quickly grows into multiple possibilities for puzzle solving, with an intuitive gameplay and smart puzzles to solve. While the beginning of the game may feel rather slow, this is an experience that fits well in the Nintendo Switch catalogue, whether solo or multiplayer.- Starbit
